  • In China, Weibo is one of the social platforms with more users. It has the characteristics of fast information transmission and wide coverage. People can comment on a certain event on Weibo to express their emotions and attitudes. Judging the emotional tendency of users' comments is not only beneficial to the monitoring of the management department, but also has very high application value for rumor suppression, public opinion guidance, and marketing. This paper proposes a two-input Adaboost model based on TextCNN and BiLSTM. Use the TextCNN model that can perform local feature extraction and the BiLSTM model that can perform global feature extraction to process comment data in parallel. Finally, the classification results of the two models are fused through the improved Adaboost algorithm to improve the accuracy of text classification.

  • The era of the fourth industrial revolution, which will bring about a great wave of change in the 21st century, is the age of super-connection that links humans to humans, objects to objects, and humans to objects. In the smart city and the smart space which are evolving further, emotional engineering is a field of interdisciplinary researches that still attract attention with the development of technology. This paper proposes an emotional object prototype as a possibility of emotional interaction in the relation between human and object. By suggesting emotional objects that produce color changes and movements through the emotional interactions between humans and objects against the current social issue-loneliness of modern people, we have approached the influence of our lives in the relation with objects. It is expected that emotional objects that are approached from the fundamental view will be able to be in our lives as a viable cultural intermediary in our future living space.

  • In this paper, we proposed using MFCC coefficients(Mel-Scaled Cepstral Coefficients) and a simple but efficient classifying method. Many other features: IAV, zero crossing, LPCC, $\ldot$ and their derivatives are also tested and compared with MFCC coefficients in order to find the best combination. GMM and HMM (Discrete and Continuous Hidden Markov Model), are studied as well in the hope that the use of continuous distribution and the temporal evolution of this set of features will improve the quality of emotion recognition.

  • An experiment was carried out to evaluate the emotion and sensibility evoked from the different color temperatures(CCT) of electrodeless HID (ELHID) lamp. For this purpose, three ELHID lamps and a metal halide lamp were used as the experimental light sources and thirty Korean adjectives related to the lighting affectiveness were selected for the evaluation. The results showed that ELHID lamps induced different sensibilities according to their color temperature. In particular, 6500 K ELHID was similar to metal halide which has the CCT of 5600 K in the evaluation. Based on the results, we suggested some Korean adjectives and their corresponding English ones which are thought to be suitable for the verbal descriptions of ELHID lamps.

  • Background: The importance of cervical screening has been addressed in numerous studies. However, reviews conducted to explore of strategies to promoting attendance for cervical screening have been limited. This study aimed to explore strategies to promote attendance for cervical screening. Materials and Methods: A literature search from databases (1994-2011) was undertaken to include papers that identified strategies related to the cervical screening. Results: Twenty-four papers were included in this review. The review of existing strategies identified valuable information on cervical screening and areas that could be improved in meeting womens' needs. Conclusions: The review highlighted important aspects of cervical screening that could be further addressed by promoting strategies to attendance. Assessing women's health beliefs, inpatient cervical cancer screening, nurse-led screening, and cognition-emotion focused programs are among the strategies to promote attendance for pap smear testing.

  • The sign-language can be used as an auxiliary communication means between avatars of different languages in cyberspace. At that time, an intelligent communication method can also be utilized to achieve real-time communication, where intelligently coded data (joint angles for arm gestures and action units for facial emotions) are transmitted instead of real pictures. In this paper, a method of generating the facial gesture CG animation on different avatar models is provided. At first, to edit emotional expressions efficiently, a comic-style facial model having only eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth is employed. Then generation of facial emotion animation with the parameters is also investigated. Experimental results show a possibility that the method could be used for the intelligent avatar communications between Korean and Japanese.
