This article aims to examine the achievement and limitation of adaptation of supply chain management (SCM) to IT human resource development (HRD) in Korea and to derive the implication of the Korean experience to other countries. In late 1990s, the IT New Deal Policy and the quantitative expansion of IT HR were introduced. Since mid-2000s, there has been much innovation in IT products as well as increased demand of highly qualified IT experts. The SCM in IT HRD was introduced in 2004 and continuously developed more. Since the late 2000s, IT convergence expanded to traditional industries and the new IT-based-industries were created in Korea. In this regard, Korea established the Seoul Accord as an international IT engineering education accreditation system in 2008. In response to the paradigm change, in 2011, the Korean government developed TOPCIT, which is a kind of competency test for evaluating IT competency.

Mushrooms are a recognized component of the human diet, with versatile medicinal properties. Some mushrooms are popular worldwide for their nutritional and therapeutic properties. However, some species are dangerous because they cause toxicity. There are many reports explaining the medicinal and/or toxic effects of these fungal species. Cases of serious human poisoning generally caused by the improper identification of toxic mushroom species are reported every year. Different substances responsible for the fatal signs and symptoms of mushroom toxicity have been identified from various poisonous mushrooms. Toxicity studies of mushroom species have demonstrated that mushroom poisoning can cause adverse effects such as liver failure, bradycardia, chest pain, seizures, gastroenteritis, intestinal fibrosis, renal failure, erythromelalgia, and rhabdomyolysis. Correct categorization and better understanding are essential for the safe and healthy consumption of mushrooms as functional foods as well as for their medicinal use.

This study investigated the factors influencing married men's time allocation in housework. A multidimentional theoritical approach employing the perspectives of time availability, relative resourse, sex-role ideology was employed to explain variations in husbands' participation in housework. In addition, the effects of several socio-demographic variables were investigated. Data for 226 cases were gathered from using structured qustionnaire and time diary. Results indicated that the sex-role ideology perspective was significantly supported, and the time availability perspective was partially supported. On the other hand, no significant evidence was found for the effect of relative resourse on husbands' housework. The age of husbands in socio-demographic variables had a significant effect on the amount of husbands' housework time.

The purpose of this study was to suggest the data of base for automated underwear manufacture by analyzing the technology of the automated underwear manufacturing facilities in the area of Jeonbuk with a focus on Jeonju and Iksan. The case study samples were 6 underwear firms. The results were as follows : 1. Automated underwear manufacturing systems in the area of JeonBuk introduced over the entire period between 1990 and 1997. Most of Their production type was multi-kind and small-quantity production. 2. They were using Gerber, Assyst, Lectra, Microdynamics and Investronica systems as the CAD/CAM system, of which the Gerber system was mostly used by them. 3. In the stage of production planning and in the stage of preparation for production, most of them realized automation, but in the stage of main production, every firm did not realize automation. In most cases, they used both the stage of mechanization and the stage of unit process automation.

This paper presents, with some actual cases of employing clear case, as a R&D project configuration management tool, a new methodology for the evaluation and enhancement of project performance in R&D organization. This methodology enables you to forecast future results of the project with story telling skill, to innovate R&D project execution using the concept of Technology Supply Chain with global R&D human resources, to improve the performance of each development stage based on the voices of customer, and to enhance the quality of output and to minimize risk of project with timely positioning of R&D human resources.

In most cases, a crane is controlled by an open-loop technique. That is, the controller tries to follow a given velocity profile that is designed to minimize the swing of rope and the transfer time. But such a system is not capable of handling various disturbances such as changing rope length and wind effect. In order to overcome this kind of difficulty, this research focuses on the design of a feedback controller using intelligent techniques such as fuzzy logic and neural network. These intelligent techniques has been emplyoyed in order to represent human knowledge and to imitate human learning. The deveped controllers have been evaluated via computer simulation

Owing to the advent of ubiquitous computing technologies, the concept of Intelligent Environments has emerged, as an alternative approach to overcome the limitation of the built environment. Intelligent Environments can be more responsive to user-and context-specific human activities by automatically and dynamically modifying their settings without explicit human intervention. However, the conventional approach to the development of Intelligent Environments has mainly focused on the technical issues without paying much attention to the dynamic interrelationship between the user and the built environment. Therefore, differing or conflicting needs of multiple simultaneous users remain unresolved. The objective of this study is to present types of environmental conflicts and their resolution through agent collaboration and negotiation. For the demonstration and validation of the conflict resolution process, a set of hypothetical test cases is simulated in a 3D test environment. The result of the case simulations shows that the proposed approach is computationally feasible and applicable to the development of Intelligent Environments, and, furthermore, it can overcome the drawback of the conventional approach.

The purpose of this study Is to analyze the homepage contents of an auction site on the Internet. This study collected 459 cases of purchasing and selling notes, and classified them into three types. The finding showed that some of the most frequently-occurring consumer problems are concerned with delivery and return, and sellers manner. On the other hand, consumers' manner is important to sellers. The auction site itself has problems with consultation and its own system.

This study was conducted to provide a foundation for housewife-consumer education programs appropriate in the information society. For this purpose, the authors reviewed existing literature, analysed consumer counseling cases, and conducted focus group interviews. The need for housewife-consumer education was illustrated, and desirable educational contents and methods were proposed. The existing housewife-consumer education programs did not work effectively because the contents were too general, and mostly structured with non-interactive one-way lectures. More effective programs should be designed to accomodate the educational purpose and contents which fitted with the specific needs of housewives as the representatives of the family consumer units. It should also take the family life cycle stages into consideration. The education programs would work better when they were oriented more toward actively participating, locally-based spontaneous small-groups.

Cutaneous injuries stung by jellyfish are not uncommon in human exposed to marine environments. Most of the cases occur to scuba divers, fishermen, and travelers swimming at the beach. The symptoms vary from mild dermatosis to fatal systemic reaction. Some group of jellyfish like Atlantic Portuguese man-of-war (Physalia physalis) provokes acute severe skin injuries with systemic symptoms of nausea, bradycardia, and rarely anaphylaxis. But it is unusual case that allergic dermatitis caused by Scyphistoma which is polyp stage of jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) happened to zoo keepers working at indoor dolphin pool. This case report is about dermatosis with symptoms such as painful, irritant, itching, and erupted skin lesions on the neck and face of zoo keepers working at dolphinarium in Seoul zoo, Korea.
