The Effects of Pro-Sport Spectator on Team Identification, Inspection Intention, Brand Attitude (프로스포츠 관람동기가 팀 동일시, 관람의도 및 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study intends to divide consumer's psychological attachment of pro-sport into the identification of attitudinal dimension and the identification of behavioral dimension. And then intends to examine the relationship effect between motivation variables associated with pro-sport team(concern with the team's ranking, ability of players, attraction of players) and inspection intention, sponsorship effect(sponsor brand attitude). Almost all previous studies measured such relationship at the fragmented level, then there were no previous studies on the complicated relationship between sport team and sponsorship. Because of mentioned facts, this study used structure equation model to verify such relationship. Briefly, verifying hypothesis is as follows. First, almost all motivations related to the team are connected behavioral identification through attitudinal identification. Second, when examining the relationship between psychological attachment and inspection intention, sponsorship brand attitude, psychological attachment had positive effect on inspection intention and sponsor brand attitude in the case of attitudinal identification, but it had positive effect on only inspection intention in the case of behavioral identification. Findings and corresponding implications are discussed & future research directions.

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effect of compassion on collective self esteem through positive work-related identity, and to demonstrate the mediating effect of positive work-related identity and the moderating effect of organizational identification. In this study, The data collection was targeted at 369 social workers working in 13 social welfare facilities and institutions in Gyeonggi Province and 12 in Seoul from April 1 to April 25, 2018. It was demonstrated that compassion had a positive effect on positive work-related identity. Also, it was proved that positive work-related identity had a positive effect on collective self esteem, and mediating effect of positive work-related identity and moderating effect of organizational identification were also significant. Therefore, this study suggests social workers experienced compassion will have positive work-related identity, collective self esteem, and organizational identification.

  • The purpose of this study is as follows. First we investigate the relationship between contact with foreign managers (CFM) of host country nationals (HCNs) working at MNC subsidiaries and their organizational identification with MNC (OIM). Second we examine the moderating effect of MNC subsidiary localization (MSL) on the relationship between CFM and OIM. For this purpose, we set hypotheses on the relationship among CFM, OIM, and MSL. To verify theses hypotheses, we conducted hierarchical regression analysis on the data from 374 HCNs in 56 MNC subsidiaries. The results of this study are as follows: Frist, CFM positively affects OIM. Second, there is a significant moderating effect of MSL on the relationship between CFM and OIM. Our findings have critical implications in that a subsidiary-level variable that has a significant impact on organizational identification with MNC is presented and in that specific managerial guidelines for subsidiaries can be drawn.

Effect of Image, Trust and Responsiveness of Social Welfare Organizations on Continuing Sponsorship of Private Donors: Focusing on Mediation Effect of Organizational Identification and Moderation Effect of their Financial Status (사회복지조직에 대한 이미지, 신뢰성, 반응성이 개인 기부자의 후원지속성에 미치는 영향: 조직동일시의 매개효과와 경제형편의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The study aims at verifying the effect of the image, trust and responsiveness to social welfare organizations on continuing the sponsorship of private donors, the mediating effect of the organizational identification and the moderating effect of their financial status. As a result of causal analysis of the variables by structural equation models, regardless of donors' financial status, social welfare organizations' image, trust and responsiveness has no direct effect on continuing the sponsorship. Among the donors in relatively good financial status, social welfare organizations' image, trust and responsiveness positively have direct effects on organizational identification, which has a direct effect on continuing the sponsorship. That is, the image, trust and responsiveness influence the continuity of the sponsorship through the full mediating effect of organizational identification. On the other hand, among relatively poor donors, only the organizations' image and trust positively influence the organizational identification, The direct and indirect effects on the continuity of the sponsorship are different according to the private donors' financial status, which means that the moderating effect of the donors' financial status is proved. The result of latent mean analysis regarding 5 main latent variables according to the private donors' financial status, shows the significant difference in the continuity of sponsorship only(Mean= .197, Cohen's D=.779). By emphasizing that Organizational identification is a critical factor in terms of enhancing the continuity of sponsorship, some practical implications are discussed based on the study's findings.

  • The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of CSR identity on customer-corporate identification and to explore the effect of customer-corporate identification on consumers' affective commitment and behavioral commitment intention. Indeed, this study investigated the mediating role of affective commitment in linking customer-corporate identification and behavioral commitment intention. Results found CSR identity to be a statistically significant construct that has an impact on consumers' customer-corporate identification. The result also showed that customer-corporate identification had positive effect on customers' affective commitment and behavioral commitment intention. And affective commitment was found to be a statistically non significant mediator that explaining the relationship between customer-corporate identification and behavioral commitment intention.

  • This paper deals with motion identification using artificial neural network (ANN) and its application to automatic ship berthing. As ship motions are expressed by multi-term non-linear model, it is very difficult to find optimal methods for automatic ship berthing especially under environmental disturbances. In this paper, metier identification was used to estimate the effect of environmental disturbances and then the differences between values of identification and state variables are used to estimate the effect of environmental disturbances.   • The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of interpersonal face-to-face offline on identification-based trust and reciprocity norm in online world, and the effect of identification-based trust and reciprocity norm on the intention and behavior of sharing information in online world. To understand the moderating role, the importance of information was established as a moderating variable, and an empirical analysis was conducted, focusing on the undergraduate. The results of this study are as follows. It was found that interpersonal face-to-face in offline world affects identification-based trust and reciprocity norm in online positively. A reciprocity norm of identification-based trust and reciprocity norm in online world affected by interpersonal face-to-face in offline world has a positive effect on the intention and behavior of sharing information in online, but showed that identification-based trust does not affect them significantly. And reciprocity norm has significant relationship with information sharing behavior through the intention to share information. It was found to be a partial moderating effect of importance of information on the relationship among the reciprocity norm and the intention and behavior of sharing information.

A Structural Damage Identification Method Based on Spectral Element Model and Frequency Response Function

  • A spectral element model-based structural damage identification method (SDIM) was derived in the previous study by using the damage-induced changes in frequency response functions. However the previous SDIM often provides poor damage identification results because the nonlinear effect of damage magnitude was not taken into account. Thus, this paper improves the previous SDIM by taking into account the nonlinear effect of damage magnitude. Accordingly an iterative solution method is used in this study to solve the nonlinear matrix equation for local damages distribution. The present SDIM is evaluated through the numerically simulated damage identification tests.

  • The response sensitivity method in time domain has been applied extensively for damage identification. In this paper, the relationship between the error of damage identification and the sensitivity matrix is investigated through perturbation analysis. An index is defined according to the perturbation amplify effect and an optimal sensor placement method is proposed based on the minimization of that index. A sequential sub-optimal algorithm is presented which results in consistently good location selection. Numerical simulations with a two-dimensional high truss structure are conducted to validate the proposed method. Results reveal that the damage identification using the optimal sensor placement determined by the proposed method can identify multiple damages of the structure more accurately.

  • This work is proposed an alternative identification method of outlying cell which is one of important issues in categorical data analysis. One finds that there is a strong relationship between the location of an outlying cell and the corresponding parameter estimates of the well-fitted log-linear model. Among parameters of log-linear model, an outlying cell is affected by interaction terms rather than main effect terms. Hence one could identify an outlying cell by investigating of parameter estimates in an appropriate log-linear model.
