약계자 영역에서 유도전동기의 최대 토오크 운전 (Maximum Torque Operation of an Induction Machine in the field weakening regoin)

  • In this paper, a new approach for the induction machine control whih ensures producing maximum torque per ampere over the entire field weakening region is presented. In addition, the relation of the output torque capability with the leakage factor of the machine is examined. Also the smooth and precise transition into the field weakening operation can be achieved by adjusting the base speed for the field weakening operation according to the flux level, the current limit and the voltage limit. The proposed is verified through simulation and experiment for a 5hp laboratory induction motor drive system.

  • In this paper a control technique for active power filters is proposed which not only eliminates the harmonic current, but also controls the reactive power at the ac side of PWM inverter-induction motor drive system. Injecting the proposed PWM current enables the harmonic components of orders not greater than the pulse number per half-cycle to be removed completely. It also enables the input power factor to become unity. Theoretical investigations are performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed control technique.

  • A control technique for current-fed filters is proposed which not only eliminates the harmonic current, but also controls the reactive power at the ac sides of PWM inverter-induction motor drive system. Injecting the proposed PWM current enables the harmonic components of orders not greater than the number of pulses per half-cycle to be removed completely. Also it enables the input fundamental power factor to become unity and hence total input power factor can be improved greatly. Digital simulation is performed to investigate the theoretical output characteristics of the current-fed filters by the proposed control technique.

  • This paper proposes a new DFIG(Doubly-Fed Induction Generator) system using matrix converter, which is very effectively used for interconnecting the wind power system to the power grid. The operation of proposed system was verified by computer simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC software. The feasibility of hardware implementation was conformed by experimental works with a laboratory scaled-model of wind power system. The laboratory scaled-model was built using a motor-generator set with vector drive system, and a matrix converter with DSP(Digital Signal Processor). The operation of scaled-model was tested by modeling the specific variable-speed wind turbine using the real wind data in order to make the scaled-model simulate the real wind power system as close as possible. The simulation and experimental results confirm that matrix converter can be applied for the DFIG system.

  • The recent operating trains including the high speed train are mostly moving system on the rail and system use the mechanical propulsion force to drive the gear and wheel by the traction motor. Advanced countries are interested in Magnetic Levitation Vehicle and they have been studying about it continuously. Thus this paper is analyzed the feature of analysis the feature for Linear Induction Motor as the propulsion equipment of Magnetic Levitation Vehicle. And the Magnetic Levitation Vehicle is being developed for the transportation system of next generation using the Finite Element Method

  • PWM 인버터에 의해 구동리근 유도전동기에 발생되는 고주파 커먼 모드 전압은 전도성 EMI, 전통기 접지전류, 베어링 전류 및 다른 원치 않는 결과의 주원인이 된다. 인버터 제어의 무효벡터 스위칭 상태는 나머지 유효벡터 스위칭 상태에 비교하여 큰 커먼 모드 전압을 일으킨다. 그러므로 이 논문은 커먼 모드 전압을 완화하는 스위칭기법을 다룬다. 즉 정현파 PWM 기법을 기본으로 한 커먼 모드 전압 제거방법을 제안하였다. PWM 신호는 각자의 정현과 기준신호와 120$^{\circ}$위상차가 나는 3개의 캐리어 파형과 비교하여 발생된다. 시뮬레이션과 실험적 결과는 제안된 PWM 기법에서 커먼 모드 전압이 종래의 PWM 기법보다 약 66% 더 저감됨을 보였다.

  • This paper is proposed adaptive fuzzy-neuro controller for high performance of induction motor drive. The design of this algorithm based on fuzzy-neural network controller that is implemented using fuzzy control and neural network. This controller uses fuzzy rule as training patterns of a neural network. Also, this controller uses the back-propagation method to adjust the weights between the neurons of neural network in order to minimize the error between the command output and actual output. A model reference adaptive scheme is proposed in which the adaptation mechanism is executed by fuzzy logic based on the error and change of nor measured between the motor speed and output of a reference model. The control performance of the adaptive fuzy-neuro controller is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. The results of experiment prove that the proposed control system has strong high performance and robustness to parameter variation, and steady-state accuracy and transient response.

  • This paper presents novel topologies implementation for Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) drive used in commercial applications. For effective utilization of the developed system, a novel direct current controlled PWM scheme is designed and implemented to produce the desired dynamic speed characteristic. In comparison to conventional asymmetric converter topology, it can minimize entire system costs by reducing numbers of power semiconductors. Therefore, it may open up investigation of a new way for SRM to compete with other ac motors such as induction motors, brushless dc motors, etc. The validity of the proposed method is verified through theoretical explanation and experimental results.

  • This paper describes an implementation of the DSP(Digital Signal Processor) based triangular carrier frequency modulated RPWM inverter drive system. The power spectrum of the noise emitted from the induction motor was measured in the anechoic chamber. The analysis of the sources for the acoustic noise and the effects of the noise reduction are confirmed by the measured spectra of the noise. Real-time RPWM along with the speed control was achieved by high speed DSP. By changing the center frequency and the bandwidth of the carrier, the proposed real-time RPWM scheme can be used as an efficient switching frequency band acoustic noise reduction method for the inverter drive system with variant load conditions.

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) adjustable speed drives offer significant advantages over induction motor drives in a wide variety of industrial applications such as high power density, high efficiency, improved dynamic performance and reliability. This paper proposes efficiency optimization control of IPMSM drive using adaptive fuzzy learning controller(AFLC). In order to optimize the efficiency the loss minimization algorithm is developed based on motor model and operating condition. The d-axis armature current is utilized to minimize the losses of the IPMSM in a closed loop vector control environment. The design of the current based on adaptive fuzzy control using model reference and the estimation of the speed based on neural network using ANN controller. The controllable electrical loss which consists of the copper loss and the iron loss can be minimized by the optimal control of the armature current. The minimization of loss is possible to realize efficiency optimization control for the proposed IPMSM. The optimal current can be decided according to the operating speed and the load conditions. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using AFLC. Also, this paper proposes speed control of IPMSM using AFLC1, current control of AFLC2 and AFLC3, and estimation of speed using ANN controller. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled AFLC, the operating characteristics controlled by efficiency optimization control are examined in detail.
