비용절감형 컨버터 구조를 갖는 3상-3상 PWM 정류기/인버터 시스템 (Novel Converter Topology for a Three Phase to Three Phase PWM Rectifier/Inverter System)

  • A current controlled VSI-PWM rectifier and inverter with capacitor dc link is regarded as one of the most promising structures for three-phase to three-phase to three-phase power conversion. This type of converter normally requires twelve switches for a rectifier and inverter composed of self turn-off switch such as a bi-polar transistor or IGBT with an anti-parallel diode. In this paper, a new three-phase to three-phase converter for ac motor drives is proposed. The proposed converter employs only eight switches and has the capability of delivering sinusoidal input currents with unity power factor and bidirectional power flow. This paper describes the feasibility and the operational limitations of the proposed structure. A mathematical model of the system is derived using generalized modulation theory and experimental results for steady state and dynamic behavior are presented to verify the developed model.

Analytical Formulation for the Everett Function

  • The Preisach model neds a density function or Everett function for the hysterisis operator to simulate the hysteresis phenomena. To obtain the function, many experimental data for the first order transition curves are required. However, it needs so much efforts to measure the curves, especially for the hard magnetic materials. By the way, it is well known that the density function has the Gaussian distribution for the interaction axis on the Preisach plane. In this paper, we propose a simple technique to determine the distribution function or Everett function analytically. The initial magnetization curve is used for the distribution of the Everett function for the coercivity axis. A major, minor loop and the initial curve are used to get the Everett function for the interaction axis using the Gaussian distribution function and acceptable results were obtained.

  • Au and $Au/SiO_2$ nanoparticles(NPs) were synthesized by the colloidal method. The formation of Au and $Au/SiO_2$ NPs was confirmed using high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). Synthesized solutions were deposited on Si wafer. The electrical properties of structures were measured using a semiconductor analyzer and a LCR meter. Capacitance versus voltage hysterisis curves showed the charge storage effect by Au and $Au/SiO_2$ NPs.

  • This paper presents the fabrication procedure and the experiments for the 3-axis fine positioning stage proposed in[1]. First, the dynamic characteristics of the actuator and the stage are tested with the preload changed in order to validate the stage design specifications. Secondly, the performance of the stage is also evaluated on the accuracy associated with linear positioning, angular error, and straightness error. Experimental results show that the developed stage is accurate enough to be used for nanometer positioning. Through the analysis and experiment, the developed fine positioning stage are found to have a long stroke due to the magnetically preloaded PZT actuators, the minimum motion crosstalk due to the use of a ball contact mechanism and the compact design.

  • Due to high permeability of the ferrite core, the characteristics of the ICP are expected to be greatly improved. We investigated the effect of the ferrite cores on conventional inductively coupled plasma. It was observed that the current and voltage in ike ICP antenna are slightly decreased and the power transfer efficiency is increased. However, due to eddy current and hysterisis loss, plasma density in the ICP with the ferrite cores is not increased. It seems that the ICP with the ferrite cores at low frequency (${\~}$100kHz) will be greatly improved since the losses at the low frequency can be negligible.

$V_{1-x}M_xO_2$박막의 thermochromism에 대한 연구 (A study on the thermochromism of $V_{1-x}M_xO_2$thin film)

  • "Smart window"에 코팅재료로 쓰이는 thermochromic $Vo_{2}$박막을 전자빔 증착 방법으로 유리 기판위에 증착시켜 $0^{\circ}C$-$90^{\circ}C$ 온도범위에서 가시광 및 근적외선의 투과율을 spectrophotometer로 측정하였다. $300^{\circ}C$의 기판온도와 $400^{\circ}C$ 어닐링 온도가 $VO_{2}$ 박막이 결정화되기 때문인 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, $VO_{2}$박막을 알곤중에서 어닐링하면 500nm이하의 파장에서는 그 투과율이 상당히 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. W가 5a/0첨가된 $V_{0.95}W_{0.05}O_{2}$박막은 약 $0^{\circ}C$의 천이돈도를 나타내었고 Sn이 0.5a/o $V_{0.995}W_{0.005}O_{2}$박막의 경우에는 $300^{\circ}C$의 기판온도에서 증착한 후 $450^{\circ}C$/5시간 동안 알곤가스 중에서 어닐링하였을때 뚜렷한 thermochromism을 나타내었으며 이 박막의 천이온도는 실용가능한 온도인 약 $25^{\circ}C$로 발견되었으며 약간의 이력곡선이 나타났다.력곡선이 나타났다.

Velvet직물의 역학적 특성과 태(태) (A Study on the Mechanical Properties and Handle of Velvet Fabrics)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine and to evaluate the properties of pile materials to produce velvet fabrics which have excellent handle. In order to perform this purpose, the mechanical properties, hand value (H.V.), total hand value (T.H.V.), total appearance value (T.A.V.) of acetate, cuprammonium rayon, cotton materials for velvet as the typical commercial Pile fabric were measured and analyzed by KES-F system. The important results obtained by this study are as follows. 1 For acetate pile, elogational deformation was easy and bending rigidity of weft was high and elastic recovery was excellent compared with the other materials. 2. Cuprammonium rayon velvet was shown that pile bending rigidity and hysterisis were low. Cotton velvet was shown that compressional energy was high and compressinal elasticity was exellent. 3. In the case that specimens were applied by men's winter suit program, H.V was shown that Koshi of acetate velvet was similar to that of cotton. Numeri of cuprammonium rayon velvet was higher than the others and Fukurami values for all of the three fabrics were similar. 4. But in case that specimens were applied by women's winter suit program Koshi of cuprammonium rayon velvet was lower. But Numeri of that was higher than the others and Fukurami for all of the three fabrics were similar and Sofutosa of cotton velvet was lower than the others. T.H.V. of the acetate velvet was the highest in men's winter suit program while cuprammonium rayon velvet was the highest in women's winter suit program T.A.V. of acetate velvet was highest.

  • $V_2O_5$ 나노선/폴리비닐 알코올(PVA) 고분자 복합체를 나일론 제조법을 응용하여 제작하였고 전기적 특성을 연구하였다. PVA가 아세톤, 에탄올, 메탄올 등의 벤젠기와 반응하여 얇은 막을 형성하는 것을 이용하여 나일론 섬유 제작방법과 유사하게 실타래를 감아올려 나노선 섬유가 섞인 폴리머 섬유를 만들었다. 폴리머-나노선 복합체는 내부에서 전도성이 있는 $V_2O_5$나노선 다발이 네트워크를 형성하기 때문에 전자기장을 차폐할 수 있는 고분자 섬유 등에 적용할 수 있다.

벼 상온통풍건조의 최소풍량비에 관한 연구 (Minimum Specific Airflow Rate Requirements for Natural Air Drying of Rough Rice in Korea)

  • The purposes of this study were to develop a simulation model and to determine minimum specific airflow rate requirements for natural air drying of rough rice in Korea. A simulation model was developed considering energy and mass balances within grain bed, drying and rewetting rates, and hysterisis effect between sorption and desorption isotherms. As the results of validation test, the moisture contents predicted by the model agreed very well with the actual data. The criteria for determining minimum specific airflow rate requirements was that the top loom layer in the bin be dried to a moisture content below 16 percent wet basis with less than 0.5% drymatter decomposition. The minimum specific airflow rate requirements in 13 locations of Korea were presented based on the worst one among the past 7 to 13-year weather data. These requirements were also presented for all the combinations of three harvest dates and four harvest moisture contents. Specific airflow rate requirements seemed to be half by each 2 percent reduction in moisture content from 24 percent. As harvest date was delayed by 10 days from October 1, these requirements were reduced by about 20 to 40 percent.

  • In this paper, we investigated the electrical characteristics through DC power at manufacturing the MIS capacitor insulator AIN thin film based on reactive sputtering method. In case of deposition temperature 250$^{\circ}C$, pressure 5mTorr, total flow rate 8sccm(Ar:4sccm N2:4sccm), AIN thin film was deposited with changing DC power. As DC power increses, resistivity is observed a little increase. When AIN thin film is deposited at 100W, the result shows leakage current 10$\^$-8/A/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 0.1MV/cm. Otherwise, In case of depositing at 150W and 200W, the result shows that the characteristic of leakage current is under 10$\^$-9//$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 0.1MV/cm. In C-V characteristic with DC power, deep depletion phenomenon is observed at inversion region in 100W and 150W. In 200W, that phenomenon, however, was showed to decrease. It shows that the hysterisis increases with being increasing DC power.
