Integration of Manufacture and Commerce for a Product Learning System in the Service Industry

  • Purpose - The purpose of this thesis is to assess the product design digital learning status of universities that are currently involved in learning environment projects in manufacture and commerce integration (MCI). Thus, enterprises must keep learning and creating new inventions with revolutionary progress. Research design, data, and methodology - This study not only emphasizes the analysis of technical ability, course concepts, conducting models, and learning environments of every aspect, but also systematically probes the planning of learning, system framework, web learning, environmental activities, data statistics, and digitalized learning, among other aspects. Results - The results of this study help in finally understanding each school's manufacture and commerce integration situation, in order to evaluate product design learning. Consequently, it is essential to evaluate computer learning at schools, thereby affecting communication and the requirements of business education training. Conclusions - It is essential to focus on MCI to promote web teaching to preserve and enhance knowledge disseminating technologies, and immediately share knowledge with learners, while improving work efficiency and cultivating the talent needed by industry.

  • 현재 우리나라의 경제 환경을 볼 때, 외부적으로는 석유를 비롯한 원자재 가격이 급등, 미국과 일본이 경제둔화, 거대 경제국가인 중국이 경제성장을 조정하고 있다. 국내에서는 수출증가에도 불구하고 기업들의 설비투자 부진, 실업률 상승 및 내수시장 침체 등으로 경제적 회복이 지연되고 있는 매우 어려운 상태에 직면해 있다. 이와 같이 급격하게 변화하는 경영 환경에서 생존하기 위해서는 인적자원 재개발 및 학습능력의 배양이 어느 때보다 중요하게 부각되고 있다. 인적자원의 능력을 파악하여 인원 선발이나 적재적소에 배치한다면 그 보다 더 나은 조직은 없을 것이다. 역동적 경영 환경 내에서 성공을 추구하는 각 기업은 끊임없는 변화에 적극 대응하여 새로운 변화를 창출해 나가는 인적자원의 능력배양을 기업성공의 중요한 요소로 보고 있다. 따라서 역동적 변화 속에 있는 기업은 변화에 효과적 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 유연한 조직을 개발하여 고객만족 극대화, 종업원 만족 극대화, 인적자원 활용 극대화를 통하여 기업경쟁력 향상을 이룩할 수 있어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 기업 중 4조 2교대 근무 시스템을 도입하여 지식 근로자를 양성함으로써 큰 성공을 거둔 유한킴벌리의 고성과 근무 시스템의 도입부터 적용, 적용에 따른 성과까지의 전 과정을 심층 연구하여 이 시스템이 기업의 경쟁력을 향상 시키는 중요한 도구로 사용 된 수 있도록 연구 하고자 한다.

A Development of LDA Topic Association Systems Based on Spark-Hadoop Framework

  • Social data such as users' comments are unstructured in nature and up-to-date technologies for analyzing such data are constrained by the available storage space and processing time when fast storing and processing is required. On the other hand, it is even difficult in using a huge amount of dynamically generated social data to analyze the user features in a high speed. To solve this problem, we design and implement a topic association analysis system based on the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) model. The LDA does not require the training process and thus can analyze the social users' hourly interests on different topics in an easy way. The proposed system is constructed based on the Spark framework that is located on top of Hadoop cluster. It is advantageous of high-speed processing owing to that minimized access to hard disk is required and all the intermediately generated data are processed in the main memory. In the performance evaluation, it requires about 5 hours to analyze the topics for about 1 TB test social data (SNS comments). Moreover, through analyzing the association among topics, we can track the hourly change of social users' interests on different topics.

Modern Cause and Effect Model by Factors of Root Cause for Accident Prevention in Small to Medium Sized Enterprises

  • Background: Factors related to root causes can cause commonly occurring accidents such as falls, slips, and jammed injuries. An important means of reducing the frequency of occupational accidents in small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMSEs) of South Korea is to perform intensity analysis of the root cause factors for accident prevention in the cause and effect model like decision models, epidemiological models, system models, human factors models, LCU (life change unit) models, and the domino theory. Especially intensity analysis in a robot system and smart technology as Industry 4.0 is very important in order to minimize the occupational accidents and fatal accident because of the complexity of accident factors. Methods: We have developed the modern cause and effect model that includes factors of root cause through statistical testing to minimize commonly occurring accidents and fatal accidents in SMSEs of South Korea and systematically proposed educational policies for accident prevention. Results: As a result, the consciousness factors among factors of root cause such as unconsciousness, disregard, ignorance, recklessness, and misjudgment had strong relationships with occupational accidents in South Korean SMSEs. Conclusion: We conclude that the educational policies necessary for minimizing these consciousness factors include continuous training procedures followed by periodic hands-on experience, along with perceptual and cognitive education related to occupational health and safety.

  • For smart defense innovation, the key is to apply state-of-the-art technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to national defense. In order to apply state-of-the-art technology to the defense sector, we need to apply and develop technologies to analyze and respond to uncertain future operational environments. To this end, our military is investing a lot of time and effort. To understand future operational environment analysis and to apply and develop our military, we explored the perspectives of operational environment analysis in major countries and studied specific cases of U.S. troops with systematic analysis functions. The U.S. Army has established a cooperative system to analyze future operational environment under the leadership of the Education Command and operates the organization organically. It also utilizes the collective intelligence of expert groups in various fields by utilizing the MSC, and it is time for the Korean military to take the lead in keeping with the era of transformation. To that end, the organization of the U.S. Education Command should be benchmarked and the Korean Future Operation Environment Analysis Organization should be established and operated. Through this study, we have developed an understanding of the future operational environment analysis system of the U.S. Army and presented a plan to apply the ROK MND.

  • This study proposes a method for creating learning datasets to recognize obstacles using deep learning algorithms in automated construction machinery or an autonomous vehicle. Recently, many researchers and engineers have developed various recognition algorithms based on deep learning following an increase in computing power. In particular, the image classification technology and image segmentation technology represent deep learning recognition algorithms. They are used to identify obstacles that interfere with the driving situation of an autonomous vehicle. Therefore, various organizations and companies have started distributing open datasets, but there is a remote possibility that they will perfectly match the user's desired environment. In this study, we created an interface of the virtual simulator such that users can easily create their desired training dataset. In addition, the customized dataset was further advanced by using the RDBMS system, and the recognition rate was improved.

Identifying Hazard of Fire Accidents in Domestic Manufacturing Industry Using Data Analytics (국내 제조업 화재사고 데이터 분석을 통한 복합 유해·위험요인 확인)

  • Revising the Occupational Safety and Health Act led to enacting and revising related laws and systems, such as placing fire observers in hot workplaces. However, the operating standards in such cases are still ambiguous. Although fire accidents occur through multiple and multi-step factors, the hazards of fire accidents have been identified in this study as individual rather than interrelated factors. The aim has been to identify multiple factors of accidents, outlining fire and explosion accidents that recently occurred in the domestic manufacturing industry. First, major keywords were extracted through text mining. Then representative accident types were derived by combining the main keywords through the co-word network analysis to identify the hazards and their relationships. The representative fire accidents were identified as six types, and their major hazards were then addressed for improving safety measures using the identification of hazards in the "Risk Assessment" tool. It is found that various safety measures, such as professional fire observers' training and clear placement standards, are needed. This study will provide useful basic data for revising practical laws and guidelines for fire accident prevention, system supplementation, safety policy establishment, and future related research.

The Effects of Nurses' Perceived Internal Marketing on Job Performance and Loyalty (간호사가 지각하는 병원 내부마케팅이 직무수행 및 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted from December 26, 2018 to January 4, 2019 in order to analyze the effects of hospital internal marketing on job performance and loyalty based on nurses' perception. The participants were 250 nurses at general hospitals located in Gyeonggi-do. The results of this study are as follows: First, internal marketing in hospitals had a statistically significant effect on organizational and future vision, education and training systems, communication, organizational attributes, and job performance (F=29.118, p<.001). The training system, organizational and future vision, compensation and welfare system, and work management environment were found to have a statistically significant effect (F=38.671, p <.001) on loyalty, and the effect of job performance on loyalty was statistically significant (F=87.324, p<.001). Second, the relationship between hospital internal marketing based on nurses' perception and loyalty was found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect on stage 1 job performance (p<.001) and a statistically significant positive effect on stage 2 loyalty (+) (P <.001). The third-level internal marketing regression coefficient was significant, and job performance was also significant (P <.001). Based on these results, there is a need for hospital management to strengthen internal marketing in order to increase performance level and loyalty among nurses.

Analysis of conflict cases and suggestions for cooperation in order to activate street performances (거리공연활성화를 위한 갈등사례분석과 협력방안 제안 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the causes of conflict between street performing subjects and identify methods to induce their collaboration in promoting a creative city. This study proposes preventive mechanisms after identifying potential problems in performances on the streets of Jeju, which aims to become "the island of culture and art". To this aim, the type and relationship between the subjects of conflict, characters of conflict, solutions, extent and role of tolerance, responses of the subjects, and type of conflict management employed were examined and analyzed. We employed an in-depth interview method involving cases of conflict occurring during street performances in Jeju. were categorized into 6 types. First is conflict resulting from the lack of facilities. Second is conflict caused by non-designated performance venues. Third is conflict due to exclusive ambiance. Fourth is conflict resulting from direct engagement by neighboring residents. Fifth is conflict between residents and police during performances. Sixth is conflict by lack of definite relationship with relevant institutes. To systematically resolve these conflicts, we propose the following management methods: (1) behavioral approach of pretraining through a registration system; (2) establishment of busking zones and allocation after registration; (3) training of facilitators to manage street performances and extended roles; (4) establishment of standards for street performances through the systematic approach of ordinance; (5) training to secure tolerance of residents; and (6) simplification of deliberation process by building a collaborative system among institutes.

A survey on installation and management of automated external defibrillators (자동심장충격기 설치현황 및 관리 실태 조사)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the status of the installation, maintenance and management of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) in all mandatory institutions and buildings of the providence to be equipped with AEDs. The study was conducted from November 20, 2017 to December 20, 2017, during which time 169 AED units were surveyed. The collected data was analyzed by frequency analysis and the percentage was determined using the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. A total of 168 units (99.41%) of AEDs were installed inside. Additionally, 47 units (27.80%) were available 24 hours a day, and 44 units (26.00%) were available outside business hours of the institution. Moreover, 87 units (51.43%) of the responsible managers received rescue and first aid training. Evaluation of the management status of the AEDs revealed two (1.20%) that had problems with their battery state of charge battery charge and seven (4.10%) for which the AED pads were past the expiration date. A management system for the manager of AEDs should be established and a regular training program for their systematic maintenance should be developed and applied. It is also suggested that awareness of the necessity of continuous management be raised through reinforcement of laws and legal system reorganization.
