To achieve targeted drug delivery for chemotherapy, a ligand-mediated nanoparticulate drug carrier was designed, which could identity a specific receptor on the surfaces of tumor cells. Biodegradable poly(ethylene oxide)/poly$({\varepsilon}-caprolactone)$ (PEG/PCL) amphiphilic block copolymers coupled to biotin ligands were synthesized with a variety of PEG/PCL compositions. Block copolymeric nanoparticles harboring the anticancer drug paclitaxel were prepared via micelle formation in aqueous solution. The size of the biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL nanoparticles was determined by light scattering measurements to be 88-118 nm, depending on the molecular weight of the block copolymer, and remained less than 120 nm even after paclitaxel loading. From an in vitro release study, biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL nanoparticles containing paclitaxel evidenced sustained release profiles of the drug with no initial burst effect. The biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL block copolymer itself evidenced no significant adverse effects on cell viability at $0.005-1.0{\mu}g/mL$ of nanoparticle suspension regardless of cell type (normal human fibroblasts and HeLa cells). However, biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL harboring paclitaxel evidenced a much higher cytotoxicity for cancer cells than was observed in the PEG/PCL nanoparticles without the biotin group. These results showed that the biotin-conjugated nanoparticles could improve the selective delivery of paclitaxel into cancer cells via interactions with over-expressed biotin receptors on the surfaces of cancer cells.

The purpose of this study is to understand the sociocultural context of the pre-game period, and how the context influenced on the identity formation of games. Games did not develop with the fixed and stable identities. Instead, games is the outcome which is conceived in the history of articulation of various discourses, technologies and social factors. The mechanical amusement devices was consumed for the urban entertainment, and made a strained relations with the society for the speculative and pathological characteristics. The mechanical amusement has extended to the electronic games in 1970s, and reached the present digital game culture.

We present the preliminary results of CO outflow survey toward the 56 Very Low Luminosity Object (VeLLO) candidates at CO J=2-1 and J=3-2 transitions with two radio telescopes of the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory (CSO) and the Atacama Submillimeter Telescope Experiment (ASTE). The survey is aimed to understand the origin of the formation of low-mass stars or substellar objects. The VeLLO is a very faint (${\leq}0.1$ $L_{\odot}$) object deeply embedded in dense molecular clouds and believed to be a proto-brown dwarf which will be a brown dwarf or a faint protostar which has just formed with little mass accretion or which is in quiescent stage of episodic accretion. The candidates were searched for over all nearby ($d{\leq}450$ pc) Gould belt clouds and listed in a new catalogue of the VeLLO candidates by Kim et al. (2014 submitted). To diagnose present status and future fate of the VeLLOs, we conducted a systematic observation for the CO molecular outflows of the 56 VeLLOs to infer how accretion is being made around the VeLLOs. We found 17 VeLLO candidates either having a prominent wing in line profiles or showing bipolar intensity distribution of high velocity components. We will discuss the physical properties of these CO outflows and the identity of the VeLLO candidates.

Its intent is very destructive which can result in invasion of information leakage, hacking, one of the most disturbing problems on the net. This thesis describes the technology of how you can effectively analyze and detect these kind of E-Mail malicious codes. This research explains how we can cope with malicious code more efficiently by detection method.

A national curriculum must be organized with consideration given to the equality of education in all aspects. In addition, educational equality must be discussed from the standpoint of fairness in addition to uniformed identity. This study was conducted with a goal to analyze and examine how China's informatics curriculum takes into consideration equality and excellence. It has been found that China's compulsory curriculum takes into consideration equality to give the same opportunity of education to all students, and that high school education is implemented from the perspective of excellence to reflect students' needs and abilities. Therefore, this study suggests considerations to be made in the discussion of software education that is being carried out at the moment and also for the formation of the respective curriculum.

In our environment that is developed centered on the water such as emphasizing the importance of environment and discussing the river recovery, the role of medium 'water' has been stressed and the water-friendly space's development has given a sense of stability and refreshment to people's mind. Hence, the importance of river in the city is recognized. Accordingly, this paper is intended to describe the necessity of color management and to suggest the definite landscape formation plan based on it by collecting the type analysis and color landscape by different landscape type and by evaluating the color landscape image. It is expected that this paper will become utilized as the basic frame of case zone.

This study aims to analyze community support methods and specific attainments of UR rental housing complex S in Japan and examine the present state of community formation.. UR rental housing S is part of the community revitalization support project launched by UR Urban Agency for creating exchanges among residents in the rental housing complex and in this study, the community support project from February to November 2013 was considered. As community revitalization support tasks, five types of events and exchange meetings were held. While the events and exchange meetings continued, even the residents who did not join the residents' association began to make an exchange with each other and their identity as residents enhanced, which means there was a change in the sense of community. Moreover, it is thought that a good solution to maintaining the chance for the events and exchange meetings after the support project is that residents of the younger generation actively cooperate in management as the residents' association members. 5 years after the support project, the present condition of activities of complex residents was examined, but the Residents' Association was disbanded due to the aging of residents, a growth in residents and low participation rates of the younger generation. Besides, there is a complete absence of community activities in the complex now.

According to Wenying Xu, Asian American literature abounds in culinary metaphors and references (8); subsequently, a growing number of critics have begun to recognize that food "feeds into the literary rendering of Asian American subjectivity [and] provides a language through which to imagine Asian alterity in the American imagination" (Mannur 13). Ann Mah's Kitchen Chinese: A Novel about Food, Family, and Finding Yourself (2010) is yet another text within which to investigate how food "operates as one of the key cultural signs that structure people's identities" (Xu 2). Even as Kitchen Chinese insists on underscoring that Chinese food, as much as the voyage to her "motherland" China, is critical to protagonist Isabelle's quest to gain a better understanding of herself, we are able to observe how Isabelle exploits Chinese culture and its foodways as "food pornography" in order to align herself with mainstream America. Needless to say, the novels' relegation of Chinese food as "food porn" is problematic in that it encourages readers to participate in the exoticization of Asia and its culture, and the reduction of its people as the other. Ultimately, this essay aims to consider how the consumption and rejection of food becomes a critical means by which the Asian American subject fashions her identity.

This study focused on popular YouTube subculture content and male YouTuber characteristics. We conducted a case study on YouTube videos and viewer's comments of male YouTubers who interacted with subculture or fashion themes within YouTube. Based on Dick Hebdige's subculture theory, we categorized male subculture characteristics of style expression to show how YouTube plays a role in the formation of subculture. The representative types of male subculture were divided into metro sexual, adolescent boys, drag queen, and homosexual. YouTube simultaneously played a role in accumulating video viewing as well as indirect experiences in various communication activities and cultures among viewers. YouTube was used as a space for video producers as well as viewers and subscribers to discover and build identity. Subculture makes people aware of cultural diversity within society, and their doubles and lifestyles serve as important clues to track culture and fashion changes. This research is significant in the field of fashion media and subculture research due to its examination of male subculture phenomenon on YouTube based on an analysis of the video content of culture insiders and viewers' comments as well as immediate responses.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the brand loyalty formation by positive labeling. Affecting such factors as involvement, self-image, community engagement, preference, and choice cutback, positive labeling can be seen as one of psychological factors that shapes consumer's behavior and their decision. This study was carried out because little research was done to examine the influence of positive labeling toward brand loyalty, and also to find out the benefits that consumers can get from being labeled in positive terms. Data were collected through survey questionnaire and 151 usable responses were used. Following a series of pretests and confirmatory factor analysis helped to purify measures and verify the psychometric properties of the scale. Structural equation modeling with AMOS was used for testing of research hypotheses. The result of data analysis demonstrated the positive relationship between labeling and brand loyalty, i.e. positive labeling indirectly leads to consumers' loyalty toward a brand. Findings revealed significant relationship between involvement and emotional attachment, as well as the relationship between community engagement and choice cutback. The results gave support for the hypothesis of moderating effect of buzz on the relationship between involvement and emotional attachment, even though the hypothesis of moderating effect of distinction was rejected. Taking Apple's rivalry strategy as initial point, this study highlights the role of labeling in creating social identity. The study attempts to show the positive consequences of labeling strategy for firms that seeks ways of good competition without engaging into conflicts.
