Shielding 효과를 고려한 회로 설계 방법에 관한 연구

  • In high frequency range, RF circuit design without considering shielding effect can cause several significant changes due to increase in parasitic capacitance and inductance between RF signal lines and shielding box. In this paper, bandpass filter has been made to measure the shielding effect and its s-parameter has been measured by Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Equivalent circuit model including the shielding effect has been constructed with the lumped elements extracted from the 3D electromagnetic simulator, Maxwell SI. Then, the validity of the model is verified using microwave circuit simulator, ADS (Advanced Design System).

  • This paper proposed a new real-time parameter tracking algorithm. Unlike the convenience algorithms, the proposed real-time parameter tracking algorithm can estimate parameters through three-phase voltage and electric current without coordination transformation, and does not need information on magnetic flux. Therefore, it can estimate parameters regardless of the change according to operation point and cross-saturation effect. In addition, as the quasi-real-time parameter tracking technique can estimate parameters through the four fundamental arithmetic operations instead of complicated algorithms such as numerical value analysis technique and observer design, it can be applied to low-performance DSP. In this paper, a new real-time parameter tracking algorithm is derived from three phase equation. The validity and usefulness of the proposed inductance estimation technique is verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • 스위치드 리럭턴스 전동기(switched reluctance motor : 이하 SRM 이라 칭함)는 가변 인덕턴스 프로파일의 비선형성과 리플성분이 포함된 펄스전류에 구동되는 본질적인 특성 때문에 토오크는 맥동성분을 포함한다. 본 논문에서는 토오크의 맥동에 영향을 미치는 전류파형 형태를 고찰하고, 속도나 부하에 관계없이 어드밴스 각(advance angle)와 여자전압을 제어함으로써 토오크 맥동을 저감할 수 있는 단일 펄스모드 스위칭 제어방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 설계 제작된 6/4 SRM을 이용하여 제안한 스위칭 제어방법의 타당성을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

A Simple Model Parameter Extraction Methodology for an On-Chip Spiral Inductor

  • In this letter, a simple model parameter extraction methodology for an on-chip spiral inductor is proposed based on a wide-band inductor model that incorporates parallel inductance and resistance to model skin and proximity effects, and capacitance to model the decrease in series resistance above the frequency near the peak quality factor. The wide-band inductor model does not require any frequency dependent elements, and model parameters can be extracted directly from the measured data with some curve fitting. The validity of the proposed model and parameter extraction methodology are verified with various size inductors fabricated using $0.18\;{\mu}m$ CMOS technology.

  • The unbalanced reciprocation force due to armature reaction field decreases the advantage of moving coil linear motor, such as a high degree of linearity and controllability in the force and motion control. This paper firstly describes the coil inductance, and the unbalanced force. Secondly, the dynamic simulation algorithm considering the armature reaction effect and variable inductance is proposed. Thirdly, the control algorithm is proposed to reciprocate a load without mechanical spring at the required stroke and position. Finally, the validity of the proposed algorithm is confirmed by experiments.

  • The fault current limiting characteristics at the initial fault time for flux-lock type high-Tc superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) were investigated. The amplitude of initial fault current of the flux-lock type SFCL was dependent on the inductance ratio of coil 1 and 2. After fault current limiting mode was analyzed, we compared the calculated value with the experimental one for the initial fault current. The effect of initial fault current due to the inductance ratio of coil 1 and 2 on fault current limiting characteristics was discussed.

  • A moving-coil-type linear oscillatory actuator is consisted of the NdFeB permanent magnets with high specific energy as the stator, a coil-wrapped nonmagnetic hollow rectangular structure and an iron core as a pathway for magnetic flux. The inductance of moving coil and the push/pull effect is obtained from the permeance model of LOA with the open magnetic circuit. The analytical method are verified using the 2D finite element method.

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor is widening its application compared to other AC machines because of magnetic and reluctance torque. Despite of the advantages, improving control performance with parameter nonlinearity consideration is crucial during the field weakening control. This paper shows a maximum power control method at the field weakening region that considers d, q inductance's nonlinearity due to magnetic saturation and d, q mutual inductance. To verify the feasibility of control scheme, FEM simulations and experiments about comparison between linear and nonlinear maximum power control are carried out.

  • This study investigates the characteristics of Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor (PMASynRM) using coupled FEM and Preisach modelling. The focus of this paper is the characteristics analysis of d, q axis inductance according to magnetizing direction and quantity of interior permanent magnet far PMASynRM. Investigation on nonlinear characteristic of machine is performed by Preisachs theory application. Comparisons are given with characteristics of normal Synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) and those according to the quantity of residual flux density (0.3T and 0.4T) in PMASynRM, respectively.

  • 자기공명영상시스템의 경사자계코일을 영구자석의 자극에 부착할 경우 경사자계의 분포가 변하고 코일의 인덕턴스가 증가하는 현상이 생긴다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 자극효과를 고려하여 평면형 경사자계코일을 설계하는 방법을 제시하였다. 제사한 방법에는 자극 효과를 거울 전류로 모델링하였고, 모델링한 거울 전류를 고려하여 경사자계코일의 인덕턴스를 최소화하는 방법을 구했다. 또한 실제 상황과 가장 흡사한 자계 분포를 만들어주는 거울 전류의 크기를 구하기 위해 유한요소법을 적용하였다. 제시한 방법으로는 설계된 경사자계코일은 종래의 설계된 경사자계 코일에 비해 우수한 성능을 보였다.
