This study focus on the effect of switching barrier on negative performance. To suggest the negative effect of switching barrier, we reviewed the researches on service-failure and attribution theory. The model which we present in the research study includes the antecedents and consequences of negative emotions(regret, resentment) that caused by switching barriers. The former factors consist of internal attribution and external attribution. The latter factors consist of acceptance, complain, negative word-of-mouth. Survey research is employed to test these hypotheses. Previous researches, such as service marketing, psychology, have been referenced to measure constructs. We collected data involving various service area, and used 189 respondents to analyze these data with LISREL structural modeling. The hypothesized relationships were statistically significant. Internal attribution had positive effect on regret and external attribution had positive effects on resentment. And then regret had significant effects on acceptance and complain behaviour. Also resentment strongly effects on complain behaviour and negative word-of-mouth. We concluded with managerial implications, including the potential to deeper understanding switching barrier.

This paper analyzes the phenomenon of drain induced barrier lowering(DIBL) for doping profiles in channel of asymmetric double gate(DG) MOSFET. The DIBL, the important short channel effect, is described as lowering of source barrier height by drain voltage. The analytical potential distribution is derived from Poisson's equation to analyze the DIBL, and the DIBL is observed according to the change of doping profile to influence on potential distribution. As a results, the DIBL is significantly influenced by projected range and standard projected deviation, the variables of channel doping profiles. The change of DIBL shows greatly in the range of high doping concentration such as $10^{18}/cm^3$. The DIBL increases with decrease of channel length and increase of channel thickness, and with increase of bottom gate voltage and top/bottom gate oxide film thickness.

The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of creating barrier-free exhibition-appreciation environment based on the visually impaired person's perspectives. Participants were selected by the purposeful sampling method. Researchers conducted a couple of in-depth interviews with four visually impaired persons. Yin's case study method was employed to analyze qualitative information. The analysis revealed nine sub-themes in two sections: three from 'accessibility within the exhibition room'; and six from 'demand for immersive exhibition environment.' Based on the results, following suggestions were presented: First, we need to provide quality information appropriate for artworks-appreciation; secondly, to ensure the visually impaired people to appreciate the culture and arts without any barrier, we need to extend certification of barrier-free living environment to exhibition-appreciation area. Finally, to facilitate these two tasks we need to encourage the convergence research among science and technology, humanities and society, and culture and arts.

This paper propose how to track the position of the observer to control the viewing zone using an adaptive parallax barrier. The pose is estimated using a Constrained Local Model based on the shape model and Landmark for robust eye-distance measurement in the face pose. Camera's correlation converts distance and horizontal location to centimeter. The pixel pitch of the adaptive parallax barrier is adjusted according to the position of the observer's eyes, and the barrier is moved to adjust the viewing area. This paper propose a method for tracking the observer in the range of 60cm to 490cm, and measure the error, measurable range, and fps according to the resolution of the camera image. As a result, the observer can be measured within the absolute error range of 3.1642cm on average, and it was able to measure about 278cm at 320×240, about 488cm at 640×480, and about 493cm at 1280×960 depending on the resolution of the image.

Transmittance and resistivity is investigated according to bending of ITO (indium tin oxide)film with four other multi-barrier film. Transmission data of ITO film with four ITO films showed there was about large 90% transmission above 550 nm wavelength at three multi-barrier structures. But, both -side hard coated structure showed relatively low 75% transmission above 550 nm wavelength. Also, resistivity change of four other multi-barrier film showed there was the lowest change at oneside hard coated structure. Subsequently, with result of resistivity change according to position, it was known the resistivity change of the center increased rapidly than that of the edge.

Past studies in e-commerce loyalty were mostly focused on the effects of customer satisfaction and trust on loyalty toward online vendors. Few studies investigated the impacts of switching barriers, whilst they are widely proven to affect customer loyalty in offline commerce. Even in a handful of studies that did deal with switching barriers, their treatment of the subject remained at best superficial. This may have to do with the fact that switching costs in e-commerce could be comparatively negligible, as switching to another online vendor often involves one simple mouse click. In this study, we investigated the impact of switching barriers on loyalty under the e-commerce context. Furthermore, the extent of switching barriers which could be affected by those positive factors (most constructs were adopted from IDT) was also examined. The statistical testing results revealed that combined model which includes both the positive factors and the switching barriers explains the loyalty formation process more strongly ($R^2$ = 0.543) than each separated models ($R^2$ = 0.468 for positive factor only model, and $R^2$ = 0.365 for switching barrier only model). While only the two switching barriers such as convenience and emotional were shown to be statistically significant, we found that trust strongly influences customer's emotional barrier, let alone direct impact on loyalty, which thereby influences loyalty. The results offer insights for better understanding switching barriers in e-commerce related applications.

We studied the Drain-Induced-Barrier-Lowering (DIBL) effect by different drain engineering. One other drain engineering is symmetric source-drain n-channel MOSFETs (SSD NMOSs), the other drain engineering is asymmetric source-drain n-channel MOSFETs (ASD NMOSs). Devices were fabricated using state of art 40 nm dynamic-random-access-memory (DRAM) technology. These devices have different modes which are deep drain junction mode in SSD NMOSs and shallow drain junction mode in ASD NMOSs. The shallow drain junction mode means that drain is only Lightly-Doped-Drain (LDD). The deep drain junction mode means that drain have same process with source. The threshold voltage gap between low drain voltage ($V_D$=0.05V) and high drain voltage ($V_D$=3V) is 0.088V in shallow drain junction mode and 0.615V in deep drain junction mode at $0.16{\mu}m$ of gate length. The DIBL coefficients are 26.5 mV/V in shallow drain junction mode and 205.7 mV/V in deep drain junction mode. These experimental results present that DIBL effect is higher in deep drain junction mode than shallow drain junction mode. These results are caused that ASD NMOSs have low drain doping level and low lateral electric field.
The dredged sediment management system was developed to have an objective, quantitative and scientific decision for the optimum removal time of dredged sediments behind debris barrier and was set up at the real site. The dredged sediment management system is designed and developed to directly measure the dredged sediments behind debris barrier in the field. This management system is composed of Data Acquisition System (DAS), Solar System and measurement units for measuring the weight of dredge sediments. The weight of dredged sediments, the water level and the rainfall are measured in real time using the monitoring sensors, and their data can be transmitted to the office through a wireless communication method. The monitoring sensors are composed of the rain gauge to measure rainfall, the load cell system to measure the weight of dredged sediments, and water level meter to measure the water level behind debris barrier. The management criteria of dredged sediments behind debris barrier was suggested by using the weight of dredged sediments. At first, the maximum weight of dredged sediments that could be deposited behind debris barrier was estimated. And then when 50%, 70% and 90% of the maximum dredged sediments weight were accumulated behind debris barrier, the management criteria were divided into phases of Outlooks, Watch and Warning, respectively. The weight of dredged sediments can be monitored by using the dredged sediment management system behind debris barrier in real time, and the condition of debris barrier and the removal time of dredged sediments can be decided based on monitoring results.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the barriers and the solutions of the older adults' online information activities. The barriers were categorized into 8 and the solutions into 9 based on the literature review. It revealed that the lack of information devices use skill was the most serious barrier in their online information activities, and the results were different according to gender, academic careers, and residential area.; the improvement of information device environment was the most important solution to resolve the barrier, and different according to academic careers, economic status, and residential area contrary to the barrier. To get rid of the digital devide according to socioeconomic variables, a customized education of information literacy and an elderly-oriented information devices are necessary to resolve the barriers.

The study aimed at identifying the causes of the high level of health application but the low level of use. In other words, the effects of user's innovation resistance (use barrier, value barrier, risk barrier, traditional barrier, image barrier, etc.) were examined. For this study, 378 valid responses were collected by conducting surveys with college students. Findings indicated the higher the level of image barrier of the user, the higher the degree of innovation resistance for the health application, and the higher the degree of innovation resistance, the lower intention of continuous use and recommendation. In addition, the level of use barriers, value barriers and traditional barriers did not have a significant effect on the degree of innovation resistance, suggesting that users familiar with smartphones have low resistance to health applications. The study deepens the theoretical discussion about the adoption and continuous use of new technologies by explaining the use of health applications in the theory of innovation resistance. The findings of the study provide the practical implications that lowering the image barriers rather than the usage barriers, value barriers and traditional barriers will be effective for the adoption and continuous use of health applications.
