  • This paper is to find out and analyse the factors of customer satisfaction as the critical success factors of internet banking. The research model with the factors influencing customer satisfaction is suggested. The result of this research are summarized as follows: First, perceived easy of use, perceived usefulness, perceived safety, and perceived responsibility have significantly positive influence on customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction has significantly positive influence on intention of reuse and canvass. These research findings suggest the clue about making internet banking successful.

  • This study is purposed to make sure of the Effects of Hotel Brand Equity on Enterprise Trust and Customer Citizenship Behavior. For this study, the effects of Hotel Brand Equity on Enterprise, the effects of Hotel Brand Equity on Customer Citizenship Behavior and the effects of Enterprise Trust on Customer Citizenship Behavior were analyzed statically by the method of multiple regression analysis. Hotel Brand Equity consists of 3 elements(Perceived Service Quality, Brand Image, Brand Awareness), Enterprise Trust is made of 2 elements(Enterprise Ability, Enterprise Sincerity) and Customer Citizenship Behavior has 2 element(Guest Preference, Guest Helping). As a result, three things have been found. First, Perceived Service Quality has a positive influence on both of Enterprise Trust and Customer Citizenship Behavior which means that Perceived Service Quality is the most essential element for hotel marketing performance. Second, Brand Image has a positive influence partly on Enterprise Trust, that is, only on Enterprise Ability, not Enterprise Sincerity and also on both Guest Preference and Guest Helping whereas Brand Awareness has a positive influence on both of Enterprise Ability and Sincerity but it has no influence on Customer Citizenship Behavior. Third, Enterprise Sincerity has a positive influence on both of two elements in Customer Citizenship Behavior whereas Enterprise Ability has a positive influence on only Guest Helping.

Analysis of the Factors Affecting Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty in a Family Restaurant Chain (체인 패밀리 레스토랑의 고객 만족 및 고객 충성도에 미치는 요인 분석)

  • Purpose - When it comes to first impressions of family restaurants, people basically think of the following factors: cozy, a refreshing space, indoor lighting, atmospheric music, the best-quality service through mutual interactions with employees, birthday events, follow-up customer management, brand image, and many others. Focusing on such family restaurants characteristics, with consumption experience and customer satisfaction determined as mediator variables, this study looks into the selection factors that affect customer loyalty when choosing a family restaurant. Subsequently, the study conducts an empirical analysis of these selection factors with the greatest influence. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzed 200 total surveys of family restaurant customers including college students, workers, housewives, and others. The survey was conducted over two weeks in May 2014. For statistical processing, SPSS 21 was used for factor analysis and reliability analysis as well as AMOS for structural equation analysis. In terms of a variable that would influence either consumption experience or customer satisfaction at the restaurants, the study introduced the concept of customer equity. The study designed a model based on a hypothesis developed using the following factors: customer encounter service value, customer convenience value, brand equity, relationship equity, and other factors defined as components of customer equity by Rust et al. (2000) determined as independent variables as well as with customer experience and customer satisfaction set as mediator variables. The hypothesis, after all, assumed that customer loyalty would be positively (+) influenced. Results - The analysis results from the study reported that brand value, customer encounter service value, and relationship value have positive (+) effects on consumption experience and customer satisfaction. However, as for customer convenience value, this turned out not to have a statistically significant influence on consumption experience and customer satisfaction. In regard to a relation between consumption experience and customer satisfaction, the results showed that the former affects the latter, and in terms of intervening variables, both of these appeared to have a positive (+) effect on customer loyalty. Conclusions - This study suggests that family restaurants should look for strategies that focus on how to promote customer relationships. For example, restaurants could try birthday events or discount events to achieve this goal. Since the study ended up realizing relatively low levels of suitability and statistical significance, the path of the study changed. After all, in order to increase suitability and statistical significance, the study had to eliminate factors such as service quality and others and for this reason the study was unable to conduct the analysis as initially planned. In addition, the data samples of the research were mainly gathered from students, which made it hard to say that the analysis was carried out on samples from every different group. Future research should analyze the characteristics of each group of customers for factors affecting customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in the family restaurant chain.

A Study of the Relationship between the Outbound Call Center Service Quality and Service Recovery Customer Royalty (아웃바운드 콜센터 서비스품질과 서비스회복 고객충성도 관계 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to find out the service quality dimensions and detailed elements of a call center, and to study what relationship the service quality dimensions have with service recovery and customer royalty. This research set up the hypothesis and the research model to verify the relationship between the call center service quality and the service quality customer royalty for 139 people surveyed who experienced dissatisfactions. The result of the hypothesis verification shows that it has an influence on the counselors' service quality and service recovery processes of 3 call centers. The service recovery has en influence on the customer royalty. The result quality as a result remained for a customer after counseling can be called the ultimate purpose of using the call center for a customer, and the research shows that it has the largest influence on the service recovery of 3 dimensions of the call center service quality. In the relationship between the service recovery and the customer royalty, the service recovery has a meaningful influence on the customer royalty.

  • Service industry can be divided largely into commercial industry, banking industry, insurance industry, advertising industry, and tourism industry. Of these, banking industry is playing an essential role as it constitutes the backbone of economy. Banking industry, which belongs to financial industry, is sensitive to external environment. In this kind of industry, internal dynamics of an organization is very important. The purpose of this research is to find out what kind of influence the relation of internal dynamics perceived by members of Nonghyup organization has on customer orientation via quality of internal service. For the purpose, we have reviewed preceding studies on variables that affect customer orientation and developed a measuring tool in a form that fits banking organizations. Internal service quality, job satisfaction, and organizational immersion which play a mediating role in the model of this research not only turned out to have a significant influence on customer orientation, they also turned out to have the strongest influence. This research has academic significance as it carried out a research with an emphasis on variables that affect customer orientation of members of Nonghyup organization. Regarding practical significance, it was intended to present useful data that can be utilized for an analysis of internal service quality management and capability of human resource management.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the factors of customer satisfaction as the critical success factors of mobile banking. Based on previous exploratory work and a review of the literature of customer satisfaction, nine key factors are identified: perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use, perceived ubiquity, perceived safety, perceived tangibles, perceived reliability, perceived responsiveness, perceived assurance, and perceived empathy. A conceptual model is developed and hypotheses are empirically examined using multiple regression analysis. The result of this research are summarized as follows: First, perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use, perceived safety, and perceived empathy have significant influence on customer satisfaction. Second, customer satisfaction has significant influence on reuse intention and word-of-mouth intention.

The Influences of Service Quality, Product Quality and Pricein University Foodservice on Customer Satisfaction (대학교 학생 식당의 서비스 품질, 메뉴 품질, 가격이 고객 만족에 미치는 영향 - 부산 지역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to elucidate the relationship of service quality, product quality, price and customer satisfaction. Data were collected from 214 customers at the university foodservice and analyzed with SPSS 14.0. The verified results in these research hypotheses are as follows. First, the relationship between the service quality and customer satisfaction shows that tangibles(t=2.444) and responsiveness(t=2.431) have significantly positive influence upon customer satisfaction. Second, it was indicated that product quality(t=12.711) also has significantly positive influence upon customer satisfaction. Third, price (t=0.051) has no positive effect on customer satisfaction. Managerial contributions, limitation, and future research directions are discussed at the end of the paper.

A Study on Influence of Family Restaurant Image on Satisfaction, Trust and Revisit Intention (패밀리 레스토랑의 이미지가 만족, 신뢰 및 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study conducted to analyze the causal relationships among image factors (brand, store, enterprise) of family restaurants, customer satisfaction, customer trust, and revisit intention as perceived by 271 customers, who have visited a family restaurant located in Ulsan and Busan regions. Present study performed frequency analysis, factor analysis, customer trust analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple (simple) regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 statistical program. The analysis results indicated that the image of family restaurants had significant positive (+) influences on customer satisfaction, customer trust, and revisit intention, among which the biggest influential factor was found to be the store factor. Significant influence was shown for brand image followed by corporate image. In addition, customer satisfaction and customer trust had significant positive (+) influences on revisit intention. As a result of this study, store image among family restaurant images appeared as the most important element; hereupon, this study considers that it is necessary for a family restaurant to build a differentiated image to increase revisit intention by satisfying customer needs and by encouraging customers to have trust in the restaurant.

  • This paper aims to examine the main factors that influence the adoption of Islamic banking services in Indonesia. This research collects primary data by distributing questionnaires to 550 respondents in 29 provinces in Indonesia. A total of 550 questionnaires were returned comprising 34.2 percent male respondents and 65.8 percent female respondents. Most of the respondents were in the age group of 21-30 years with the highest level of education being high school. Most of the respondents were working in private firms, with a monthly expenditure of IDR 2,500,000. The independent variables in this study are bank reputation, perceived complexity, perceived compatibility, perceived risk, relative advantage, religiosity, and social influence. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is customer interest in adopting Islamic banking services. The result of this study indicates that awareness and perceived compatibility have a positive effect on customer intention to adopt Islamic banking services. Likewise, religiosity and social influence also have a significant and positive effect on customer intention to adopt Islamic banking services. Meanwhile, bank reputation and perceived complexity have no effect on customer intention to adopt Islamic banking services. Lastly, perceived risk has a negative and significant effect on customer intention of adopting Islamic banking services in Indonesia.

  • This study reveals how corporate CRM activities can influence organizational performance by integrating CRM process with customer equity drivers, which have been regarded as independent research areas. The results show that the customer equity drivers including value, brand, and relationship equity mediate between CRM processes and organizational performance. In more detail, customer acquisition, retention, and expansion have positive relationships with brand, relationship, and value equity, respectively. Moreover, even though all customer equity drivers influence organizational performance positively, our analysis suggests that relationship equity has the strongest effect on it.
