특허 동시분류분석과 텍스트마이닝을 활용한 사물인터넷 기술융합 분석 (Analyzing Technological Convergence for IoT Business Using Patent Co-classification Analysis and Text-mining)

  • 최근 기술융합의 핵심현상으로 사물인터넷이 대두되면서 사물인터넷의 기술트렌드 및 기술융합에 관해 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구들의 대부분이 사물인터넷 기술 동향에 대한 정성적 연구에 그치고 있어 기술융합의 구체적 양상을 파악하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 특허 데이터를 기술의 대용데이터로 간주하고, 동시 분류분석과 텍스트마이닝을 바탕으로 사물인터넷 융합 네트워크를 구축하고 융합의 특성을 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 사물인터넷의 융합을 일으키는 주요 기술군을 디바이스, 네트워크, 플랫폼, 서비스 네 가지로 정의한 후, "Internet of Things" 키워드를 중심으로 미국 특허청에서 수집된 923개 특허의 클래스를 네 가지 기술군에 할당하여 이들 간 관계를 파악하였다. 대부분의 클래스 및 키워드가 디바이스에 관련되어 있으므로, 본 연구에서는 융합 현상을 디바이스 융합과 전체 융합으로 나누어 기술융합 양상을 파악하였다. 디바이스 중심의 사물인터넷 기술을 분석한 결과 센서 디바이스를 비롯한 헬스케어 디바이스, 냉장 및 냉동 장치, 에너지관리 디바이스, 로봇, 임베디드 등이 주요 융합 그룹으로 도출되었다. 전체 기술을 대상으로 분석한 결과 사물인터넷 요소기술을 중심으로 스마트 헬스케어, 스마트 홈, 무인자동차 등 사물인터넷의 다양한 응용영역들이 기술융합을 이루고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 본 연구 결과는 사물인터넷 기술융합 활성화를 위한 정책 및 전략 수립에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

가공조건에 따른 볶음보리 추출물의 아질산염 소거작용 (Nitrite-scavenging Effects of Roasted-barley Extracts according to Processing Conditions)

  • 전통 기호음료의 하나인 볶음보리 추출물을 사용하여 발암성 니트로사민의 직접적인 생성인자인 아질산염 소거작용을 검토하였는데, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 볶음보리 추출물의 수율은 볶음온도와 볶음시간에 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. $230^{\circ}C$에서 60분간 볶았을 때에 수율이 가장 많았으며, 이 때의 수율은 28.5%였다. 아질산염 소거작용은 pH 1.2, 3.0에서는 반응시간과 더불어 증가하였고, pH6.0에서는 2시간 까지는 증가하였으나, 그 이후부터는 큰 변화를 나타내지 않았다. 볶음보리 추출물의 아질산염 소거작용은 볶음온도와 시간에 영향을 받았으며, 수용성획분의 경우 $230^{\circ}C$에서 볶음 보리에서 가장 강한 것으로 나타났다. 수용성획분을 에탄올 침전획분과 에탄올 가용성획분으로 나눈 경우, 에탄올 가용성획분의 아질산염 소거작용이 가장 강한것으로 나타났다. 볶음보리 추출물과 디메칠아민의 아질산염 소거작용을 조사해 본 결과, 반응시간이 3시간 되었을 때 볶음보리 추출물에 의해서는 아질산염을 거의 100% 소거시켰으나, 디메칠아민은 30% 소거시켜, 발암성 니트로사민 생성억제에 볶음보리 추출물이 유효하다고 생각된다.

양송이, 느타리, 표고버섯의 유리아미노산 및 전아미노산 조성 (Contents of Free Amino Acids and Total Amino Acids in Agaricus bisporus, Pleurotus ostreatus and Lentinus edodes)

  • 국내에서 널리 인공재배 되고 있는 식용버섯인 양송이 (Agaricus bisporus), 느타리(Pleurotus ostreatus) 및 표고버섯(Lentinus edodes)의 부위별 유리아미노산 및 전아미노산을 아미노산 자동분석기로 비교 검토하였다. 3종의 버섯에서 18종의 아미노산들을 확인 정량하였다. 이들이 함유한 총질소의 함량은 $1.67{\sim)6.42%$이었고 단백태질소는 $0.88{\sim}2.42%$의 범위로 종류 및 부위에 따라 큰 차이를 보였으며 이들 질소화합물들은 자루보다도 갓부위에 더 높게 분포하고 있었다. 유리아미노산의 분포범위는 $10.04{\sim}37.85mg/g(dry\;weight)$, 전아미노산의 범위는 $53.37{\sim}120.15mg/g(dry\;wieht)$로 나타났다. 유리아미노산중 가장 많이 분포하는 아미노산은 glutamic acid였으며 그 다음으로는 serine, histidine, alanine 순이었다. 전아미노산중 가장 많이 분포하는 아미노산은 glutamic acid이었으며, 그 다음으로는 aspartic acid, histidine, alanine순이었다.

당류에 대한 대학생들의 인식과 섭취빈도 조사 및 단체급식용 당류 저감 메뉴 제안 (Recognition and Intake Frequency of Sugar by College Students and Suggestions on Reducing Sugar Recipes for Institutional Foodservices)

  • Purpose: Although excessive intake sugar may increase the overall energy intake, it leads to a reduction in the intake of foods containing other nutritionally adequate calories. Excessive sugar intake can also lead to an unhealthy diet, weight gain, and risk of metabolic disorders. The purpose of this study was to assess the recognition by college students, their frequency of eating sugar containing foods, and suggesting sugar reduction in the menus of institutional foodservices. Methods: A questionnaire was used to survey 145 college students to evaluate their recognition and eating frequency of consuming sugar containing foods. Subsequently, sugar reduction menus for institutional foodservice were suggested. Results: Most of the subjects (80.0%) were aware of the meaning of sugar reduction. The necessity of reducing sugar in their meals was recognized by 57.8%. These participants tended to check nutrition labeling more. Eating frequencies of sugar containing foods were not significantly different by the subjects' BMI, but they were significantly different by gender, when evaluating cooked foods. We suggested 20% sugar reduction recipes of Korean style barbequed pork, and sweet and sour chicken for institutional foodservices. Conclusion: The awareness of college students and the knowledge regarding sugar reduction were low. Sensory acceptabilities of Korean style barbequed pork and sweet and sour chicken were not significantly different, until the benefit of 20% sugar reduction was mentioned. Thus, continuous education for reduction of sugar intake are required, and also efforts are needed to develop menus containing less sugar.

화분립(花紛粒)의 영양생화학적(營養生化學的) 연구(硏究) -2. 해바라기 화분립(花紛粒)의 아미노산조성(産組成)과 RAT 간(肝) Alcoholdehydrogenase 활성(活性)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Nutritional and Biochemical Studies on the Pollen Loads -2. Amino Acid Composition of Sunflower Pollen Load and Its Effects on the Hepatic Alcohol Dehydrogenase(ADH) Activity in Rat-)

  • 화분립이 alcohol대사에 미치는 영향을 알기 위하여 아미노산을 분석하고, rat에 alcohol과 화분립을 각각 농도별로 투여하여 rat 간(肝) alcoholdehydrogenase (ADH)활성과 간(肝)조직 변화를 실험하였다. 1. 해바라기 화분립의 아미노산 조성을 분석하여 phenylalanine을 비롯한 18종의 아미노산을 정량하였으며, 필수 아미노산중 특히 phenylalanine, leucine, threonine, lysine의 함량이 많았다. 2. 실험동물의 간(肝) ADH활성은 alcohol 투여군이 alcohol농도에 비례하여 대조군 보다 현저히 저하하였으며, 화분립을 alcohol과 함께 투여함으로써, 대조군에는 미치지 않았지만 ADH활성이 증가하였고, alcohol의 농도가 낮을수록 그 증가율이 높았다. 3. 실험동물의 간(肝)조직은 alcohol투여군에서 지방침윤이 나타났으며, 화분립과 alcohol 복합투여군에서는 지방침윤이 현저히 적게 나타났다.

Ethanol extract of Innotus obliquus (Chaga mushroom) induces $G_1$ cell cycle arrest in HT-29 human colon cancer cells

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Inonotus obliquus (I. obliquus, Chaga mushroom) has long been used as a folk medicine to treat cancer. In the present study, we examined whether or not ethanol extract of I. obliquus (EEIO) inhibits cell cycle progression in HT-29 human colon cancer cells, in addition to its mechanism of action. MATERIALS/METHODS: To examine the effects of Inonotus obliquus on the cell cycle progression and the molecular mechanism in colon cancer cells, HT-29 human colon cancer cells were cultured in the presence of $2.5-10{\mu}g/mL$ of EEIO, and analyzed the cell cycle arrest by flow cytometry and the cell cycle controlling protein expression by Western blotting. RESULTS: Treatment cells with $2.5-10{\mu}g/mL$ of EEIO reduced viable HT-29 cell numbers and DNA synthesis, increased the percentage of cells in $G_1$ phase, decreased protein expression of CDK2, CDK4, and cyclin D1, increased expression of p21, p27, and p53, and inhibited phosphorylation of Rb and E2F1 expression. Among I. obliquus fractions, fraction 2 (fractionated by dichloromethane from EEIO) showed the same effect as EEIO treatment on cell proliferation and cell cycle-related protein levels. CONCLUSIONS: These results demonstrate that fraction 2 is the major fraction that induces $G_1$ arrest and inhibits cell proliferation, suggesting I. obliquus could be used as a natural anti-cancer ingredient in the food and/or pharmaceutical industry.

Effect of the Ethanol Extract of Propolis on Formation of Streptococcus mutans Biofilm

  • Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) is one of the most important bacteria in the formation of dental plaque and dental caries. S. mutans adheres to an acquired pellicle formed on the tooth surface, and aggregates with many oral bacteria. It initiates plaque formation by synthesizing glucan from sucrose, which is catalyzed by glucosyltransferases. Propolis is a resinous mixture produced by honeybees, by mixing saliva and beeswax with secretions gathered from wood sap and flower pollen. Bees prevent pathogenic invasions by coating the propolis to the outer and inner surface of the honeycomb. Propolis has traditionally been used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, asthma and dermatitis. We investigated the inhibitory effects of propolis ethanol extract on biofilm formation and gene expression of S. mutans. The biofilm formation of S. mutans was determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and safranin staining. We observed that the extract of propolis had an inhibitory effect on the formation of S. mutans biofilms at concentrations higher than 0.2 mg/ml. Real-time PCR analysis showed that the gene expression of biofilm formation, such as gbpB, spaP, brpA, relA and vicR of S. mutans, was significantly decreased in a dose dependent manner. The ethanol extract of propolis showed concentration dependent growth inhibition of S. mutans, and significant inhibition of acid production at concentrations of 0.025, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 mg/ml, compared to the control group. These results suggest that the ethanol extract of propolis inhibits gene expression related to biofilm formation in S. mutans.

영양교육경험이 중학생의 식행동, 영양지식 및 체중조절에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Nutrition Education on Dietary Behavior, Nutrition Knowledge and Weight Control of Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of nutrition education on dietaty behavior, nutrition knowledge and weight control of middle school students. The study is based on the assumption that students' dietary behavior, nutrition knowledge and weight-control are considerably influenced by whether they get nutrition education or not. A total of 495 students aged between $14{\sim}16$ (249 boys and 246 girls) were surveyed one middle school located Siheungsi, Gyeonggido. The survey reveals that 55.4% of the boy students and 63.0% of the girl students have been provided nutrition education in curriculum related to nutrition, for instance home economics, technology class, and/or some other classes. The results showed that the students who have been provided nutrition education don't skip breakfast and have three meals regularly(p<0.05). The score of dietary behavior is based on Mini-Dietary Assessment. The average score of the students who have been provided nutrition education is higher than the students who have never been provided nutrition education(p<0.01), meaning the nutrition education are affected positively on dietary behavior. The average score of students' knowledge of nutrition is as follows. The average score of the students who have been provided nutrition education is 5.0/10, while the average score of the students who have never been provided nutrition education is 3.9/10. The gap of the average score does come up to an inevitable conclusion that the students who have been provided nutrition education are supposed to get higher score than those who have never been provided nutrition education(p<0.0001). And the students who have been provided nutrition education are more satisfied with their body shape than those who have never been provided nutrition education(p<0.05).

  • The purposes of this study were to research 1) the background of origination, 2) the process of development and 3) the influences to modern clothing culture of American sportswear. The most Influential sportswear designers in America from beginning period to present : such as Claire McCardell, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan were selected to study their life and achievements in the world sportswear market. The Results were as follows : 1) World War I & II have caused the greatest changes to modern history America became the center of world economy, society and culture. Politically, they have influenced democracy world-wide and raised the social status of women. The free American women enjoyed sports, Jazz drinking and car-driving. The advanced technology have accelerated mechanization and mass-production to the fashion industrv. 2) The above historical backgrounds have caused to change women's clothing to casual, practical and simple form. Dorothy Shaver at Lord & Taylor began promoting American designers who created the original American spirit. Claire McCardell created the seperated American sportswear to become world-wide fashion. Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, the sportswear designers who have the unique American feeling have come to have riches and fames equal to the top designers in Paris. 3) The American sportswear and fashion industry influenced Paris Mode, the traditional Haute Couture to open Pret-a-porter-a-porter. The concept of seperated coordination in American sportswear have promoted the advanced marketing techniques and merchandising systems to modern ready-to-wear industry. Fashion in 1980s have increased the mutual interdepedence between the American sportswear industry and the creative Paris Mode. And then, the fashion world in 1990s and 21C will be changed and developed on the basis of American sportswear mechanism.

Stand Density Effects on Herbage Yield and Forage Quality of Alfalfa

  • Optimum stand density of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) varies with locations and climates. Stand density is one of the factors that determines herbage yield, forage quality and persistence of alfalfa. As establishment costs increase, the question arises whether present population densities are optimum for obtaining maximum herbage yield and forage quality. The objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the optimum plant density for highest herbage yield and forage quality for the dehydrated alfalfa industry under Edmontons climatic conditions in Alberta, Canada; 2) to compare herbage yield and forage quality of the cultivars 'Algonquin' and 'Vernal' grown at a range of stand densities. Alfalfa seedlings of both cultivars were either transplanted at spacings of 6, 10, 15 and 25 cm or direct seeded at the 4.5 cm plant spacings, providing population densities of 494, 278, 100, 45 and $16plants/m^2$. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with a split-plot arrangement having three replicates; the main plots consisted of two alfalfa cultivars Algonquin and Vernal, and the sub-plots were the five population densities. The cultivar Vernal had significantly higher annual yield than did the cultivar Algonquin. There was no significant effect of plant density on herbage yield. There was no difference in crude protein (CP) between the two cultivars. At the first cut, there was a significant quadratic effect of plant density on CP content and the greatest CP occurred at the 100 plants/m2 density. Crude protein was not affected by plant density at the second cut. Acid detergent fiber (ADF) and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) were not affected by plant density. The cultivar Algonquin usually had a lower ADF and NDF than cultivar Vernal. In conclusion, high population densities ($278plants/m^2$ or more) of alfalfa did not improve herbage yield and forage quality compared with low plant population densities ($100plants/m^2$ or less) of alfalfa.
