FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘과 퍼지 결정트리를 이용한 상황인식 정보 서비스 (A Context-Aware Information Service using FCM Clustering Algorithm and Fuzzy Decision Tree)

  • FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘은 대표적인 분할기반 군집화 알고리즘이며 다양한 분야에서 성공적으로 적용되어 왔다. 그러나 FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘은 잡음 및 지역 데이터에 대한 높은 민감도, 직관적인 결과와 상이한 결과 도출 가능성이 높은 문제, 초기 원형과 클러스터 개수 설정 문제 등이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 FCM 알고리즘의 결과를 해당 속성의 데이터 축에 사상하여 퍼지구간을 결정하고, 결정된 퍼지구간을 FDT에 적용함으로써 FCM 알고리즘이 가지는 문제 중 잡음 및 데이터에 대한 높은 민감도, 직관적인 결과와 상이한 결과 도출 가능성이 높은 문제를 개선하는 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 실제 교통데이터와 강수량 데이터를 이용한 실험을 통하여 제안 모델과 FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘을 비교한다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안 모델은 잡음 및 데이터에 대한 민감도를 완화시킴으로써 보다 안정적인 결과를 제공하며, FCM 클러스터링 알고리즘을 적용한 시스템보다 직관적인 결과와의 일치율을 높여줌을 알 수 있다.

고속도로 노면유출수의 중금속 유출 특성 및 상관성 (Washoff Characteristics of Metal Pollutants in Highways)

  • The paved areas in nonpoint source are highly polluted landuses because of high imperviousness and high pollutant mass emissions from vehicle activities. Particularly, the metal pollutants are a big issue in the paved area. It is usually washed-off during storms by adsorbing on sediments or soluble status. Therefore, this research was achieved for understanding the characteristics of metal pollutants in stormwater runoff in highways. Five monitoring sites were equipped with an automatic rainfall gage and an automatic flow meter. This manuscripts will summarize the washoff characteristics of metal pollutants and its concentration changes during storms. Usually first flush phenomenon was observed for all of the storm events and visibly confirmed with hydro- and polluto-graphs. Also it was coincided with the tendency of particulates and organic matters. The decrease rate per total reduced amount for metals during initial 30-min storm duration was obtained on 80%. The result may be able to use for determining the economical treatment criteria for stormwater runoff in highways.

토석류 방재구조물 성능 검토 수치해석 - Case study: 부산 백양산 (Case Study for Efficiency of Counter-Debrisflow Structures in Baekyang Mt.)

  • The number of landslides has increased since the 2000s due to the increased frequency of heavy rainfall caused by abnormal weather. A variety of debris flow prevention facilities have been installed as a countermeasure against this problem. However, it is not easy to evaluate the efficiency of debris flow prevention structures except for the structures with constant volume such as the erosion dam, because the other structures are limited to be reproduced in simulation program for debris flow. Therefore, the methods by which the debris flow prevention structures were modeled were proposed, and the efficiency of four prevention structures installed in Baekyang Mt. in Busan was evaluated with UDS, which accuracy had been verified, using these methods. The initial amount of debris flow was determined based on landslide which occurred in 2014, and specifications of the complex retaining walls around the settlements were measured and applied modeling for terrain. The numerical results showed that the efficiency of debris flow prevention structures could be quantitatively presented. Among the debris flow prevention structures installed in Baekyang Mt., prevention structure of barrier type for debris flow was the most efficiency and debris flow prevention device was the lowest efficiency when the only depth of debris was evaluated. It seems that this study is meaningful to propose the methods which were used to model the debris flow prevention structures that could not be reproduced in most 2D debris flow numerical analysis programs. If precise verification of the presented methods is carried out, it will be possible to provide clear criteria for the efficiency evaluation method of disaster prevention structures.

Analysis of non-point and point source pollution load in DongPieHong Ditch

  • In this study, the DongPieHong Ditch were taken as the research object, five sampling points were set to measure the COD, NH3-N,TNandTPindexes. The correlation and principal component analysis were used to judge the main pollution sources and calculate pollution contribution rate. According to the population in the basin, the load of point source pollution into the river was estimated. As a result, the load of COD, NH3-N and TP into the river was 323.04t/a, 43.8t/a and 3.9t/a, respectively. According to the statistics of the rainfall in the basin, the concentrations of COD, TP and NH3-N in the initial rainwater were measured and calculated for non-point source pollution, and the results shown that the inflow loads of COD, NH3-N and TP into the river were 34.59t/a, 0.12t/a and 0.71t/a, respectively. It was found that the main cause of the pollution in the east flash flood gully was point source pollution, and the proportions of COD, NH3-N and TP into the river were 90.33%, 99.72% and 84.61%, respectively.

SWMM 모형을 활용한 도로 형태별 초기세척비율 산정 (The Estimating MFFn by SWMM in The Transportation Area)

  • The MFFn(Mass First Flush) was analyzed for various rainy events(monitoring data from 2008 to 2009) in Transportation area(Highway, National road, Trunk road). Estimated MFFn using SWMM was evaluated by comparison with observed MFFn. MFFn was estimated by varying n-value from 10% to 90% on the rainy events. The n-value increases, MFFn is closed to '1'. As time passed, the rainfall runoff was getting similar to ratio of pollutants accumulation. The result of a measure of the strength of the linear relationship between observed data and expected data under model was good ($R^2$=0.89). Pollutants runoff loads by volume showed Highway 26.6%, National road 44.8%, Trunk road 35.0% at the MFF20(20% by total runoff). A case of MFF30, pollutants runoff loads by volume showed Highway 40.2%, National road 54.3%, Trunk road 46.8%. According to the results, Initial precipitation basis were Highway MFF30, National road MFF20, Trunk road MFF30 when the Non-Point source control facilities set up.

비정상침투에 의한 증축제체의 침투거동과 안정성 (The Seepage Behaviour and Stability of Extension Embankment by Unsteady State Seepage)

  • 본 연구에서는 증축하천제방의 침투거동과 안정성을 평가하기 위하여, 증축부의 투수계수와 홍수시 강우로 인한 수위상승속도를 3가지 경우로 변화시켜 가면서 평행흐름조건에서 침투모형실험과 유한요소해석을 통한 침윤선 변화와 홍수직후의 수위급상승시 제체사면의 안정성을 분석하여 제체침식에 대한 사면의 불안정성을 검토하였다. 침투모형실험은 평행흐름조건에서 서로 다른 증축재료의 투수계수 $k_1$, $k_2$, $k_3$와 홍수시 발생 가능한 수위상승속도 $v_1$, $v_2$, $v_3$를 각각 변화시키며 수행되었다. 증축체제의 침투거동은 증축부의 투수계수가 클수록 초기 침투거리가 길고, 제체하류사면에 유출점이 점차로 상승하며 시간에 따른 안전율이 감소하면서 국부적인 붕괴로 이어지는 불안정한 침투거동을 보여준다. 또한, 제체사면의 붕괴양상은 수위상승속도가 증가할수록 붕괴발생높이와 붕괴깊이가 증가함을 보여준다.

절수의 시기 및 방법의 차이가 수도의 생육수량과 기타 실용형질에 미치는 영향

  • Higher yield in rice paddies is greatly dependent on adequately balanced and timely supply of water. A majority of rice paddy in Korea is generally irrigated by rainfall, but in many cases it has to be supplemented by artificial irrigation for optimum rice culture. Although the water requirement of rice plant is for higher Than that of athec crops, submerged condition of rice paddy is not Necessarily required. The moisture requirement of rice plant varies with its growing stages, and it is possible to increase the irrigation efficiency through reduction of water loss due to percolation in rice paddies. An experimental plots were set up by means of sandomized block design with three duplication; (a) All time submerged, (b) Economically controlled, and (c) Extremely controlled. Three different irrigation periods Were (a) Initial sage, (b) Inter-stage, and (c) Yast stage. The topsoil of the three plots were excavated to the depth of 30 cm and then compacted with clay of 6 cm thickness. There after, they were piled up with the excavated top soils, leveled and cored with clay of 6 cm thickness around footpath in order to prevent leakage. The results obtained from the experiments are as follows, 1. There is no difference among the three experiments plots in terms of physical and chemical conditions, soil properties, and other characteristics. 2. Culm length and ear length are not affected by different irrigation methods. 3. There is no difference in the mature rate and 1, 000 grain weight of rice for the three plots. 4. The control plot which was irrigated every three days shows an increased yield over the all the time submerged plot by 17.8 percent. 5. The clay lined plot whose water holding capacity was held 5 days long, needs only to be irrigated every 7 days. 6. The clay lined plot shows an increased yield over the untreated plot ; over all-the-time submerged plot by 18 percent ; extremely controlled plot by 18 percent, and economically controlled plot by 33 percent. 7. It may be saved in water requirement about one Thirds.

NRCS-CN의 초기손실량 산정방법의 개선을 통한 유효우량 산정 (Estimation of Effective Rainfall Through Improving Initial Abstraction Method of NRCS-CN)

  • 강우-유출 모형을 이용하여 직접유출량을 산정할 경우, 유역의 유효우량을 산정하기 위해 NRCS-CN(Natural Resources Conservation Service - curve number) 방법을 주로 사용한다. 그러나 NRCS-CN 방법은 초기손실량을 잠재보유수량의 20%로 가정하고 유효우량을 산정한다. 이는 초기손실량을 과대 추정하여 유효우량의 과소산정을 초래한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 관측된 강우-유출사상을 바탕으로 초기손실량을 추정하는 방법을 보완하였다. 우리나라 홍수기 동안 강우-유출 자료를 확보한 15개의 유역에 대해 658개의 강우-유출사상에 대하여 NRCS-CN 방법을 기반으로, 초기손실량과 유효우량을 산정하고 이를 관측 직접유출량과 비교 분석하였다. 유효우량을 산정하는 방법으로는 NRCS-CN 방법(M1), NRCS-CN 방법에서 초기손실량계수를 감소시킨 방법(M2), 관측 강우-유출 관계를 바탕으로 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법(M3)을 적용하였다. 또한 USDA에서 제시하는 CN값(CNT)과 유역의 경사도를 고려하여 조정한 CN값(CNC)을 각 방법들에 적용하였다. 모형의 성과는 Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE), 그리고 Percent Bias (PBIAS) 등을 이용하여 평가되었다. 그 결과 CNT를 M1, M2, M3에 적용한 경우 각 유역에서 평균적으로 [RMSE(0.24, 18.12, and 16.04), NSE(0.54, 0.73, and 0.79), PBIAS(36.54, 20.25, and 12.00)]로 나타났으며. 이와 비슷하게 CNC를 M1, M2, M3에 적용하였을 경우의 각 유역에서 평균적으로 [RMSE(17.17, 15.88, and 13.82), NSE(0.76, 0.80, and 0.85), PBIAS(3.06, 4.47, and 0.11)]로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 제안된 M3방법을 사용하여 추정한 유효우량이 관측된 직접유출량과 통계학적으로 가장 가까운 값으로 나타났다.

초단기 레이더 강우예측 초기장 고도화 시스템 검증: 2016년 태풍 차바 사례를 중심으로 (Verification of initial field of very short-term radar rainfall forecasts using advanced system: A case study of Typhoon CHABA in 2016)

  • 본 연구에서는 집중호우에 대한 레이더기반 초단기 강우예측 시스템의 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 초기장 개선 연구를 수행하였다. 집중호우에 적합한 강우를 추정하기 위해 층운형, 대류형, 열대형의 Z-R관계식과 반사도 조건에 따라 층운형과 적운형을 구분하여 Z-R 관계식을 적용하였으며, 이를 초단기 강우예측 시스템의 초기장으로 활용하였다. 또한 2016년 10월 5일 태풍 차바(Chaba)에 의한 집중호우 사례에 대해 지상관측 강우자료와 레이더 추정 및 예측 강우자료와의 비교를 통해 정확도를 정성적 정량적으로 평가하였다. 레이더 강우추정에 대한 분석 결과, 복합형 타입의 Z-R 관계식의 상관계수와 평균제곱근오차가 비슬산레이더의 경우 각각 0.8207, 9.22 mm/hr, 면봉산 레이더의 경우 각각 0.8001, 10.53 mm/hr로 가장 좋은 성능을 보였다. 강우 예측에 대한 분석 결과, 집중호우 사례에 대해 강우강도 공간분포 및 이동 패턴은 평균적으로 잘 모의하였으며, 초단기 강우예측 결과의 평균적으로 POD는 0.97이상, FAR는 0.21 이하로 다소 정확하게 예측하는 것으로 분석되었다. 정량적 평가 결과, 비슬산 레이더의 경우 상관계수가 예측시간 60분까지 0.545이상, 면봉산 레이더의 경우 0.379 이상으로 비교적 좋은 상관성을 보였으며, Z-R관계식 유형에 따른 차이는 작은 것으로 확인되었다. 평균제곱근오차의 경우 열대형과 복합형의 Z-R관계식이 높은 정확도를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과, 초기장 정확도의 개선을 통한 레이더 기반 초단기 강우예측 모형의 정확도 개선 가능성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 향후 지속적인 사례연구 및 검증을 통하여 강우추정 및 강우예측 알고리즘 개선의 노력이 필요하다.

Incipient motion criteria of uniform gravel bed under falling spheres in open channel flow

  • Prediction on initial motion of sediment is crucial to evaluate sediment transport and channel stability. The condition of incipient movement of sediment is characterized by bed shear stress, which is generated from force of moving water against the bed of the channel, and by critical shear stress, which depends on force resisting motion of sediment due to the submerged weight of the grains. When the bed shear stress exceeds the critical shear stress, sediment particles begin rolling and sliding at isolated and random locations. In Mountain River, debris flow frequently occurs due to heavy rainfall and can lead some natural stones from mountain slope into the bed river. This phenomenon could add additional forces to sediment transport system in the bed of river and also affect or change direction and magnitude of sediment movement. In this paper, evaluations on incipient motion of uniform coarse gravel under falling spheres impacts using small scale flume channel were conducted. The drag force of falling spheres due to water flow and length movement of falling spheres were investigated. The experiments were carried out in flume channel made by glass wall and steel floor with 12 m long, 0.6 m wide, and 0.6 m deep. The bed slopes were selected with the range from 0.7% to 1.5%. The thickness of granular layer was at least 3 times of diameter of granular particle to meet grain placement condition. The sphere diameters were chosen to be 4cm, 6 cm, 8 cm, 10 cm. The spheres were fallen in to the bed channel for critical condition and under critical condition of motion particle. Based on the experimental results, the Shields curve of particles Reynold number and dimensionless critical shear stress were plotted. The relationship between with drag force and the length movement of spheres were plotted. The pathways of the bed material Under the impact of spheres falling were analyzed.
