Organocatalysis is a relatively new and popular area within the field of chiral molecule synthesis. It is one of the main branches of enantioselective synthesis with enzymatic and organometallic catalysis. In recent years, immense high quality studies on catalysis by chiral secondary amines were reported. These progresses instantly led to different organocatalytic activation concepts, so thousands of researchers from academia and the chemical industry are currently involved in this field and new ideas, new approaches, and creative thinking have been rapidly emerged. Organocatalysts, some of which are natural products, appear to solve the problems of metal catalysts. Compared to metal-based catalysis, they have many advantages including savings in cost, time, and energy, easier experimental procedure, and reduction of chemical waste. These benefits originate from the following factors. First, organocatalysts are generally stable in oxygen and water in the atmosphere, there is no need for special equipments or experimental techniques to operate under anhydrous or anaerobic conditions. Second, organic reagents are naturally available from biological materials as single enantiomers that they are easy and cheap to prepare which makes them suitable for small-scale to industrial-scale reactions. Third, in terms of safety related catalysis, small organic molecules are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop novel synthetic methods and design for various organocatalyst. Furthermore, it is expected that these organocatalysts can be applied to a variety of asymmetric reactions and study the transition state of these reactions using a metal sulface. Here, we report the synthesis of unprecedented organocatalysts, proline and pyrrolidine derivatives with quaternary carbon center.
The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential use of a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma system to improve microbial safety of sliced cheese. The atmospheric pressure plasma (APP) effect on visual appearance and a sensory evaluation were also carried out. The number of Escherichia coli inoculated on cheese slices decreased by 0.09, 0.47, 1.16 and 1.47 log cycles with helium (4 liters/min [lpm]) and 0.05, 0.87, 1.89 and 1.98 log cycles with He/$O_2$ mixture (4 lpm/15 standard cubic centimeters per minute), after being treated with plasma for 1, 5, 10, and 15 min, respectively. Significant reductions were also observed in Staphylococcus aureus inoculated onto cheese slices ranging from 0.05 to 0.45 log cycles with He and from 0.08 to 0.91 log cycles with He/$O_2$-treated samples, respectively. Adding oxygen resulted in a significant increase in inactivation of both pathogens. No visible change in the plasma-treated cheese slices was observed even though the instrumental analysis showed a significant decrease in the $L^*$-value and an increase in the $b^*$-value. The cheese slices were damaged after 10 and 15 min of plasma treatment. In addition, significant reductions in sensory quality including flavor, odor, and acceptability of plasma-treated cheese slices were observed. The results indicate that the DBD plasma system has potential for use in sanitizing food products, although the effect was limited. Further development of the APP system is necessary for industrial use.
Human does information processing more efficiently using mental model at his understanding process. if We know what mental model is, we will know how to percept that. Similarly is it used visual mental model to percept visual object\ulcorner If it is true, we will analysis how man to understand. In this research, we have one experimentation to timid out that is true. So we did experimentation to know how man to understand new products by visual mental model. So we use 2700cc car's side view as stimuli. To A Subjects, we give them to see re\ulcorner size view before 120% ratio. To B Subject, we give them to see 120% ratio. After a experimentation, It is true that we make hypothesis that A Subjects percept this stimuli too long then B Subjects. Accordingly it proves human to use visual mental model to percept visual object. The result of experimentation, a testee use preliminary stimulus as basis of evaluation. It means that he use mental model as basis of evaluation of main stimulus. Accordingly development of new design can afford more strategic approach. Industrial designer who want to strategic approach can forced on high-weighted form attribute as consumer gives.

A convenient procedure for the synthesis of fatty acid diesters was studied. Long chain diesters have been used as biolubricant and transformer oils. The series of octyl, dodecyl, hexadecyl, octadecyl, and octadec-9-enyl glycidyl ether were used to synthesize those diesters. Alkyl glycidyl ethers were reacted with fatty acid such as oleic acid and octanoic acid, and octanoic acid. The one-step / two-step reactions were compared during the condensation reaction. The products were confirmed by $^{1}H-NMR$, FT-IR, and HR/MS spectra. The yield of the product 1-O-acyl-2-O, 3-O-dioctadec-9-enoylglycerol was 55~60%.
This study compares and reviews PPL in domestic and foreign music videos with reference to possibility of connecting K-POP music videos and PPL in industrial perspective and establishes a successful PPL strategy for K-POP. For this, their success factors are drawn through content analysis method for PPL examples in K-POP and foreign(British-American) music videos. The study analyzes PPL strategies in K-POP and foreign music videos by content analysis of PPL exposure frequency and time, PPL placement type, PPL products group type, advertisers, etc. According to the study, PPL product lines as well as fashions need to be diversified in K-POP music videos. The study also shows that it needs to apply the PPL strategy used in foreign music videos which are focused on exposure time rather than exposure frequency. In addition, it turned out to be important to establish more bold PPL placement exposure strategy in K-POP music videos. Therefore, the study is to offer theoretical and political implications required for successful PPL strategy in K-POP in the future.
Recently emotional relationships between industrial products and user experience are getting more attention than ever. However, current user interface design has focused just on the mechanical and logical aspects. This research proposed a new approach to improve user's emotional experience to interface design and introduced storytelling as a new possibility. Four types of user interface - logical interface, picture added interface, storytelling-applied interface, and storytelling-applied interface with a story script - were used for this research. Eighty college students participated in this research. Each participant was randomly assigned to one of four types of user interfaces. Additionally, their individual differences in affect intensity were measured. he results show that users reported more emotional experience in the storytelling-applied interface and storytelling-applied interface with a story script than the logical interface and just picture added interface. The results also suggest that the higher satisfaction was experienced for the storytelling-applied interface. And all those results are differentiated by the users' affect intensity. The users who have higher affect intensity expressed heavier emotional experience and deeper satisfaction for the storytelling-applied interface.

Fouling is caused by sedimentation and corrosion of polymer, heavy paraffine, chemicals, heavy organics, asphaltene, etc. in the entire chemical process of heat exchanger, boiler, desalter, etc. Fouling phenomena remains a serious operating problem which results in increased energy consumption, increased pressure drops, reduction or complete loss of products yield, and increased maintenance costs. In order to calculate the separated amounts of foulants and to control the fouling process, the predictive model is developed which is based on Scott & Magat polymer solution theory, Peng-Robinson EOS, BWR EOS, and continuous and multicomponent thermodynamics.
The bread qualities were analyzed objectively by using CrumbScan software. Samples were prepared at the same conditions of mixing, fermentation, and baking time except the amount of Korean wheat flour (KWF). The bread volume was increased with increasing KWF, and the maximum volume was attained in the product of 20% KWF. Although the products of 20% and 30% KWF showed the same thickness of the crust, the crust was thinner than control when KWF was added. The size (fineness) and shape (elongation) of crumb cells were larger and rounder than control due to the low degree of elasticity of the KWF-added dough. Among the samples, the product with 20% KWF showed the most even distribution of crumb cells around the sliced area. The precise determination of external and internal characteristics of the bread was possible with Crumbscan, suggesting the possibility of developing industrial standards for bread.
This case study investigates the KIKO currency option that has been a social issue in recent years among developing countries, especially Korea, where the financial derivatives market is in a state of rapid growth. The forward transaction which becomes a basis of derivatives is intended to hedge risks that may be caused by a future change in asset prices. Although it originates from a simple form of agricultural transactions, there currently exists a variety of derivatives in more sophisticated forms. In the Korean agricultural industry, the need to use such derivatives is great, as there is a huge risk of price fluctuation in agricultural products due to frequent adverse weather. In addition, many developing countries with export-led industrial structures similar to Korea's, of necessity must resort to currency hedging as a method of reducing relevant risk. However, in most cases, the lack of understanding about financial derivatives results in an inappropriate application of these derivatives. The KIKO in this study represents such cases. Since 2007, KIKO has been sold in Korea to many small- and medium-sized export companies for the purpose of currency hedging when the exchange rate between the Korean won and the U.S. dollar was in a downward spiral. The main focus of this study is a case which is most representative of KIKO. As inflation rapidly increased during the financial crisis in the U.S. at the end of 2007, derivatives became a hot issue in the courts rather than in the financial markets. This case study investigates what KIKO and the fierce legal debates over it imply, from the perspective of the option of value evaluation in order to suggest not only a direction in which companies can utilize financial derivatives, but also a roadmap for the future derivatives market.
