Determinants of Inpatients Satisfaction and Intent to Revisit Oriental Medical Hospitals

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the determinants of inpatients satisfaction and intent to revisit oriental medical hospitals. Methods: The independent variables of the study contain the level of satisfaction with doctors, nurses, staffs, medical fee, environment, facilities and hospital life. Each variable was measured by three to eight items about the level of satisfaction with various aspects of hospital ward life. The level of overall patient satisfaction was used as an intervening variable and the level of intent to revisit was used as a dependent variable. The sample used in this study consisted of 268 inpatients from 3 oriental medical hospitals located in Chungnam Province. Data were collected with a structured and self-administrated questionnaire and analysed using path analysis. Results: The major findings of the study were as follows : First, it was found that the 3 variables of hospital life satisfaction, ancillary staffs satisfaction, and metropolitan residents has significant positive effect on the level of overall patient satisfaction. Second, the overall satisfaction and the satisfactory level of facilities, medical fee, and quality of ward life were found to have significant effects on the level of intent to revisit of respondents. Conclusions: The results of the study indicate that oriental medical hospitals should make an effort to improve the overall satisfaction of inpatients, especially focusing on the facilities convenience, medical price, and hospital ward life which will lead to high level of intent to revisit of inpatients.

보육교사의 소진, 과학교수불안 및 과학교수효능감 간의 관계에서 과학교과교육학지식의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of Science Teaching on the Relations Among Child Care Teachers' Burnout, Science Teaching Anxiety, and Science Teaching Efficacy)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating effect of pedagogical content knowledge of science teaching on the relations among child care teachers' burnout, science teaching anxiety, and science teaching efficacy. For this study, questionnaires were distributed to 355 teachers working at child care centers in Jollanam-do. The analysis of data was conducted with SPSS WIN 18.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, child care teachers' burnout lowered their science teaching efficacy, and child care teachers' pedagogical content knowledge, as a mediating variable, reduced the negative effect of child care teachers' burnout on their science teaching efficacy. Second, child care teachers' science teaching anxiety lowered their science teaching efficacy, and child care teachers' pedagogical content knowledge, as a mediating variable, reduced the negative effect of child care teachers' science teaching anxiety as an independent variable on their science teaching efficacy. These findings imply there is a need to boost pedagogical content knowledge during in-service teacher education programs.

  • The object of this study is to evaluate the factors affecting the water quality and to propose the influence of dominant factor quantitatively. The correlation analysis was performed to know the correlationship among the water quality items As a result of partial correlation analysis, it was shown that the water quality items are affected by the rainfall item directly. The factor analysis was performed to grasp some number of factors on each point for deducing the items of similar variable characteristics. The four points were divided into different factor groups. It was grasped that $NH_3-N$ and $NO_3-N$ Items have different variable characteristics after comparing the items. The Multiple regression analysis can decrease the number of observation. In the deduced multiple regression formula, it was shown that the rate of T-N, $NH_3-N$ and $NO_3-N$ in the independent variable took about 60% among all the regression formulas.

상대습도 변동하의 휨 모멘트가 작용하는 단판적층재 Drift Pin 접합부의 크리프 변형 거동 (Creep of Drift Pin Moment Resisting Joint of LVL under Changing RH)

  • The objective of this study was to present creep and the effects of mechano-sorptive deflection of drift pin moment resisting joint between LVL members under changing relative humidity (RH) conditions. The LVL members with steel gusset were jointed by a square pattern of eight injected drift pin. Three diameter drift pins were used to test specimens (6mm, 10mm, and 16mm). The creep test was conducted under two constant loading conditions : one at 30 kgf(840 kgf-cm) and the other at 60 kgf(1680 kgf-cm). The experiment was conducted in an open shed outside. (1)The total rotation creep model of moment resisting joing can be expressed as the sum of the creep of controlled environment (3-parameter model), dimensional change and mechano-sorptive deflection resulting from the variable environment. (2)Mechanosorptive rotation creep is recoverable as moisture content increases during adsorption. Least squares method for linear regression analysis was performed using mechano-sorptive rotation creep as the dependent variable and moisture content as the independent variable. The slope of low moment specimens are compared with those of high moment. This means that low moment condition is more easily affected by changes in humidity than high moment conditions. (3)Although creep deflection is higher for small diameter drift pin than for large diameter drift pin, the shape of creep deflection curves for all specimens is similar.

  • The objectives of this study were; (1)to determine if socio-demographic variables influence energy conservation attitude, energy conservation knowledge, energy conservation behavior of consumer, (2) to determine if energy conservation attitude and energy conservation knowledge influence energy conservation behavior of consumer, (3) to examine the causal relationships among variables which influence energy conservation behavior of consumer. The model for this study included following variables; (1) socio-demographic variables, which are the independent variables; (2) energy conservation behavior of consumer, which is a dependent variable; (3) energy conservation attitude of consumer, which is an intervening variable ;(4) energy conservation knowledge of consumer, which is an intervening variable. The data used in this study included 502 homemakers living in Seoul. Statistics used for data analysis were ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation and Path Analysis. The major findings were follows; (1) Energy conservation attitude and energy conservation behavior difference significantly according to the level of family income among socio-demographic variables such a age, educational level and family income. Energy conservation knowledge differenced significantly educational level, and family income. Energy conservation knowledge difference significantly educational level. (2) Energy conservation behavior differed significantly according to energy conservation attitude and energy conservation knowledge. (3) Energy conservation attitude and energy conservation knowledge had positive effects on energy conservation behavior directly and indirectly. (4) Family income had negative effects on energy conservation behavior directly and indirectly through energy conservation attitude. Education had positive effect on energy conservation behavior indirectly through energy conservation knowledge.

  • In this paper, a Pl controlled feedback closed-loop voltage regulation scheme of the three-phase squirrel cage rotor self-excited induction generator (SEIG) driven by a variable-speed prime mover (VSPM) such as a wind turbine is designed on the basis of the static VAR compensator (SVC) and discussed in experiment fer the promising stand-alone power independent conditioner. The simulation and experimental results of the three-phase SEIG with the simple SVC controller for its stabilized voltage regulation prove the practical effectiveness of the additional SVC control loop scheme including the PI controller with fast response characteristics and steady-sate performance improvement.

공무원의 학습조직 특성이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 : 상사신뢰의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Learning Organization Level on Organizational Citizenship Behavior : Focus on the effect of Supervisor Trust)

  • This study is to discover and substantiate the casual relation between Learning Organization and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with Supervisor Trust used as moderating variable. Learning Organization and Organization Citizenship Behavior are used, respectively, as independent and dependent variable, Supervisor Trust as moderating variable. The data for this study was collected from 340 public officials who participated in the training program. Data collection tools were used to collect structured questionnaire questionnaires, and dissemination and retrieval of questionnaires were carried out over 6 weeks from February 6 to March 10, 2017. Of the questionnaire distributed, the questionnaire was finally recovered from the questionnaire, with a recall rate of 91.8 %, showing a very high rate of recall. The result showed that Learning Organization is a significant factor for Organization Citizenship Behavior and also that Supervisor Trust plays a role in the control of the relationship between Learning Organization and Organization Citizenship Behavior; thus, in order for Public Organizations to achieve advanced competitiveness, vitalizations of Learning Organization is important.

  • 본 논문은 대학정보시스템 품질특성이 학생들의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 대학정보시스템의 품질 특성을 독립변수로, 정보시스템의 만족도를 매개변수로, 그리고 대학전반에 대한 만족도를 종속변수로 사용하여 그들 간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 또한 사용자 특성(지역, 학년, 소속계열, 성별)이라는 조절변수를 사용하여 대학정보시스템 품질특성이 정보시스템의 만족도에 미치는 조절효과에 대한 연구를 하였다. 본 연구에서는 연구의 결과에 따라 급변하는 대학의 환경속에서 대학정보시스템의 운영 및 구축에 대한 시사점을 아울러 제시하고 있다.

중학생의 가정과교육 학습요구도 및 가정생활참여에 관한 연구 (A Study on Middle School Student′s Needs for Home Economics Curriculum Education and the Family Life Participation)

  • The purposes of this study is to find middle school student's needs for Home Economics Curriculum and the family life participation. The samples are 323 middle school students in Kangneung. The results of this study are summarized follows; 1. It is shown that the family life participation of boys was higher than that of girls. 2. Variables that affect middle school student's needs for Home Economics curriculum are needs for Home Economics, number of brothers and sisters and the age for mother. 3. Variables that affect middle school student's the family life participation are human development and family relationship, the clothing, participation in class of Home Economics, perception of life status and sex. 4. The relative contributions of independent variables of the family life participation of middle school students are as follows. The degree of explanation of middle school student's family environmental variable is 12.2%. Adding the variable of Home Economics course, the degree of explanation is increased to 21.8%(deviation 9.6%). Adding the variable of needs for Home Economics curriculum, the degree of explanation is increased to 33.1% (deviation 11.3%).

The Impacts of Social Welfare Worker's Interpersonal Stress on Job Burnout and Turnover Intention - Focusing on Moderating Effects of Stress Coping Ability

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between interpersonal stress and job burnout, turnover intention of social welfare worker's in social welfare center and efficient response of welfare worker's. In order to accomplish this study purpose, the interpersonal stress of social welfare worker's in social welfare center as an independent variable, interpersonal stress as a dependent variable of job burnout and turnover intention, and stress coping ability as a moderating variable were selected. The causal relationship between interpersonal stress and job burnout, turnover intention and the moderating effect of stress coping ability were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the interpersonal stress of social welfare worker's showed a significant effect on job burnout and turnover intention. Also, moderating effects of stress copying ability were significant. Based on the results of this analysis, the theoretical implications and policy implications of this study are suggested, and the directions and limitations of this study are suggested.
