This study is to find out whether the family life education can help the middle aged wives to resolve their problems and to keep their lives healthy. For this purpose self-administered questionnaires were used for 628 persons whose ages between 40 to 59 residing in the Metropolitan Area of Soul. Deta collected were analyzed by statistical methods such as the factor analysis frequency distribution percentile mean t-test chi-square Anova and Duncan's multiple range test through the SAS program package. Major results obtained are as follows; 1) The most demanding education content in the are of the spousal relationship was the helping program for the role change from parent-child relationship to spousal relationship. Employed wives demanded conflict resolution skill training program between parents and children while house wives showed the highest interest in guiding their children's future. 2) There are significant differences between employed wives and house wives in the areas f parent-child relationship communication and home managment of the need assessment. In detail employed wives showed higher interest in education the children more independent than house wives. Employed wives also showed higher interest than house wives in the education content about the factors for communication problems in the communication area. 3) About the application method in the family life education there was no significant difference between employed wives and house wives in terms of the necessity of the problem solving methods of follow-up meeting in the family life education while there was a significant difference in the past education program participation intention to participate in the future education program and the education setting between employed wives and house wives.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the general characteristics of coffee house consumers as well as the importance and satisfaction of selection attributes of specialty coffee houses according to length of coffee education period. Applicants in the Gwangju and Jeonnam area who had finished their Barista 2 grade certificate examination participated in a survey on March 12, 2011. Further, university students living in Gwangju participated as subjects who had never experienced coffee education from March 15 to March 31, 2011. Two-hundred and one subjects participated in the survey, and 184 questionnaires were used for analysis. Regardless of coffee education experience, quality of coffee was important, but higher educated subjects showed the lowest satisfaction of coffee from a coffee house (p<0.01) in terms of attributes such as freshness of coffee beans (p<0.01) and overall taste (p<0.01). Further, subjects who received no or little education demonstrated high correlation between importance/satisfaction of 'brand' and 'employee' compared to subjects who studied more than 2 semesters. These results provide future coffee house entrepreneurs and baristas with market information and marketing strategies for understanding customers' coffee house selection attributes.

The central goal of this study is to find out of the boy students in middle school the attitude towards house life and house-hold affairs of the boys; and explain what will be of their attitude after they have got Home Economics education. For the purpose of this study, 138 questionairs were distributed to the boy students who had educated Home Economics in school and the ones who had not. The results were as follows; 1. The educated group has higher score in ability of house-hold making than the other group. 2. The educated students responed affirmatively to the utility and necessity of Home Economics education. 3. The teachers who have taught Home Economics to male students have opinions that the students needed Home Economics education to increase the ability of doing house-hold work. Accordingly, Home Economics education should be taught to both sexes in order to have good quality of life, and requires more hours to study as well.
Purpose. This study was designed to examine the effect of asthma management education program applied to allergic asthma patients receiving immunotherapy due to house dust mite on their stress and compliance with health care regimens. Methods. A quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group and non-synchronized design was used. The subjects of this study were 61 patients who were receiving immunotherapy at intervals of a week after their symptoms were diagnosed as house dust mite allergic asthma at the pulmonary department of a university hospital in Seoul. They were divided into an experimental group of 29 patients who received asthma management education and a control group of 32 patients. The asthma management education pro-gram was composed of group education (once) and reinforcement education (three times) with environmental therapy and immunotherapy to house dust mite. Results. Stress significantly decreased in the experimental group compared to that in the control group. Compliance with health care regimens significantly increased in the experimental group compared to that in the control group. Conclusions. The results suggested that the asthma management education program is effective for the management of stress and the improvement of compliance in patients with allergic asthma to house dust mite.

This means that development of industrial society has brought pains not only to workers themselves but also to their family due to various disasters, while it changed us to be affluent and improved the quality of life. The purpose of this study is to make the preliminary data for understanding the efficiency of the educations through examination of the existing state in performance about education programs for supervisors, which are in-house educations performed by the company itself and consignment educations performed by outside professional education institutions, in industrial safety and health education programs for prevention of industrial disasters and analysis on survey research of supervisors working at Anyang area to find out whether or not the in-house education and consignment education in education programs for supervisors have statistically significant differences in their ages, classification by industry, the completion number of educations, the number of regular employees regarding duties of supervisor determined by the Industrial Safety and Health Act. As the result of study, this study resulted in that consignment education performed by professional education institutions would be more helpful for improvement of job competence than in-house education performed by company itself. This can be interpreted that consignment education performed by professional education institutions has reacted more flexibly to continuous revisions of the Industrial Safety and Health Act and also more faithful to demand survey by consumers not being tied down by the conventionality for continuous development and study of the curriculum than that of in-house education.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the asthma management educational program given to the allergic asthmatics receiving immunotherapy due to house dust mite on the disease related to knowledge, stress, and self-efficacy. Method: The subjects of this study were the patients received immunotherapy to house dust mite at a week interval after being diagnosed for house dust mite allergic asthma at the respiratory center of a hospital affiliated to the university. They were divided into the experimental group of 29 patients who received asthma management education, the control group of 32 patients, and 61 patients in total. Experimental treatment, as an asthma management educational program, was the group education of one time and the reinforcement education of three times with environmental therapy and immunotherapy to house dust mite. Results: The results revealed that the improvement in disease related knowledge, the improvement in self-efficacy and the decrease in stress, were significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group. Conclusions: The asthma management educational program had an effect on improving the disease related knowledge and self-efficacy, and decreasing the stress of the patients asthmatics allergic to house dust mite.

A study has been performed on perception of citizens about the medical insects (house flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches) in Chang Won city. A total of 375 subjects (male: 180, female: 195) was surveyed in October 1997. Cockroaches were the most dislike of medical insects to the dwellers. At a residence, cockroaches were the most troubled insects although mosquitoes were the most frequently appeared insects. Also, the most troubled insects were the cockroaches at hospitals, departments, coffee shops, and bars; the mosquitoes at theaters and parks; and the house flies at restaurants in the city. The cockroaches had the highest negative opinion score as a 4.4 point of a 5.0 point. About half of the subjects had extremely suffered from the mosquitoes (52.8%) and cockroaches (51.8%). House residents controlled house flies using fly swatters (50.0%) and insecticide sprayers (38.9%), but apartment residents controlled them using the sprayers (50.8%) and fly swatters (36.5%). The mosquitoes were controlled by using the sprayers (51.6%) and mosquito coils (36.4%). The cockroaches were controlled by using toxic baits (32.9%) and the sprayers (31.5%). Only 10% of the subjects were satisfied control management against the medical insects. The subjects wanted to more effectively control against cockroaches (39.9%) and mosquitoes (37.9%).
During the rapid economic growth, many buildings have been built unfaithfully. As a result, the buildings have finished their role in 10 years with dangerous structural elements and deteriorative facilities. This study planned to renovate an old independent house as an original and individual interior space which is its advantage. A house is not the place to eat and sleep, but multiple space with various functions, such as shelter, working, rest, and education. The purpose of this study was to make house environment useful and comfortable by understanding such a situation and by predicting future problems.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of injury prevention education on elementary school students. We are selected two elementary school in Tejeon, one was intervention school, the other was control school. Surveys were completed before the begining of the interventions in February in 1994 and again after their completion in July 1994. Intervention group was 284 students in pre-test and 218 students in post-test. And control group was 253 students in pre-test and 208 students in post-test. The results of this study was followed. 1. In the general characteristics of subjects studied, sex, mother education, father education, economic status, number of household, and traffic environment were not significant difference between intervention and control group(p>0.05). 2. The contents of injury prevention education that subjects wished to learn, were not significant difference between intervention and control group(p>0.05). Also the mothods of that were significant difference between intervention and control group in pre-test(p<0.05) but not in post-test(p>0.05). 3. Education in knowledge, attitude and practice of injury prevention was slightly effectiveness. Change in attitude of injury prevention was higher than in knowledge and attitude of that we guess that they require a lot of education in the pedestrian prevention. 4. Reative risk between intervention and control group in injury incidence was 1.53 in hospital-care students, and 1.43 in home-care children. Also relative risk of total injury incidence was 1.38, therefore we knew that injury incidence after education was reduced. 5. In the analysis of injury causes, pedestrain injury was remarkably reduced at hospital-care students in two group. At home-care students, two groups were high proportion in play injury. 6. In the analysis of injury places, intervention group was high proportion at near-the house in pre-test(35.4%) and at school in post-test(36.4%). And control group was high at inside-the house in pre-test(31.5%) and at near-the house in post-test(28.2%).
