  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 모든곳에 존재하는 네트워크라는 의미로서 언제, 어디서나, 누구나 대용량의 통신망을 사용할 수 있음을 가리킨다. 유비쿼터스는 분산되어 있는 수많은 컴퓨터들이 서로 연결되어 있어서 사람이 컴퓨터들을 의식하지 않고도 자연스럽게 컴퓨팅 기술을 이용할 수 있는 컴퓨팅 환경을 뜻한다. 현재의 유비쿼터스 연구는 미국. 일본, 유럽등 주요 선진국에서 중점적으로 연구되고 있으며, IT분야의 새로운 핫이슈로 되고있다. 본 연구에서는 미국, 일본, 유럽의 유비쿼터스 시장의 발전 전략과 동향을 살펴보고, 한국에서의 유비쿼터스를 기반으로 하는 정보화 사회, 그리고 새로운 패러다임의 u-Korea 비전을 밝혀 보고자 한다.

200kW급 마이크로 가스터빈 시스템의 설계 변수 민감도 해석 (Design Parameter Sensitivity Analysis of a 200kW Class Micro Gas Turbine System)

  • This paper describes the outcome of the design of a 200 kW class micro gas turbine and the sensitivity of its performance (efficiency and power) to the variations in major design parameters. The reference design parameters were set up based on the best available component technologies. The resulting net electricity generation efficiency of the micro gas turbine package was found to be competitive to those of other systems in the market. The sensitivities of power and efficiency to the variations in compressor and turbine efficiencies, pressure ratio, turbine inlet temperature, recuperator effectiveness, secondary air ratio, pressure loss ratios of both the cold and hot sides of the recuperator were estimated. Based on the sensitivity data, a simplified method to predict the variation in system performance responding to the combinations of small changes in all design parameters were set up and validated.

서열스트레스 경감을 위한 비닐하우스 작업복 개발 (Development of Functional Fatigue Clothes for Plastic Greenhouse Workers)

  • It is a normal circumstance to have high temperature and high humidity in Greenhouses even though these climates are changed by the area, season, climates, the size of the greenhouse, and the crops being raised. Workers in the greenhouses have complained about their uncomfortable work environment and discomfort from the hot conditions, including sunburn. The farmers' ailments are not significantly different between those working in the in greenhouses and those working in the fields. The Farmers' syndrome was almost two times higher for women than those of men for greenhouse workers. This study was developed for functional fatigue clothes for plastic greenhouses which are known for high temperatures and humidity. The ergonomic function and thermal comforts of fatigue clothes were evaluated in the climatic chamber($30.0^{\circ}C$, 70.0%R.H.). The current fatigue clothes which are made of cotton or nylon were purchased at the market. The developed clothes are made of highly absorbent and high speed drying polyester. And these fabrics have excellent elasticity. In this study, the functional fatigue clothes were designed with longsleeved sport shirts and Full length pants. Tre, Tsk, Hcl, HR and the personal subjective sensations such as heat, humidity, and comfortableness were significantly lower when subjects wore the developed clothes made with polyester than the previous attire.

전자파 차단 보호복의 온열쾌적성 평가 (Thermal Comfort Evaluation of Protective Clothing for Shielding Electromagnetic Waves)

  • The present study was performed on humans to investigate the physiological strain of wearing protective clothing for shielding electromagnetic waves and to compare control clothing that are currently on the market and new clothing that are developed for improving thermal comfort and material weight. Experiments were conducted in a climatic chamber of $28.8{\pm}0.6^{\circ}C$, $37{\pm}5%$RH under three differed experimental clothing conditions: None, Control, New. The results were as follows. Mean skin temperature and rectal temperature in New were significantly lower than that in None and Control (p<.05). The temperature and humidity inside clothing were lower in None (p<.05). Total weight loss was lower in New. Thermal sensation and thermal comfort were less hot and more comfortable in New than those in Control. It was concluded that wearing the protective clothing for shielding electromagnetic waves affects physiological responses such as distribution of body temperature, sweat rate, etc.

분리막 제습공조시스템의 잠열부하 저감효과 예측 (Prediction of Latent Heat Load Reduction Effect of the Dehumidifying Air-Conditioning System with Membrane)

  • The summer climate is very hot and humid in Korea. The humidity is an important factor in determining thermal comfort. Recently, the research for dehumidification device development has been attempted to save energy that is required for the operation of the current dehumidifiers on the market. Existing dehumidification systems have disadvantages such as wasting energy to drive a compressor. Meanwhile, dehumidification systems with membranes can dehumidify humid air without increasing the dry bulb temperature so it doesn't have to consume cooling energy. In this paper, the cooling energy savings was studied when a dehumidification system was applied in a model building instead of a chiller. The sensible heat load was almost the same result, but the latent heat load was decreased by 38.9% and the total heat load was decreased by 8.5%. As a result, electric energy used to drive the compressor in a chiller was saved by applying a membrane air-conditioning system instead.

  • 자동배설처리기는 현재 배뇨 혹은 배변 장애가 있는 노인들에게 사용되고 있는 기저귀를 대치할 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다. 이 장치들은 소변이나 대변을 감지하고, 본체에서 운반된 세정수로 배설기관들을 씻어주고, 이 배설물을 본체의 오물 저장용기에 흡입하여 보관하였다가 버릴 수 있도록 하며, 배설기관 주위를 본체에서 공급하는 온풍으로 건조할 수 있다. 따라서 이 장치들은 간병인의 수고를 경감시키고 환자의 위생을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 소변과 대변을 감지하는 장치와 자동배설처리기의 주요 구조를 살펴보고 현재 사용되고 있는 자동배설처리 장치들을 기기별 특징에 따라 분류하고자 하였다.

  • Currently a hot potato in industries is to reduce the lifecycle of product and maximize the time-to-market benefits. A lot of methodologies and the concrete systems are in use for performing this function. One of these systems is that process are reconstructed by BPR and systems are implemented by PDM. First of all, th analyses of existing product, process and resource data must be preceded. New process is established on the basis of the analyzed information of a company and PDM implements the new process in the company. The consecutive activities like this provide the basic environment for CIM. However, the current system have been developed on the favor of a big company. There are many problems in applying it too a mid-sized company. A lot of function in a PDM tool is not necessary for the mid-sized CIM characteristic. The purpose of this study is to define the ROPP information model that is an appropriate information integration for a design process. The model shows an associated complicated information of a company effectively. Also the modeler makes it possible to manage consistently the constraints of design process on the basis of the analysis of dependency among each resource.

  • Fetishism originated from the cultural and social products is related to many aspects of arts and sciences ; postmodernism psychoanalysis and subculture of pornography. Fetishism was reflected on fashion and now has been one of hot issues in high fashion, Waist was one of the erotic zone of body both in man and woman and sadomasockhistic fetishism was originated from physical damages on this zone. The aim of this experiment was to study what kind of fetishism was revealed on fashion especially in women and men's underwear fetish. In conclusion fetishism which has a long history and now been a one of popular high fashions in Western society is still unfamiliar to Korean fashion society. Researches of fetishism including deviant sex was still restricted in Korean society due to "Confuncianism" which has been a ruling philosophies in Korean culture. However the sex moral in modern Korean society is now being generous year by year and sex is no more a toboo to talk with. Fashion fashion will increase its market share in near future in Korea and 력\ulcorner studies of fetishism is needed.

신기능성 표면처리강판 제조기술의 최근 진보 (Recent Progress in New Functional Coating Technology)

  • The coated steels, mainly with zinc by either hot-dip galvanizing or electroplating, are widely used for panels of automotive, electrical appliances and construction, whose size of world market have reached 130 million tons in 2008. Current issues for the coated steels can be integrated in terms of high functionality, low cost, environment-friend and available resource. The best solution can be provided if thin layer coating with higher quality is produced by an eco-friendly process, and PVD, physical vapor deposition, can be an alternative practice to existing coating processes. PVD technologies have been very common ones in electronic and semiconductor industries, but recognized as non-profitable processes for the coated steels due to low process speed and lack of continuous operation skills. Systematic researches from 1990s in Europe, even though discouraged by a shutdown of the first Japanese PVD coating plant in 1999, have realized several continuous PVD coating plants, and also enhanced launching of developments in steel industries. To be successful with PVD coating technologies over existing ones, productivity to meet economics should be created from a highly sophisticated process. Some PVD technologies fit for the high-speed process will be introduced together with experiences from industrial applications.

Capital Structure and Trade-Off Theory: Evidence from Vietnam

  • The capital structure is one of the hot financial topics among researchers and scholars. Its importance comes from the fact that capital structure is closely related to companies' ability to meet different stakeholders' needs. A suitable capital structure will boost the business and create a competitive advantage in the context of fierce competition. Many companies choose an optimal debt level based on the trade-off between interest and debt costs. This study aimed to test the existence of trade-off theory in capital structure, the case of Vietnam's real estate companies, which are growing very fast recently. Instead of considering constant optimal leverage to test the trade-off model, we take advantage of the dynamic capital structure determined by growth opportunities, profitability, tax incentives, tangibility, liquidity, and firm size. The dynamic panel data regression was estimated by the system Generalized Method of Moment (Sys-GMM). The empirical evidence showed that real estate companies listed in the Vietnamese stock market might change their leverage toward a target capital structure determined by influential factors in a long-term perspective. In particular, the debt-to-asset ratio will change by approximately 14 percent, positively, in response to the difference between the current debt-to-asset ratio and the dynamic target debt-to-asset ratio.
