올림픽 개최국가 유니폼의 색채 특성과 이미지 (The Color Characteristics and Image of the Olympic Host Country's Uniforms)

  • Today the Olympics are considered representative of a culture that symbolizes the country's image and cultural specificity, and important colors act as effective means of Olympics marketing. Each color is unique to the natural environment and cultural heritage is one of the languages of each country, region or community and it symbolizes. Hence, the purpose of this study was to examine the color and to view the color image displayed on Olympic uniforms based on the national color sensibility. After analyzing the color image of the Olympic athletes, including six kinds of uniforms and operational personnel, a cool casual/casual image is created more frequently, followed by a modern, gorgeous, dynamic, elegant/chic, dandy/classic image. The uniform color is consistent with the national image and the theme of the Pyeongchang Olympics is to enhance the country's competitiveness by widely promoting the national image of Korea around the world. Furthermore, it is necessary to provide the empirical basis for creating the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic uniforms.

자율 이동로봇의 장애물 회피 및 경로계획에 대한 간략화 알고리즘과 복합 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A study on Simple and Complex Algorithm of Self Controlled Mobile Robot for the Obstacle Avoidance and Path Plan)

  • 본 논문에서는 자율 이동로봇이 장애물을 회피하며 목표하는 지점까지의 경로를 구성하여 찾아가는 두가지 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째는 PC를 이용하여 영상처리를 수행하고 로봇의 이동경로를 계산해 주는 간략화 된 알고리즘이다. 둘째는 PC등의 보조수단이 없는 자율 이동로봇의 이동을 위한 복합 알고리즘이다. 첫 번째 알고리즘은 CCD카메라로부터 획득한 영상신호를 RF an선 모듈을 이용하여 PC로 보내고 PC에서 영상 전처리 과정을 거친 후, 장애물로 인식되면 회피할 제어 신호를 이동로봇으로 전송하는 것이다. 이동로봇에 탑재된 CCD카메라에서 획득한 영상 정보는 매 샘플링 시간마다 캡쳐하여 PC로 전송하면 호스트는 화면에서 장애물이 차지하는 비율을 따져서 장애물의 유무를 판별한 후 좌 혹은 우로 회전하여 장애물을 회피하고 이동한 거리를 PC로 전송하는 시스템을 구현하여 초기에 지정한 목표지점까지 로봇이 갈 수 있도록 간략한 경로를 계획하여 추적해 나가는 알고리즘을 구현해 보고자 한다. 두 번째는 이동하고자 하는 입력 영상의 환경의 조명 조건이 불연속이거나 장애물의 크기나 색상이 다른 여러 가지 그레이 레벨을 갖는 분할된 장애물이 있을 때 로봇이 자율적으로 이동하도록 하여 장애물이 나타나면 회피하여 최종 목적지를 찾아가도록 하는 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 여기에서는 영상 전처리 과정과 장애물을 인식할 수 있도록 Labeling과 Segmentation을 통한 pixel의 밀도 계산이 도입된다.

Reversible Data Hiding Scheme Based on Maximum Histogram Gap of Image Blocks

  • In this paper a reversible data hiding scheme based on histogram shifting of host image blocks is presented. This method attempts to use full available capacity for data embedding by dividing the image into non-overlapping blocks. Applying histogram shifting to each block requires that extra information to be saved as overhead data for each block. This extra information (overhead or bookkeeping information) is used in order to extract payload and recover the block to its original state. A method to eliminate the need for this extra information is also introduced. This method uses maximum gap that exists between histogram bins for finding the value of pixels that was used for embedding in sender side. Experimental results show that the proposed method provides higher embedding capacity than the original reversible data hiding based on histogram shifting method and its improved versions in the current literature while it maintains the quality of marked image at an acceptable level.

  • A three-dimensional digital image processing technique is proposed to quantitatively predict the dispersion phenomena of oil droplet onto the surface of the water. This technique is able to get the dispersion rate of an oil droplet three-dimensionally just below the surface of the water over time. The obtained dispersion rate obtained through this technique is informative to the investigation into the relationship among the gravity, surface tensions between oil, water, and air. This technique is based upon the three-dimensional PIV(Particle Imaging Velocimetry) technique and its system mainly consists of a three CCD(Charge Coupled Device) cameras, an image grabber, and a host computer in which an image processing algorithm is adopted for the acquisition of dispersion rate oil an oil droplet.

  • A digital image processing technique which is able to get the velocity vector distribution of a surface of the spilled oil in the ocean without contacting the flow itself. This technique is based upon the PIV(Particle Imaging Velocimetry) technique and its system mainly consists of a high sensitive camera, a CCD camera, an image grabber, and a host computer in which an image processing algorithm is adopted for velocity vector acquisition. For the acquisition of the advective velocity vector of floating matters on the ocean, a new multi-frame tracking algorithm is proposed, and for the acquisition of the diffusion velocity vector distribution of the spilt oil onto the water surface, a high sensitive gray-level cross-correlation algorithm is proposed.

  • In this paper, we present an adaptive image filter using genetic algorithm. The filter is robust to the characteristic variance of image and noise, by evolving the parameter and combination of image preprocessors properly. And we have adopted adaptive mutation strategy, which use different mutation rate for specific region of chromosome. The filter is implemented on FPGA board and controlled by host PC.

  • 오늘날 다양한 서버 내 가상화 기술 중 도커(Docker)는 기존의 방식보다 경량화된 서비스 운영 환경을 제공함으로써 많은 기업 환경에 도입되고 있다. 도커는 이미지, 컨테이너 개념을 통해 서버 환경 구축, 업데이트, 이동을 효율적으로 할 수 있게 지원한다. 도커가 많이 보급될수록 도커 이미지를 배포하는 서버나 도커 기반의 호스트에 대한 공격 유인이 증가할 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서 도커 데몬이 비활성화 된 상태에서도 컨테이너의 파일 시스템을 추출할 수 있는 방안을 포함하여 도커를 사용하는 호스트에 대한 포렌식 조사 기법과 그 절차를 제시하였다.

유도탄 성능분석을 위한 실시간 병렬처리 시뮬레이터 연구 (Study on Real-time Parallel Processing Simulator for Performance Analysis of Missiles)

  • In this paper, we describe the real-time parallel processing simulator developed for the use of performance analysis of rolling missiles. The real-time parallel processing simulator developed here consists of seeker emulator generating infrared image signal on aircraft, real-time computer, host computer, system unit, and actual equipments such as auto-pilot processor and seeker processor. Software is developed from mathematic models, 6 degree-of-freedom module, aerodynamic module which are resided in real-time computer, and graphic user interface program resided in host computer. The real-time computer consists of six TIC-40 processors connected in parallel. The seeker emulator is designed by using analog circuits coupled with mechanical equipments. The system unit provides interface function to match impedance between the components and processes very small electrical signals. Also real launch unit of missiles is interfaced to simulator through system unit. In order to apply the real-time parallel processing simulator to performance analysis equipment of rolling missiles it is essential to perform the performance verification test of simulator.

  • In this paper, we report a system specifications of Hi-resolution and four-screen stereo image projection system which was established in VBL(Venture Business Laboratory) at Tokyo Institute of Technology on 3rd July 1996. The system is 3m $\times$ 3m $\times$2.2m rectangular parallelepiped composed of three 150inch side screens and floor. Host computers can generate virtual environment s in real-time and four projecters project these images to the screens. Viewers are, therefore, surrounded by these screens and an illusion of immersion can be created. Because, the views of users are completely covered with the projection images and many kinds of interactive devices can be used in this system. Moreover, many users can have experience the virtual environments at the same time. Usually, this kind of system uses hi-performance graphics workstations for host computers. One is SGI(Silicon Graphics, Inc.) Onyx with 3 Reality Engines. The other system is 4 personal computers. Because hi-performance and low price graphics accelerators for personal computer have been developed in these years, the abilities of VR(Virtual Reality) systems based on personal computers should be investigated.
