Design of Middleware for Face Recognition based on WIPI Platform (WIPI 플랫폼 기반 얼굴인식 미들웨어 설계)

  • Proportionately with a rapid development of mobile instrument technology, the number of mobile contents utilizing computing environment's graphic technology or image processing is increasing. In this paper, I designed a middleware which supports facial detection and recognition system based WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), the Korean standard mobile platform. The facial recognition middleware introduced the object oriented concepts, to apply to recognition security and other contents by using mobile camera. This can reduce the development time and cost by dividing process while developing software. Therefore, it would be applied to content security or technology transfer with other company. Facial recognition middleware system is composed of face detection module and face recognition module, and proposes the application contents design method based on WIPI platform.

  • For competitiveness of national B2C (Business to Customer) service industry, improvement of process and analysis focused on customer and change of service system are needed. In other words, a business and an organization should deduce and provide what kind of services customers want. Then, evaluate customers' satisfaction and improve the service quality. To achieve this goal, accurate feedbacks from customers play an important role; however, there are not quantitative and standard systems a lot in nation. Recently, the researches about ICT (Information and Communication Technology) that can recognize emotion of human being are on the increase. The facial expression recognition among them is known as most efficient and natural human interface. This research analyzes about more efficient facial expression recognition and suggests a customer satisfaction feedback system using that.

  • Desktop virtualization technology running on the local computing system in the process of resource depletion or degradation, such as upgrading the system to solve problems and manage critical information and systems must be protected. In addition, a virtualized environment by constructing a convenient stand-virtualized infrastructure and user space, and security from external attack or internal flaw or a problem, even if the service fails to respond quickly and should help to recover. In this paper, a comprehensive virtualization technology based on the client's desktop virtualization technology elements needed to find a local computing environment more comfortable and stable in the proposed new virtualization technologies.

  • The concern which is abundant in MANET VoIP for comprising the mobility guarantee and mobile network is received without the infrastructure system between the mobile terminal node. However, because the access of system and border is easy, the issue which is big in the security problem becomes more than the wired network system with this convenience by the foreign network attacker differently. In this paper, we would like to the fundamental web network, NAT and concluding the security problem technology in which Firewall can inquire on MANET VoIP and whether it is appropriate or not which can solve this is proposed.

  • Due to the IT development, RFID/USN became very familiar means of communication. However, because of increased number, security, and size constraints of nodes, it is insufficient to implement a variety of services. To solve these problems, this paper suggests RI-RSA, which is an appropriate asymmetric cryptographic system for RFID/USN environment. The proposed RI-RSA cryptographic system is easy to implement. To increase the processing speed, RI-RSA was suggested by subdividing the multiplication section into two-dimensional, where bottleneck phenomena occurs, and it was implemented in the hardware chip level. The simulation result verified that it caused 6% of circuit reduction, and for the processing speed, RI-RSA was 30% faster compare to the existing RSA.

  • Smartphones have become commonplace to use smart, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) spread the trend of domestic WLAN use is intensifying as a result, the security threat will be greatly increased. Even though WLAN vendors such as Cisco Systems Inc,. Aruba networks released WIPS, MDM, DLP etc, however, these solutions can not be easily introduced for small business due to high cost or administrative reasons. In this paper, without the introduction of expensive H/W equipment, in WLAN environments, packet analysis, AP, Station management, security vulnerabilities can be analyzed by the proposed intrusion detection system.

  • This paper introduces Stuxnet, a malicious ware that presently stimulates severity of the cyber warfare worldwide, analyses how it propagates and what it affects if infected and proposes a process to cure infected systems according to its organization. Malicious wares such as Stuxnet secretes themselves within the system during propagation and it is required to analyze file hiding techniques they use to detect and remove them. According to the result of the analysis in this paper, Stuxnet uses the library hooking technique and the file system filter driver technique on both user level and kernel level, respectively, to hide its files. Therefore, this paper shows the results of the Stuxnet's file hiding approach and proposes an idea for countermeasure to neutralize it. A pilot implementation of the idea afterward shows that the stealthing techniques of Stuxnet are removed by the implementation.

  • Recently, Network companies have introduced security solutions to protect the network from intrusions, attacks and viruses but the network has still weakness and vulnerability. It is time to bring more stable and reliable authentication system that would meet the Internet user's need. In this study, Current broadband networks don't have hierarchic and stable authentication solutions. And so, an integrated and hierarchic system is needed to provide a various kinds of application services. I'd like to present a new authentication system which is based on unified web authentication design. It will unit various authentication systems that have been deployed in various network environment and reinforce network security to provice a various kinds of application services in a stable and safe environment. that is a simple and more secure method for fighting a rise in card-not-present fraud.

  • Proof of Work (PoW) based blockchains have limitations in throughput, time consumption, and energy efficiency. In these systems, a miner will consume significant time and resources to obtain a reward for contributing to the blockchain. To overcome these limitations, recent research on blockchains are focused on accelerating the speed, scalability, and enhancing the security level. By enhancing specific procedures of blockchain system, the level of data integrity supported by the blockchain can become more robust, and efficient. In this paper, a new blockchain consensus model based on the Bryllite Consensus Protocol (BCP) is proposed to support a hyper-connected massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) ecosystem. The BCP scheme enables users to participate directly in new consensus processes through a Proof of Participation (PoP) algorithm. In this model, the consensus algorithm has a simpler form while maintaining high security level. In addition, because the BCP scheme gives users an equal chance to make a contribution to the blockchain, rewards are distributed in an equal fashion, which motivates user participation. The analysis of the proposed scheme is applied to the Bryllite consortium blockchain system (homed in Hong Kong), which is a new blockchain network developed for international game industries, gamers, and game events.

Monitoring System of File Outflow through Storage Devices and Printers (저장매체와 프린터를 통한 파일유출 모니터링시스템)

  • The riles or intellectual property on computer systems have increasingly been exposed to such threats that they can be flowed out by internal users or outer attacks through the network. The File Outflow Monitoring System monitors file outflows at server by making the toe when users copy files on client computers into storage devices or print them, The monitoring system filters I/O Request packet by I/O Manager in kernel level if files are flowed out by copying, while it uses Win32 API hooking if printed. As a result, it has exactly made the log and monitored file outflows, which is proved through testing in Windows 2000 and XP.
