내부탱크 저장 시스템에서 $9\%$ 니켈강재 구조물의 설계 안전성에 관한 연구 (Design Safety Analysis of $9\%$ Nickel Steel Structure in Inner Tank Storage System)

  • 본 연구에서는 $9\%$ 니켈강재로 제작된 완전 방호식 내부탱크 구조물의 설계 안전성 문제를 유한요소법으로 해석하고자 한다. 내부탱크 구조물에 대한 수치적 해석결과에 의하면 내부탱크에 부착된 톱가더와 스티프너는 내부탱크의 변형율과 응력을 제어하는 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 내부탱크에 작용하는 여러 하중에서 초저온 액체에 의한 유체정압은 $-162^{\circ}C$의 초저온 온도하중보다 더 큰 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나, 내부탱크에 작용하는 자중량 좌굴하중에 의한 영향은 내부탱크 구조물이 충분한 강도로 이미 설계되어 있으므로 대단히 자게 나타났지만, 특히 톱가더나 스티프너의 역할은 미미한 것으로 나타났다.

자동차용 유압베인펌프의 고속에서 베인과 캠링간의 이간현상 (The Separation of the Vane and the Camring at high speed of an Oil Hydraulic Vane Pump for Automobile)

  • In an oil hydraulic vane pump for an automobile, it is very important that the vane doesn't separate from the camring inner race during the operation of the vane pump. The vane generally has not only the oil hydraulic force acting on the bottom face to contact to camring inner race but there is also an inertial force and viscous force. Because the oil hydraulic force is much larger than the other forces, the contact state between the vane tip and the camring inner race is sufficient. However, the contact state between the vane tip and the camring inner race is only affected by the inertial and viscous forces during the delivery of the vane pump, because the oil hydraulic force acting on the vane is in equilibrium. If the inertial force is larger than the viscous force, which happens when the vane is separated from the camring inner race, the delivery of the vane pump can become unstable or the volume efficiency can become decrease rapidly. Therefore, in this paper, the state of the contact between the vane and the camring is considered. The results show that the rotating speed of the shaft, the operating temperature of the oil, the clearance between the vane and the rotor, and the mass of the vane exert a great influence on the state of the contact between the vane and the camring.

초저온 하중을 고려한 내부탱크 바닥판의 설계 안정성에 관한 유한요소해석 (FE Analysis on the Design Safety of Inner Tank Bottom Plate in Terms of Cryogenic Temperature Loadings)

  • 본 논문은 내부탱크 바닥판의 중심부에서 바닥판의 가장자리인 코너부로 연결되는 반경 방향의 거리를 따라서 바닥판에 걸리는 von Mises 응력, 변위량, 회전 뒤틀림 모멘트를 나타내고 있다. 계산결과에 의하면 내부탱크를 냉각하는 초기과정에서 LNG의 충진율, 즉 LNG와 직접 접촉하는 반경방향 거리는 내부탱크의 바닥판에 대하여 중요한 영향을 미치게 된다. 내부탱크에 공급된 $-162^{\circ}C$의 액상 LNG와 내부에서 증발된 $-80^{\circ}C$의 LNG 가스가 내부탱크의 바닥판과 환상판, 측벽면 등에 접촉하면서 온도차 하중에 의한 열적거동 특성을 위치에 따라 서로 다르게 보여주고 있다. 유한요소해석 결과로부터, LNG의 증발가스와 초저온 액체($-162^{\circ}C$)에 의한 온도차는 바닥판의 열적 불안정성을 일으키는 원인으로 작용하며, 이러한 열적 뒤틀림 현상은 내부탱크 시스템의 안전성을 위협할 수도 있다.

  • As health and well-being become a global trend, the younger generation is focusing on the balance between work and leisure time and they are interested in sports activities as well as a cultural life. In addition, the range of sportswear is expanding, so that athleisure fashion is getting into daily lives. In particular, consumer groups in the sportswear market are beginning to change since generation Z consumers are more and more interested in sportswear and their needs are also growing of health and functional of sports wear. It's a global trend that athleisure fashion market is growing, which combines professional athletic wear with fashion. As the number of women who enjoy sports and leisure in their spare time, the consumer pattern in the sports wear market is also expanding to female customers. However, most sports functional wears were focused on male consumers, so that functional inner-wears are mostly made for both sexes, which mean the functional inner-wears are produced without considering the physical characteristics of men and women and with not enough size division ending up not suitable for professional athletes. In particular, female professional athletes need functional inner-wear that fits the characteristics of the sport because they are not only different in physical condition and they are also using different muscles for different movements. Therefore, functional inner-wear needs pattern development and size system setting considering the body shape and athletic movement of female professional athlete.

LMTT용 Suhttle Car의 Frame 강도 및 강성에 미치는 Cross Beam의 영향 (The Effect of Cross Beam on the strength and Stiffness of the Frame in Shuttle Car for LMIT)

  • 세계 컨테이너 무역 규모가 연간 $7\%$씩 증가함에 따라 항만 환경이 급격히 변화하고 있다. 이러한 항만의 변화에 성공적으로 대처하기 위해 차세대 항만하역시스템인 LMTT(Linear Motor-based Transfer Technology)의 연구가 진행되고 있다. LMTT용 Shuttle car의 frame부는 컨테이너를 지탱하는 outer beam, frame의 뼈대가 되는 inner beam, 두 beam을 연결시켜 보강하는 cross beam으로 구성되어 있으며, 본 연구에서는 이러한 frame은 설계하기 위하여 cross beam의 개수, 하중 재하 위치 및 inner beam의 위치에 따른 outer beam과의 거리 비 등이 frame의 강도 및 강성에 미치는 영향을 유한요소해석을 통하여 고찰하였다.

  • Recently, the performance development of the exhaust system of a car is very important. The most important part of parts that constructing the exhaust system of a car is a muffler. The muffler reducing the exhaust noise from the engine influence on the engine performance directly. The inner parts of the muffler construct with the baffle and perforated pipes and so on. In the recent study, the study to design the semi-active muffler sensing the exhaust gas pressure controlling the back pressure variably with a EVV progress activity. So that the inner parts of the muffler show the complicated turbulent flow phenomena because of pulsatile flow from the engine and the structural properties and so on. The qualitative and quantitative analysis about the turbulent flow phenomena of the inner parts of the muffler is required gradually. In this study, to analysis the flow field of the inner parts of the muffler, analysis results with the PIV measurement to be able to analysis the variable change of the time and the space. Therefore, try to show the design variables to need to design the inner parts of a muffler of a car.

홍수전파와 배수갑문 운영에 따른 새만금호 내부 수리특성의 동적응답 (Dynamic Response of Hydraulic Characteristics in the Inner Saemankeum Reservoir According to Gate Operation and Flood Events)

  • 새만금호의 방조제 완공이후와 내부 개발이후 만경강 및 동진강의 홍수량 유입과 내부 수위를 관리하기 위해 수문을 작동할 매 수리특성이 어떻게 반응할 것인가를 평가하기 위한 수치실험이 수심적분된 ADCIRC 모형을 이용하여 실시되었다. 2차원 동적하도추적에 따르면, 상류에서는 홍수수문의 시간적 변화가 민감하나 홍수파가 호 내로 유하 하면서 급확대되는 물리적 특성에 따라 호 중심부터는 안정화된다. 평상시 관리수위를 유지하기 위해 수문을 제어하는 경우, 내부개발이후가 방조제 완공직후에 비해 수문 인근영역에서 유속, 수위 등에 동적응답이 즉각적으로 보다 크게 일어나고, 외해수를 호 내측으로 받아들이면 불규칙 수면교란이 일시적으로 발생하는데 내부개발 전후에 따라 최대 10km 및 16km정도까지 상류방향으로 전파된다.

Effects of intrauterine growth restriction during late pregnancy on the cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation in ovine fetal thymuses

  • Objective: This study investigated the effects of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) during late pregnancy on the cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation in ovine fetal thymuses. Methods: Eighteen time-mated Mongolian ewes with singleton fetuses were allocated to three groups at d 90 of pregnancy: restricted group 1 (RG1, 0.18 MJ ME/body weight [BW]0.75/d, n = 6), restricted group 2 (RG2, 0.33 MJ ME/BW0.75/d, n = 6) and control group (CG, ad libitum, 0.67 MJ ME/BW0.75/d, n = 6). Fetuses were recovered at slaughter on d 140. Results: The G0/G1 phase cell number in fetal thymus of the RG1 group was increased but the proliferation index and the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) were reduced compared with the CG group (p<0.05). Fetuses in the RG1 group exhibited decreased growth hormone receptor (GHR), insulin-like growth factor 2 receptor (IGF-2R), and their mRNA expressions (p<0.05). For the RG2 fetuses, there were no differences in the proliferation index and PCNA expression (p>0.05), but growth hormone (GH) and the mRNA expression of GHR were lower than those of the CG group (p<0.05). The thymic mRNA expressions of cyclin-dependent protein kinases (CDKs including CDK1, CDK2, and CDK4), CCNE, E2-factors (E2F1, E2F2, and E2F5) were reduced in the RG1 and RG2 groups (p<0.05), and decreased mRNA expressions of E2F4, CCNA, CCNB, and CCND were occurred in the RG1 fetuses (p<0.05). The decreased E-cadherin (E-cad) as a marker for epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) was found in the RG1 and RG2 groups (p<0.05), but the OB-cadherin which is a marker for activated fibroblasts was increased in fetal thymus of the RG1 group (p<0.05). Conclusion: These results indicate that weakened GH/IGF signaling system repressed the cell cycle progression in G0/G1 phase in IUGR fetal thymus, but the switch from reduced E-cad to increased OB-cadherin suggests that transdifferentiation process of EMT associated with fibrogenesis was strengthened. The impaired cell growth, retarded proliferation and modified differentiation were responsible for impaired maturation of IUGR fetal thymus.

내부 열교환기를 이용한 R-1270용 냉동시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of R-1270(Propylene) Refrigeration System Using Internal Heat Exchanger)

  • This paper considers the influence of internal heat exchangers on the efficiency of a refrigerating system using R-1270. These internal heat exchangers(liquid-gas or suction-line heat exchangers) can, in some cases, yield improved system performance while in other cases they degrade system performance. A steady state mathematical model is used to analysis the performance characteristics of refrigeration system with internal heat exchanger. The influence of operating conditions, such as the mass flowrate of R-1270, inner diameter tube and length of internal heat exchanger, to optimal dimensions of the heat exchanger is also analyzed. The main results were summarized as follows : the mass flowrate of R-1270, inner diameter tube and length of internal heat exchanger, and effectiveness have the influences on the cooling capacity, compressor work and RCI(Relative Capacity Index) of this system. With a thorough grasp of it is possible to design the R-1270 compression refrigeration cycle using internal heat exchanger.

Design of PM Excited Transverse Flux Linear Motor of Inner Mover Type

  • A transverse flux, PM-exited linear motor (TFM-LM) with inner mover was designed and built. Its output power density is higher and its weight is lower than those of the conventional PM exited linear synchronous motors (PM LSM). To obtain the maximum thrust force under the given volume, the thrust force density with respect to the ratio of the slot width and the length of pole pitch is analyzed by the 3-dimension finite element method (FEM). Finally, calculated static thrust forces was compared with the experimental values. The calculated and measured performance of the transverse flux, PM-exited linear motor with inner mover revealed great potential for system improvements by reducing the mass of the linear motor. For examples, when this motor was applied to a ropeless elevator, it was possible to increase the power density by more than 400% over the conventional PM-LSM. The results of this study recommend this type of motor for the ropeless elevator or gearless direct linear driving system.
