  • Recently the study is being addressed on the energy economy as greatly as possible. The researches on light source that have higher efficiency than the exiting are performing. The high-power LED is the representative one among those. There are two fields in the research on the high-power LED, the ordinary illuminating apparatus and the night illuminating apparatus using wind and solar energy. In this paper, we validated the probability of using high-power LED as illuminating apparatus and proposed the novel LED power equipment that has more stability and better efficiency than the exiting method. By using the propose method the -R-E-A-C-T is reduced and the efficiency improved.

  • This paper demonstrates the dynamic behaviors of paralleled high power IGBTs using trench and fieldstop technologies. Four IGBTs are paralleled and standard deviation is adopted to represent the imbalance. Experiments are conducted under three different operation conditions and at different temperatures ranging from $-25^{\circ}C$ to $125^{\circ}C$. The experimental results show that operation at very low and very high temperatures usually aggravates the switching behaviors. There is a trade-off between the balance and the losses at low temperatures. These results can help in the design of heat sinks in paralleling applications confronting very low temperatures.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide by locating various information sources in illuminating engineering and its related field. The proportion that illumination forms in the total electric power consumption takes up to 18%. For the development of new energy-saving lighting products, it Is indispensable to find out and use related technical information. The result of systematic survey of various information sources will be helpful for the researchers and librarians engaged in the field of illuminating engineering.

  • The shorter the electric power line is, the less its cost becomes. In this paper, the Steiner tree is applied to find the shortest path of the electric power line to obtain resultant cost reduction. Up to 18.3[%] of length reduction can be expected compared to conventional method when the lines are connected through the Steiner points, which also can result in appreciable cost reduction.
