Design of traceable Electronic Cash System based on Feige-Fiat-Shamir blind digital signature (Feige-Fiat-Shamir 은닉전자서명에 기반한 추적 가능한 전자화폐 시스템의 설계)

  • E-commerce has various advantages such as saving the cost and no constraint on time and space, unlike real-world commerce. On the other hand, e-commerce has some important issues to solve since the commerce is conducted on the cyberspace. The issues are a mutual confidence of parties participating in the commerce as well as a method of payments. On early days, electronic cash was designed using blind digital signature to protect the personal information from being exposed and to provide the perfect anonymity for user. In this paper, a new blind signature scheme based on Feige-Fiat-Shamir digital signature is proposed, which is very efficient compared with the other schemes in terms of the computational complexity. Also, a traceable Electronic Cash System which is based on the proposed blind digital signature is designed, which has a nice feature of identifying the spender in case of using the money illegally.

  • It is very important to detect and remove original sources of various attacks through networks. One of the effective method to detect the sources is traceback systems. In this paper, we design and implement an agent-based traceback system that does not require the reaction of routers and administrators and does not need numerous log data. In the design, we introduce a traceback server and traceback agents in each network Using sniffing and spoofing, the server transmits a packet with a specific message. The agents detect the packet and provide the information for the server to trace back the original source.

  • DLP technology has been effectively enforcing privacy protection policy in on-line computing environment. However, with wide spread use of smart devices and promotion of smart-works, it has been pointed out that DLP technology cannot effectively prevent privacy leakage at smart devices and is comparatively weak at APT attack. In this paper, we suggests a hybrid approach, PPS, which integrates E-DRM system with DLP technology, taking advantages of both technologies. The technology basically uses encryption function and access control of E-DRM system, and thus it can effectively prevent leakage of privacy information of customers, even if the documents are in the hands of malicious third parties.

  • Communication as a process of interpreting signs has always existed in people's life. In post-information society, the communication between a person and a technological system through the specific sign-attaching process becomes widespread. Moreover, it somehow replaces usual communication between people. One of the means of communication in the digital space are video games. They not only play an important role in communication processes, but also are a special case of sign-creating and interpreting. The purpose of the article is to examine video games as a space of sign-based communication between a person and a game as a specific digital system. With the help of general scientific and hermeneutic methodology, the analysis of video games as a post-information society phenomenon which people communicate to has been conducted. The process of semiosis as attaching special meanings to signs has been traced in both manipulating in-game objects and characters and understanding rules of an in-game world.

  • In the discipline of design science, the integration of cognitive, semantic, and affective elements is crucial in the conception and development of a product. Affective components in IT artefacts have attracted researchers' attention, but little attention has been given to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This research was conducted to identify emotions in web-based GIS, and determine design influences on the emotions using Kansei engineering (KE). In the evaluation procedure, ten web-based GIS were used as specimens, and 20 Kansei words were used as emotional descriptors in the Kansei checklist. 50 participants were asked to rate their emotional responses towards the specimens on the Kansei checklist. Principal Component Analysis was used to discover the semantic structure of Kansei, in which dynamism and spaciousness were identified. Significant Kansei concepts were identified using Factor Analysis, in which dynamic & well-organized, refreshing, spacious, professional, and nautical-look were identified. Partial Least Square analysis has assisted the research in discovering the significant design influence to the Kansei. These findings provide designers and other stakeholders with valuable knowledge for strategizing future web-based GIS designs that incorporate user emotions.

  • In today's worldwide environment, information systems (IS) usage is growing swiftly. As a result, it now affects every aspect of life and serves as a general growth tool for individuals, groups, and governments. information system success (ISS) is affected by customer satisfaction and their acceptance of using these services. In addition, this issue will be a critical thing for SMEs, especially in Saudi Arabia. SMEs have a shortage and lack IT experience and resources. The research's question is What are the ISS that will improve customer satisfaction and SME performance in Saudi Arabia. Through an online survey, The data on how Saudi SMEs succeed in IS was acquired. Citizens and residents users in Saudi Arabia, representing a range of ages and educational backgrounds. In the IS success factors evaluation, which assessed the degree of agreeability and disagreeability of specific statements related to the six dimensions based on the empirical data, it was found that the users agreed with the majority of the claims. For users, usability is the most important feature. This study discovered that enhancing the system's overall user experience might lead to higher overall satisfaction.

  • These days, Rehabilitation psychology analysis system is being used by world wide web in everyday's life. And on the other hand, we are facing spam messages' problems. To block these spam message, we are using filtering or pricing systems. But these solutions are raising other problems such as impediment in reception or availability caused by false positive or payment resistance. To solve these problems, we propose an Indirect Model on Message Control System(IMMCS) which controls an unsolicited message and prevents an useful message from discarding. We design and implement the IMMCS to enhance the usefulness and the availability. Being tested the IMMCS to verify the usability and the efficiency, it gave us a very successful result.

Secure Subgroup and Group Communication Service for TETRA System (TETRA 시스템을 위한 안전한 소그룹과 그룹통신 서비스)

  • This paper proposed a model supporting secure mechanism both group communication service and subgroup communication service of TETRA system that the standard developed by the technical committee Radio Equipment and Systems(RES) of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute(ETSI) provides a pure digital information technology for the transmission of speech and data. In each scheme, members in a subgroup maintains its subgroup key, which is not distributed, but computed by each member in the subgroup only with his own secret information and public values and secure subgroup members in a same subgroup can communication securely each other by using their subgroup key. Also, all members in group can share securely a group key. In communication services of TETRA system, this model supports mechanism for both group and subgroup communication are simultaneously needed.

  • It is important to establish the environment for cyber warrior training, testing support and effectiveness analysis in order to cope with sharply increasing cyber threat. However, those practices cannot be easily performed in real world and are followed with many constraints. In this paper, we propose a live/virtual M&S-based system for training/testing and constructive M&S-based system for effectiveness analysis to provide an environment similar to real world. These can be utilized to strengthen the capability to carry out cyber war and analyze the impact of cyber threat under the large-scale networks.

  • In this study, we suggest the selecting evaluation method considering 6 major factors like Compliance system application (Development language conformance, Platform Compliance), threat evaluation (criticality of security incident, possibility of security incident), application benefit (Reliability / quality improvement, Modify Cost) for appropriate secure coding rule selecting evaluation. Using this method, we selected and make a set consist of 197 secure coding rules for Battlefield Management System Software. And calculated the application priority for each rules.
