This paper proposes a privacy-preserving database encryption scheme that provides access pattern hiding against a service provider. The proposed scheme uses a session key to permute indices of database records each time they are accessed. The proposed scheme can achieve access pattern hiding in situations in which an adversary cannot access the inside of the database directly, by separating the entity with an index table and data table and permuting both the index and position where the data are stored. Moreover, it is very efficient since only O(1) server computation and communication cost are required in terms of the number of the data stored. It can be applied to cloud computing, where the intermediate entities such as cloud computing service provider can violate the privacy of users or patients.

The development of POS (Point of Sales) systems for small retailers according to their needs is considered to be important to improve their competitive advantages. However, their financial statuses hinder the adoption of the tailored POS systems. Viewing ASP as a viable solution to provide tailored POS systems for the small retailers, this study develops ASP POS service models for the small retailers. First, this study elicits ASP POS requirements of the small retailers in the following areas: merchandising, pricing, store design and display, customer service, advertising and promotion and personal selling. Then, the requirements are clustered and the clusters are analyzed based on the characteristics of the retailers. Then, ASP service models are proposed according to the needs and profiles of the retailers.

Under rapidly changing business surrounding, companies need information systems to keep their competitive powers and forecast business surroundings beforehand. In these trends, interests of ASP (Application Service Provider) service is increasing because of the advantage for efficiency to maintain a system and an inexpensive investment to build a system, and this service is rapidly spreading to many parts from simple functions to ERP system. In this research, we argue about these problems and about administrative framework technology for efficient ASP service of ERP system.

Two multicast delivery schemes are proposed to minimize the packet loss that occurs in the mobile multicast (MoM) protocol due to the handoff and relocation. The proposed schemes use a primary designated multicast service provider (DMSP) and a redundant or non-redundant backup DMSP. The simulation results verify that the proposed schemes greatly reduce the packet loss rate at the expense of the increased network traffic or the extra protocol overhead related to the operation of the non-redundant backup DMSP.

Premium Service is the next service to be developed after the Freephone Service and Credit Call Service which has currently been developed and is being now tested. Premium Service is a service which provide information on a telephone line. The calls are charged with a special rate which includes service and call charge. Public telecommunication operator performs charging and accounting from the service user for the service provider and for every service provided subtracts the commission from the part of service revenue and gives the rest back to the service provider. This paper is about the study on the implementation of the Premium Service in the Service Switching Point.

CITIS(Contractor Integrated Technical Information Service) is a service standard which specifies guidelines which are required for the fulfillment of a contract between a purchaser and a supplier. It was initiated as a military standard and is now becoming a commercial standard. In this paper, we propose how the guidelines, which were usually developed by Client/Server methods in previous works, can be implemented in WWW environments, and show a prototype which can be used for the confirmation of CAD drawings between contractors(purchaser and provider). We have a hope our study can provide a small foundation for the building of CITIS references.

WWW(World Wide Web)의 비약적인 성장과 더불어 각종 인터넷 서비스 공급자(ISP, Internet Service Provider)의 기능과 역학이 크게 부각되고 있다. WWW을 인터페이스로 사용하는 대화형 지능시스템은 사용자와 대화를 통하여 보다 정확히 사용자의 요구를 인식할 수 있으며, 특히 전문가시스템은 사용자에게 일선의 전문기와 같은 양질의 정보를 공급할 수 있다. 본 연구는 WWW를 사용자 인터페이스로 사용하는 기존의 지능시스템이 가지고 있는 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 개발 환경에 독립되고, 클라이언트의 부담을 최소로 하며, 텍스트 기반의 통신을 지원하는 대화형 지능시스템 사용자 인터페이스를 제안한다.

본 논문은 대용량 통신처리 시스템의 프레임 릴레이망 접속을 통한 인터넷 접속 서비스 기능을 제공하는 프레임 릴레이망 정합 서브 시스템(FNAS : Frame relay Network Access Subsystem)의 설계구조 및 구현사항에 대하여 기술한다. 프레임 릴레이망 정합 서브 시스템은 대용량 통신처리 시스템에 연결되어 전화망(PSTN) 또는 종합 정보통신망(ISDN) 사용자 단말기에 PPP접속기능을 제공하여 프레임 릴레이망에 접속되어 있는 ISP나 CP의 접속을 통한 인터넷 접속 서비스를 제공하거나 정보 제공자(Information Provider)의 DB를 검색하도록 개발하였다.

According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. We wish to develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server(CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval component which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that. So, we wish to develop web retrieval agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.
