  • 최근 봇넷은 금전적 이득을 원하는 범죄 집단에 의해 사이버 공격의 수단으로서 크게 확산되고 있다. 봇넷의 탐지는 이전부터 꾸준히 연구되었지만, 구성과 기능이 점차 진화되고 있는 봇넷을 탐지하기에는 큰 어려움이 따르고 있다. 봇넷의 탐지는 호스트 기반의 정적인 악성 코드 분석이나 네트워크 트래픽 분석등 어떠한 특정 시스템에 의존해서는 효율적인 탐지를 기대하기 어렵기 때문에 다양한 정보를 종합하여 탐지하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 알려진 봇넷 정보와 악성 봇 바이너리 분석을 통해 알려진 정보와 네트워크 기반의 탐지 정보를 분석하여 전체적인 봇넷의 구성을 탐지할 수 있는 네트워크 기반의 경량 봇넷 탐지 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 탐지 시스템은 대규모의 네트워크 환경에서도 단편적으로 알려진 봇넷의 부분 정보를 기반으로 전체적인 봇넷의 구성을 탐지할 수 있다.

  • Currently, most companies have security solutions such as firewalls or WAF (Web Application Firewall) for web services, cloud systems, and data centers. Recently, as the need for remote access increases, the task of overcoming the security vulnerabilities of remote access control is becoming more important. In this paper, the concept of the network security model from the perspective of zero trust and the strategy and security system using it will be reviewed.

  • 컴퓨터망 보안을 위해서는 취약점의 빠른 발견과 그에 따르는 신속한 조치가 요구된다. 이를 위해 컴퓨터망 여러 곳에서 사용자가 원하는 보안 정보를 수집, 분석하고 수집된 보안 정보들을 효과적으로 보여주는 통합적인 보안 관리를 제공하는 모니터링 방식이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 보안 관리를 위한 동적 모니터링 형식 모델을 제시한다. 동적 모니터링은 상태 전이에 의한 시스템 상태, 사용자와의 상호작용, 시각 및 모니터링 객체의 동적 활성화를 이용하여 컴퓨터망 통합 보안 관리를 제공한다. 계속적으로 변하는 보안 정보, 컴퓨터망 관리자의 관심점과 모니터링 레벨의 변화를 즉각적으로 반영함으로써 관리자에게 컴퓨터망 관리의 정확성, 효율성 그리고 편의성을 제공한다. 모니터링 시스템을 형식적으로 모델링하여 여러 모니터링 응용프로그램의 개발이 가능한 모니터링 플랫폼으로 발전시킬 수 있다. Abstract It is highly required to quickly detect the vulnerability of a computer network system and an appropriate action toward it should be followed as soon as possible for its security. It leads us to the need of a monitoring schema that can provide an integrated security management with carefully selected and analysed data through the computer network for its users. This paper presents a formal model of dynamic monitoring for security management. It provides the comprehensive security management using continuously changing security information, user interactions and dynamic activation of visual and monitoring objects. It enables system security officers to manage computer systems accurately, efficiently and conveniently by reflecting the state transition and the transformation of concerns and a monitoring level of system security officers immediately. This model can be used as the basis of a monitoring platform.

  • The whole world is anxious that aircraft could be used as a tool for terrorism after 9/11. The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines is again adding to fears about aircraft. Because these aircraft attacks cause many human casualties, the purpose of the study is to analyze the problems in the current air security system and to present alternatives. The methodology of the study used a literature research methodology to review the current status of aircraft terrorism and related regulations, such as current aviation-related laws and anti-terrorism laws, and prior studies. The purpose of the Chapter is to present an aviation security system that promotes the safety of air traffic through the prevention of aircraft terror by presenting the roles and improvement measures of aviation security personnel, foreign police officers, intelligence agencies, and legal blind spots and flaws.

  • With the advancement of internet and mobile communication devices, mobile banking such as internet banking, internet loan and smart phones related to the people's economic activities using mobile communication devices is becoming increasingly more popular. Various security systems to prevent such new crimes are being introduced and the security system market is anticipated to continuously increase substantially in the future. Accordingly, qualitative advancement of the security systems are also in continuous demand. Therefore, this thesis proposes the method and system for quality evaluation of the network access control system by proposing testing and evaluating method for the relevant system through surveying and analyzing the tend in the foundation technologies and standards in the area of network access control system, which is one of the security systems, in order to cope with the demands for the evaluation of the quality of the security system as the security system product market is anticipated to grow continuously.

  • The medical industries are integrated with information technology with mobile devices and wireless communication. The advent of mobile healthcare systems can benefit patients and hospitals, by not only providing better quality of patient care, but also by reducing administrative and medical costs for both patients and hospitals. Security issues present an interesting research topic in wireless and pervasive healthcare networks. As information technology is developed, many organizations such as government agencies, public institutions, and corporations have employed an information system to enhance the efficiency of their work processes. For the past few years, healthcare organizations throughout the world have been adopting health information systems (HIS) based on the wireless network infrastructure. As a part of the wireless network, a mobile agent has been employed at a large scale in hospitals due to its outstanding mobility. Several vulnerabilities and security requirements related to mobile devices should be considered in implementing mobile services in the hospital environment. Secure authentication and protocols with a mobile agent for applying ubiquitous sensor networks in a healthcare system environment is proposed and analyzed in this paper.

  • CC does not Contain detailed instructions about evaluation document. So, we must develop document schema to make CC-based evaluation system. In this report, we developed document schema that can be used in CC-based evaluation system. We devloped document schema and DTD that applying Weakest precondition function, reduction rules about amount of document and dependancy analysis document from assurance class within CC. Approach of this study can be applied to develop document and DTD that can be used in evaluation system of software quality.

  • As cyber attacks become more intelligent, there is difficulty in detecting advanced attacks in various fields such as industry, defense, and medical care. IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), etc., but the need for centralized integrated management of each security system is increasing. In this paper, we collect big data for intrusion detection and build an intrusion detection platform using deep learning and CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks). In this paper, we design an intelligent big data platform that collects data by observing and analyzing user visit logs and linking with big data. We want to collect big data for intrusion detection and build an intrusion detection platform based on CNN model. In this study, we evaluated the performance of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) using the KDD99 dataset developed by DARPA in 1998, and the actual attack categories were tested with KDD99's DoS, U2R, and R2L using four probing methods.

  • With the rapid adaption of the network technologies, there has been in continual troubles with network attacking and computer virus which are getting more automatic and intelligent. To solve them, we survey the existing and currently used security solutions, describe the architecture of traditional network management, and propose the model of a MIB-based security management system which has dedicated management information base on each security solution.

Implementation of Telebiometrics Application System Using Mobile Device

  • Today, with the wide use of mobile devices, the amount of business transactions conducted through such devices is increasing drastically. However, there are several limitations in the area of authentication for mobile use, which requires strong authentication mechanisms to satisfy security and convenience requirements. The proposed model and application system provide a framework to ensure the security and reliability of the flow of biometric information for telebiometric applications using mobile devices. We also specify protocols for each model and implement a mobile telebiometric application to improve security vulnerabilities compared to storage in a microSD match on card (MOC) based on the proposed model. As a consequence of this implementation, we propose substantial guidelines for security countermeasures from both technical and managerial perspectives in order to establish a safe mobile environment for the use of telebiometric systems.
