The article reveals the essence of the concept of "pedagogical innovation" and identifies trends in the development of a modern educational institution. A qualitative analysis of the scientific literature in the field of innovation science has been carried out. The essence of the concept of "pedagogical innovation" is revealed. The modern classification of pedagogical innovations is given. The factors of the success of the introduction of pedagogical innovations are determined. The main trends in the development of modern educational institutions are outlined.

This paper aims to reach the perceptions, ideas and intentions of the higher education adolescences on the effects of technological innovations over interrelation/communication between individuals. While advances in technology commonly works for the welfare and benefit of humankind, paradoxically in some instances could have negative outcomes on interrelations among individuals, minimizing face-to-face communication. The perceptions, so ideas of the individuals on the matter could differ depending on their age, gender, race and the culture beyond their relative intimacy and closeness to ICT tools. In order to penetrate the basic initiatives leading the perceptions of adolescents on the effects of technological improvements on human interrelations/ communication, a survey is conducted with 157 students in high education consisting of Asian, African, Cypriot, Turkish nationals. Results indicate that participants use technological tools for communication which lessens their face-to-face interaction. However they prefer social media more than face-to-face communication during conflict or undesirable situations.

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the main problems of spatial modernization of the economy, and to develop new approaches to way out from crisis, to accelerate of innovations process from the cities-centers to the underdeveloped regions. Research design, data, methodology - The application of scientific methods in this research will allow to systematize the available data, from both a theoretical and empirical perspective. The study employs the method of ranking regions, the rate of innovation activity and comparative evaluation of R&D indicator. In addition, the authors proposed the method of modeling of innovation diffusion in the regions. Results - This study confirms that the need help for the underdeveloped regions, but we should clearly understand the limits of opportunities and to choose the right mechanisms. Further, this study shows it's important to maintain the regions with high innovation activity, as they are growth poles, which are play the role of translator's innovations to the periphery. Conclusions - According to the results of this theoretical and empirical study proved that modernization of the economy is realized faster in the regions with the best conditions for the diffusion of innovations, the higher the concentration of the population, a more developed infrastructure and reduced of administrative barriers.

This paper employs datasets from the Enterprise Survey conducted by the World Bank to examine the relationship between four types of innovation defined by the Oslo Manual (OECD, 2005): product innovation, process innovation, marketing innovation, organization innovation, and the firm performance in the selected developing ASEAN economies. The main objective of this paper is to understand the characteristics of innovation activities at the firm level and how various innovation types affect firm performance. The empirical results from ASEAN manufacturing firms reveal that product innovation positively affects firms' performance, while non-technological innovations are negatively related to the performance of firms. The further employed quantile regression provides more insights into the roles of innovation types on different levels of firm performance: while product and process innovations actively contribute to the small and medium-size firms (below 25^th quantile and median), organizational and marketing innovations negatively affect them. Interestingly, the role of process innovation decreases when firm performance grows.

The article highlights the European experience of innovative educational technologies of training management specialists. Based on existing strategies, relevant in the European educational space, the introduction of regulatory elements to maintain a balance between the traditional and innovative format of the educational process, which is typical for the Ukrainian education system is proposed. The article aims to single out educational and technological innovations into a separate cluster of managerial training at different levels in the context of the principles of the modern synergetic sociocultural paradigm. The main objectives of the work are to develop settings to ensure the effective functioning of innovative educational technologies. Among the synergetic principles of educational technologies, providing the formation of necessary competencies of future managers, are: self-organization, interdisciplinarity, nonlinearity, individuality, and technologization. The methods used in the scientific study can be attributed to the group of scientific synergetic methodology. So, the training of specialists in management, implemented in the European practice assumes the use of new educational strategies. These technologies provide both the necessary skills of different levels (hard-soft-digital skills) and the observance of value components (solidarity, ethics, inclusiveness, openness).

The paper considers the main processes of evolution and convergence of information and communication technologies, which have a permanent source for creation and introduction of innovations in learning and education. The modern scientific and technological revolution gives new features to all modern activities, including activities in the sphere of education, influencing it and transforming its phases, form and content, and perhaps understanding in general. Consequently, general understandings about the essence of the provision of educational services and their technological support are also being transformed. Note that, according to scientists, convergence is a new determinant of the development of society, and evolution is a multidimensional natural process of development (becoming).

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in mathematics education has advanced as a means for promoting understanding of mathematical concepts, academic achievement, computational thinking, and problem-solving. From a total of 13 studies in this special issue, this editorial reveals threads of potential and future directions to advance mathematics education with the integration of AI. We generated five themes as follows: (1) using ChatGPT for learning mathematical content, (2) automated grading systems, (3) statistical literacy and computational thinking, (4) integration of AI and digital technology into mathematics lessons and resources, and (5) teachers' perceptions of AI education. These themes elaborate on the benefits and opportunities of integrating AI in teaching and learning mathematics. In addition, the themes suggest practical implementations of AI for developing students' computational thinking and teachers' expertise.

The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching/learning model for the mathematical enculturation of elementary and secondary school students. It is clear that the development of teaching and learning in the classroom is essential for the realization of global innovations in mathematics education. Research questions for this purpose are as follow: (1) What can be learned from literatures reviews of the socio-cultural perspective on mathematics education, and of ethnomathematics as a mathematics intrinsic to cultural activities? (2) What is the direction of teaching and learning from the perspective of mathematical enculturation? (3) What is the teaching /learning model for mathematical enculturation? (4) What is the instructional exemplification based on the developed model? This study promotes the establishment of mathematics education theory from the review of literatures on the socio-cultural perspective, the development of a teaching/learning model, and the instructional exemplification based on the developed model.

The purpose of this study is to objectively grasp the effect of the engineering education innovation support project among the national engineering-related financial support projects by dividing the groups according to the participation of support projects from 2018 to 2020 and dividing the university performance. As a result of the research the engineering education innovation support project has been consistently producing excellent results of field-based engineering education such as field-oriented industrial-educational collaboration capstone design, technology commercialization, and development and operation of corporate-linked education. It was found that the results showed that the dropout rate of college were lowered. In the future, it needs to be prepared as a place for new and free trials, innovations, and opportunities so that the engineering education innovation support projects can become the mother of other business groups.
