자세제어 추력기 배기가스에 의한 태양전지판의 동적 영향 분석 (Dynamic Effects Analysis on a Solar Array Due to Attitude Control Thruster Plume)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인공위성의 자세제어 추력기 배기가스가 태양전지판에 충돌하여 생기는 동적 영향인 교란력과 교란토크를 분석하는 것이다. 두 개의 매개변수인 태양전지판과 추력기 사이의 거리와 추력기의 경사각을 사용하는 Sweep Analysis를 실시하여 교란력과 교란토크 원(原)데이터베이스를 만들었다. 이 데이터베이스를 기반으로 이 두 개의 매개변수에 의해 달라지는 교란력과 교란토크의 특성을 기술하는 3차 다항 근사식을 만들고, 각 태양전지판의 각(角)위치에 대해 근사식의 계수들을 최종 결과로서 얻는다. 이 결과들은 자세제어계의 입력 자료로서 사용되어 추력기 배치 최적화에 사용된다. 정지궤도복합위성의 후보 태양전지판 두 종류에 이 분석을 적용하여, 교란력과 교란토크 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

유연핀을 적용한 2.5MW급 풍력발전기용 기어박스의 동응답 해석 (Dynamic Response Analysis of 2.5MW Wind Turbine Gearbox with Flexible Pins)

  • 본 연구는 2.5MW급 풍력발전기용 기어박스의 동특성 분석에 관한 것으로서, 유연핀(flexible pin) 채용에 따른 유성기어축의 미스얼라인먼트(misalignment) 개선여부와 충격하중에 따른 기어박스의 동응답 특성을 유한요소해석을 통해 고찰하였다. 내부의 복잡한 기어시스템의 하중전달을 정확하게 그리고 효과적으로 반영하기 위해 치접촉을 등가 치강성계수를 갖는 스프링요소와 물림률을 이용하여 모델링하였다. 기어의 등가 치강성계수는 기어치에 대한 변형해석을 통해 계산하였으며, 동특성 분석을 위해 기어박스 입력단에 충격 토오크를 부과하였다. 수치실험을 통해 등가 치강성모델의 타당성을 검증하였으며, 양단 그리고 일단 고정축과의 상대 비교를 통해 유연핀 적용에 따른 유성기어축의 미스얼라인먼트 개선여부를 확인할 수 있었다.

EGR 밸브 평가 장치 개발을 위한 EGR 장착 엔진 성능 및 배출 가스 특성 연구 (A Study on Exhaust Gas Characteristics and Engine Performance of EGR Valve Installed Engine for Development of EGR Valve Test System)

  • In this study, in order to understand contents and ranges of design for the EGR Valve test system for improving quality and performance of EGR Valve, engine performance and exhaust gas characteristic of 3L-class diesel engine was analyzed. Experimental operation of engine performance test was performed with 50% engine load and 20% and 100% opening ratio of EGR Valve. From test of performance and exhaust gas characteristic of engine, torque output of engine and temperature and pressure of inlet and outlet of EGR Valve were measured. As a result, for design of EGR Valve test system, input fluid flow of EGR Valve must be set the same amount with exhaust gas flow that was below of engine speed of 2,500 rpm, and temperature of inlet of EGR Valve must be set under about $510^{\circ}C$. And the difference of temperature between inlet and outlet of EGR Valve must be over than about $200^{\circ}C$. Exhaust gas of inlet and outlet of EGR Valve were under 1 bar that was not considerable, and the difference of pressure between inlet and outlet of EGR Valve were under 1 bar that could not effect on mechanical operation of EGR Valve.

Non-contact Transportation of Flat Panel Substrate by Combined Ultrasonic Acoustic Viscous and Aerostatic Forces

  • In recent years, the size of plane substrates and semiconductor wafers has increased. As conventional contact transportation systems composed of, for example, carrier rollers, belt conveyers, and robot hands carry these longer and wider substrates, the increased weight results in increased potential for fracture. A noncontact transportation system is required to solve this problem. We propose a new noncontact transportation system combining acoustic viscous and aerostatic forces to provide damage-free transport. In this system, substrates are supported by aerostatic force and transported by acoustic viscous streaming induced by traveling wave deformation of a disk-type stator. A ring-type piezoelectric transducer bonded on the stator excites vibration. A stator with a high Q piezoelectric transducer can generate traveling vibrations with amplitude of $3.2{\mu}m$. Prior to constructing a carrying road for substrates, we clarified the basic properties of this technique and stator vibration characteristics experimentally. We constructed the experimental equipment using a rotational disk with a 95-mm diameter. Electric power was 70 W at an input voltage of 200 Vpp. A rotational torque of $8.5\times10^{-5}Nm$ was obtained when clearance between the stator and disk was $120{\mu}m$. Finally, we constructed a noncontact transport apparatus for polycrystalline silicon wafers $(150(W)\times150(L)\times0.3(t))$, producing a carrying speed of 59.2 mm/s at a clearance of 0.3 mm between the stator and wafer. The carrying force when four stators acted on the wafer was $2\times10^{-3}N$. Thus, the new noncontact transportation system was demonstrated to be effective.

FEM을 이용한 상용차용 S-cam 브레이크슈의 구조해석 (Structural Analysis of S-cam Brake Shoe for Commercial Vehicle by FEM)

  • Structural analysis of a brake shoe for commercial vehicle was performed using finite element method. Since the strength of a brake shoe is affected by the magnitude and distribution shape of the contact pressure with the drum, the contact pressure between the shoe friction material and drum was calculated using a 2-Dimensional non-linear contact analysis in a state. And the brake was actuated by input air pressure and the drum of it was calculated both stationary and dynamic based on forced torque applied to the drum during the static state analysis. The results of the above analysis were then used as the load boundary conditions for a 3-Dimensional shoe model analysis to determine the maximum strain on the shoes. In the analysis model, the values of tensile test were used for the material properties of the brake shoes and drum, while the values of compression test were used for the friction material. We assumed it as linear variation, even though the properties of friction material were actually non-linear. The experiments were carried out under the same analysis conditions used for fatigue test and under the same brake system which equipped with a brake drum based on the actual axle state in a vehicle. The strains were measured at the same locations where the analysis was performed on the shoes. The obtained results of the experiment matched well with those from the analysis. Consequently, the model used in this study was able to determine the stress at the maximum air pressure at the braking system, thereby a modified shoe model in facilitating was satisfied with the required endurance strength in the vehicle.

자동 조립 및 공급을 위한 BLDC 서보 전동기 제어시스템 설계 (Design of a BLDC Servo Motor Control System for the Auto Process of Assembly and Supply)

  • 본 논문은 DSP 제어기와 IGBT 구동기를 이용하는 조립과 공급의 자동처리를 위한 BLDC 서보 모터 제어시스템 설계를 제안한다. 조립, 공급 자동처리 시스템은 다양한 동작을 위해 서보모터의 토크, 속도, 위치 제어를 필요로한다. 본 논문은 이러한 서보제어를 벡터제어와 공간벡터 PWM 기법을 이용하여 구현한다. 제어기의 CPU 로서 PWM 파형발생기, A/D 컨버터, SPI 통신 포트 및 많은 입/출력 포트를 갖는 TMS320F240 DSP를 채택하였다. 이 제어시스템은 메인 호스트 PC 가 위로부터의 명령을 전달하고 끝단의 서보제어기의 상태들을 모니터링하는 세 개의 부 DSP시스템을 관리하는 3레벨의 계층적 구조로 이루어져 있다. 각 부 DSP 시스템은 DSP와 IPM을 사용하여 BLDC 서보모터를 제어하는 8개의 BLDC 서보모터제어부를 운영한다. 호스트 시스템과 중간의 DSP는 RS-422을 이용하여 통신하며, 주프로세서와 제어기는 SPI 포트를 이용하여 통신한다.

  • 최대 토크를 발휘하도록 정현파형 영구자석형 동기전동기를 구동하기 위해서는 회전자 절대위치에 동기화된 120도 위상차를 갖는 3상 정현파 전류 입력이 고정자 코일에 요구된다. 그러므로 회전자 절대위치 검출이 필연적이다. 그리고 고정자 자계와 회전자 자계 사이의 90도 위상 관계가 정류 동작에 의해 유지되어야 한다. 정류를 위한 절대 위치 검출은 일반적으로 모터 축에 부착된 엔코더 출력 신호의 분석에 의해 이루어진다. 본 연구는 현대의 엔코더 시스템을 부착한 모터의 절대위치를 검출 할 수 있는 신호처리 논리회로 설계를 목적으로 하며, 고정자 코일에 정현파 전류 입력을 만들어주기 위한 삼상 기준파형을 발생시킨다.

유압식 어로 윈치 시뮬레이터의 동적 거동 특성 (Dynamic Characteristics of a Hydraulic Fishing Winch Simulator)

  • To meet the increasing demand from various fishing fields for training of fishing equipment operators, a fishing winch simulator was designed to train maritime students in the correct and safe operation of hydraulic winches under various load conditions related to fishing operations. The aim of this study is to describe the basic dynamic characteristics of the newly developed hydraulic fishing winch simulator and particularly to analyze the mechanical responses produced on the winch operation controls. The winch simulator consists of two winch units, a computer control and data acquisition system, a control consol and other associated mechanisms. When one winch is in hauling mode, the other one will always be in loading mode. The revolution speed of the hauling winch was controlled by a proportional directional control valve, and the braking torque of the loading winch was controlled by a proportional pressure control valve. The simulation experiments indicated that the dynamic characteristics of the hauling winch followed the braking response characteristics of the loading winch. The tests also showed that the warp speed and tension linearly depend on the pressure differential across the motor of the loading winch controlled by operating the proportional pressure control valve during the hauling operation. The experience gained from various training courses showed that the fishing winch simulator was very realistic and it was valuable for training novice winch operators. The results of the winch simulation exercise were recorded and used to evaluate the training on the operation and handling of the winch system. From these test results, we concluded that the tension acting on the warp during hauling operations can successfully be simulated by controlling the pressure differential across the motor with step changes of the control input signal to the proportional pressure control valve of the loading winch.

신경망을 이용한 풍력 발전시스템의 피치제어 (Pitch Angle Controller of Wind Turbine System Using Neural Network)

  • 풍력발전시스템은 정격풍속미만에서는 토크를 제어하여 바람의 에너지를 최대로 하고 정격풍속이상에서는 피치를 제어하여 발전량을 정격으로 유지한다. 본 논문에서는 풍력발전시스템의 피치제어를 신경망을 이용하여 제어하는 방안을 제시한다. 피치제어의 목적은 정격풍속 이상에서 발전기의 회전속도를 일정하게 제어하여, 결과적으로 발전기의 출력을 정격전력으로 유지한다. 이 논문에서는 신경망 피치제어기의 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 발전기의 정격회전속도와 현재 회전속도 차이를 풍속과 함께 신경망의 입력으로 사용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 신경망의 훈련 알고리즘은 오류역전파(error back-propagation) 방법이 사용되었고, Matlab/Simulink를 사용하여 제어가 원활하게 되는 것을 확인하였다.

자율작업용 원격운용잠수정의 추진 특성에 관한 실험 연구 (Experimental Study on Propulsion Characteristic of Autonomous Intervention ROV)

  • In autonomous interventions using an underwater vehicle with a manipulator, grasping based on target detection and recognition is one of the core technologies. To complete an autonomous grasping task, the vehicle body approaches the target closely and then holds it through operating the end-effector of the manipulator, while the vehicle maintains its position and attitude without unstable motion. For vehicle motion control, it is very important to identify the hydrodynamic parameters of the underwater vehicle, including the propulsion force. This study examined the propulsion characteristics of the autonomous intervention ROV developed by KRISO, because there is a difference between the real exerted force and the expected force. First, the mapping between the input signal and thrusting force for each underwater thruster was obtained through a water tank experiment. Next, the real propulsion forces and moments of the ROV exerted by thrusting forces were directly measured using an F/T (force/torque) sensor attached to the ROV. Finally, the differences between the measured and expected values were confirmed.
