  • In this paper, the research trend and the sate-of-the-art of low cost motor drives are introduced with the recently increasing interest In various industrial applications, such as home appliance, hybrid electric vehicles, wind power systems, fuel cell systems, and etc. Based on this presented work, it is highly expected the power electronics technologies, which are accumulated through the last 20 years, can be effectively applied to actual application fields.

  • Logistics systems can be evaluated by how productively distribution center operates, how promptly transportation vehicle dispatches, how efficiently facility layout is, and so on. In this paper, a practical vehicle routing scheme with fixed delivery time and fixed vehicle routes is introduced. The method helps the distribution center reduce logistics cost with respect to dispatching vehicles, and satisfy the customer with pre-determined delivery time window constraints. A case study has shown that the proposed scheme not only generates a feasible schedule with time windows, but also balances material flow in warehouse.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 출시되어 있는 소프트타입의 현대 아반테 하이브리드자동차와 하드타입 방식의 도요다 프리우스 자동차를 대상으로 차대 동력계상에서 CVS-75 모드를 주행하면서 발생하는 배출가스특성과 연비특성을 실험적으로 분석하였다. 가솔린 차량에 비해 하이브리드 차량의 연비 및 배출가스 특성이 탁월하였으며 특히, 하드타입의 하이브리드 차량이 소프트타입의 차량에 비해 연비개선효과가 우수하게 나타났다.

  • As the logistics industrial environment becomes more complex and its scale becomes increase, the vehicle fleet scheduling system has become recognized the necessity as a major strategy in the logistics field. The vehicle fleet scheduling system is computerized package that find the vehicle routes and schedules to accomplish the required service to customers using vehicles. This paper introduces the state of the art of vehicle fleet scheduling system in Korea and foreign country and the future research subject are presented.

  • This paper describes system and its algorithm which can measure traffic flow on the road by using industrial television applied in industry. This algorithm is using the real-time processing of dynamic scenes. The processing algorithm of dynamic scenes is developed and proved its validity by designing VISC (Video Information Sampler and Converter). The accuracy of this algorithm is enhanced by allocating sampling points in cross-direction of the vehicles.

  • 차량을 USN/RFID 시스템과 결합함으로 차량에 대한 관리를 함으로서 사용자 입장에서 좀 더 편리한 서비스를 제공 받을 수 있다. 현재는 차량에 RIFD 태그를 부착하여 통행료 결제나 주차 관리 등 부분적으로 응용하고 있지만, 이를 차량에 관련된 모든 부분에 적용하여 차량 통합 관리 시스템을 만들고자 한다. 허나 차량 통합 관리 시스템은 사용자들의 차량을 대상으로 RFID 태그를 이용한 정보 관리 서비스이므로 필연적인 개인 프라이버시 침해 문제가 발생 할 수 있어 이에 대한 해결책이 반드시 필요하므로 해결방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • Recently, the microprocessor with network function based control system instead of conventional microprocessor is widely used for industrial applications, and also these technologies are widely adopted for train control and monitoring in modem rapid transit system. The purpose of this paper is to propose a criteria for data transmission, which was designed and realized through Korea High Speed Train. Noise, distortion and attenuation are always present in data transmission system and strictly limit performance. This paper describes a method to calculate the propagation constant, attenuation constant, phase velocity and length of stub.

  • Ceramics are becoming one of the most important materials due to its good mechanical properties such as high strength, hardness, chemical safety, and high modulus of elasticity. Ceramics have been used widely as a material not only for construction, but also for vehicles, planes, and bones for the human body. Despite these advantages, ceramics have some limitations in actual use due to its brittle fracture characteristic. In order to develop ceramic belt in this study, the data regarding stiffness and strain is necessary. For this purpose, the sensitivities of maximum stress value and displacement are analyzed by applying the load change on ceramic belt with finite element method program.

CNG/LPG Bi-fuel 승용차의 배출가스 특성 (Exhaust Emissions Characteristics of Bi-fuel CNG/LPG Passenger Cars)

  • Compressed natural gas (CNG) is well known as one of the cleanest burning alternative fuels. Bi-fuel CNG vehicle can also run on gasoline or another fuel while dedicated natural gas vehicle is designed to run on natural gas only. Recently, increased attention has been focused on bi-fuel CNG/LPG taxi because of good fuel economy of CNG. A number of LPG taxis modified to CNG Bi-fuel vehicles are running in many cities. In this paper, the emissions characteristics of in-use passenger cars running on CNG and LPG were investigated. Chassis dynamometer test was used to measure exhaust emissions from an in-use fleet of 5 cars. Exhaust emissions were collected for CVS-75 driving mode. The test results showed that for CNG fuel mode, CO, $CO_2$ and NMHC emissions decreased to 9%, 12% and 14% respectively, and $CH_4$ and $NO_x$ emissions increased to 317% and 47% respectively.

동적 차량경로 문제에 대한 분산 알고리즘 (A Decentralized Coordination Algorithm for a Highly Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem)

  • The Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem (DVRP) involves a combinatorial optimization problem where new customer demands become known over time, and old routes must be reconfigured to generate new routes while executing the current solution. We consider the high level of dynamism problem. An application of highly dynamic DVRP is the ambulance service where a patient contacts the service center, followed by an evaluation of case severity, and a visit by a practitioner/ ambulance is scheduled accordingly. This paper considers a variant of the DVRP and proposes a decentralized algorithm in which collaborators (Depot and Vehicle), both have only partial information about the entire system. The DVRP is modeled as a periodic re optimization of VRP using the proposed decentralized algorithm where collaborators exchange local information to achieve the best global objective for the current state of the system. We assume the existence of a dispatcher e.g., headquarter of the company who can communicate to vehicles in order to gather information and assigns the new visits to them. The effectiveness of the proposed decentralized coordination algorithm is further evaluated using benchmark data given in literature. The results show that the proposed method performed better than the compared algorithms which utilize the centralized coordination in 12 out of 21 benchmark problems.
