Application of 630-nm and 850-nm Light-emitting Diodes and Microcurrent to Accelerate Collagen and Elastin Deposition in Porcine Skin

  • Background and Objectives Skin aging is reportedly associated with regulation in collagen and elastin synthesis. This study investigated the potential of combining light-emitting diode (LED) treatments using a 630-nm and 850-nm LED with simultaneous microcurrent application. Materials and Methods The dorsal skin of female pigs was treated with a home-use device. We examined the treatment effects using photography, thermocamera, microscopic pathology, and histological examination to determine the mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety of the procedure. A histological observation was performed using hematoxylin and eosin, Masson's trichrome, Victoria blue, and immunohistochemical staining. We also used the Sircol soluble collagen and elastin assay kit to measure the amounts of collagen and elastin in the porcine back skin tissue after 2 and 6 weeks. Results Evaluation by visual inspection and devices showed no skin damage or heat-induced injury at the treatment site. Histological staining revealed that accurate treatment of the targeted dermis layer effectively enhanced collagen and elastin deposition. Collagen type I, a protein defined by immunohistochemical staining, was overexpressed in the early stages of weeks 2 and 6. Combined therapy findings showed the superior capability of the 630-nm and 850-nm LED procedures to induce collagen; in contrast, elastin induction was more pronounced after microcurrent treatments. Conclusion The home-use LED device, comprising a combination of 630-nm and 850-nm LEDs and microcurrent, is safe and can be used as an adjunctive treatment for self-administered facial rejuvenation.

수학과 사이버 가정학습 운영에 관한 연구 (A Case Study on Application of Cyber Home Study in Mathematics)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사이버 가정학습 체제 내에서 자기조절학습이 효과적으로 이루어 질 수 있는 다양한 전략들을 탐색하고 그러한 전략들을 바탕으로 사이버가정학습을 운영하여 학생들의 학습을 관리 지원함으로써 자기조절 학습능력 및 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 있다. 우선 선행 연구를 바탕으로 자기조절학습의 구성 요소를 인지 전략, 초인지 전략, 동기전략의 3가지 요소로 나누고 그에 따라서 사이버가정학습 운영 전략을 마련하였다. 다음으로 사이버가정학습 진행을 위한 학습 콘텐츠를 개발하고, 운영 전략에 따라 사이버가정학습을 운영하였다. 그 결과 많은 학생이 자기 조절 학습 능력이 향상됨을 보였고 수학에 흥미와 자신감을 가지게 되었다.

  • The Purposes of this study are first to develop the teaching and learning plan for the dress part in high school's Home Economics by the application of the values clarification theory then to apply it to the classroom activities. and lastly to analyze its effects. We developed the master plan for teaching and learning, and developed the 12 hour sub plans including 7 activities and learning materials. The effects of the teaching are as followings: First, When the self-esteem was compared with the whole classes, there was no difference between the twos, but a boy and a girl who were observed as not making a value-oriented life marked higher score in answering the self-esteem. Second. It was found that values clarification theory made student's degree of participation and interest higher and helped them to choose their dresses in the real life.

Internet of Things based Smart Energy Management for Smart Home

  • Thanks to internet, as one of indispensable parts of our lives, many devices that we use in our daily lives like TV, air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, can be monitored and controlled remotely by becoming more intelligent via Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Smart Home applications as one of the elements of smart cities, are individually the most demanded application without question. In this study, Smart Energy Management (SEM) system, based on NodeMCU and Android, has been designed for SEM, which is a part of the smart home application. With this system, household energy consumption can be monitored in real time, as well as having the ability to record the data comprising of operation times and energy consumption information for each device. Additionally, it is ensured to meet the energy needs on a maximized level possible, during the hours when the energy costs are lower owing to the SEM system. The Android interface provides the users with the opportunity to monitor and change their electricity consumption habits in order to optimize the energy efficiency, along with the opportunity to draw up of a daily and weekly schedule.

실과교과의 교수 .학습 방법에 대한 교사들의 인식 (The Perception of Teachers on the Instructional Method of Practical Arts Education)

  • This study examined teacher perception of the instructional method. activities and material in terms of class quality enhancement. Also this study established instructional method. activities and material application Per 7th Practical Arts Education Course guidance domain. and type identification of the instructional method and activities unique to the Practical arts curriculum. Conclusions : 1. Teachers consider the instructional method and material beneficial. However in the item relevant to application of diverse instructional methods Per specific teaching objective and educational content in the actual classroom. the highest percentage responding. ‘relatively yes’ (39.7%) . balanced out with those answering. ‘no’(37.7%) 2. In linking the instructional method and material to secondary school home economics education, teachers experienced difficulty in teaching only the clothing education domain . 3. In each guidance domain, lecture method, problem-solving learning. cooperative learning. home project learning and functional learning were surveyed for instructional method suitability. Notably, home project learning was identified as a significant instructional method. This result begs in-dept analysis as home project learning may be utilized as a tool to compensate for the absence of practical educational objective condition fulfillment and to substitute for teachers unable to Provide such functional guidance in class. 4. In each guidance domain. role-playing. debate/discussion. case study research, practical exercise and activity reporting were rated as essential teaching ㆍ learning activities. 5. In each guidance domain.‘VCR’, ‘CD-ROM’ and ‘Web media’ were identified as suitable instructional materials .

안드로이드 모바일 플랫폼을 이용한 홈 네트워크 응용 (Home Network Application using Android Mobile Platform)

  • 최근 모바일 플랫폼과 홈 네트워크 시스템과의 융합이 널리 보급되어 보편화되고 있다. 또한 모바일 기술의 발달로 손안의 작은 PC라고 불리는 스마트폰이 보급이 되면서 기존 핸드폰에서의 활용을 넘어 스마트폰에 최적화된 홈 네트워크 응용 개발이 요구되고 있다. 구글에서 개발한 안드로이드 모바일 플랫폼은 운영체제, 미들웨어 및 주요 응용프로그램을 포함한 오픈소스로 다양한 응용을 개발 할 수 있고, 모바일 기기뿐만 아니라 셋톱박스와 가전제품 등에도 탑재가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 플랫폼의 스마트폰 상에서 주택 방안의 상태(온도, 습도, 실시간 영상 등)에 관한 정보의 실시간 모니터링과 댁내의 가전기기 등을 제어하는 홈 네트워크 서비스를 설계 구현한다.

Security Framework for RFID-based Applications in Smart Home Environment

  • The concept of Smart-Homes is becoming more and more popular. It is anticipated that Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology will play a major role in such environments. We can find many previously proposed schemes that focus solely on: authentication between the RFID tags and readers, and user privacy protection from malicious readers. There has also been much talk of a very popular RFID application: a refrigerator/bookshelf that can scan and list out the details of its items on its display screen. Realizing such an application is not as straight forward as it seems to be, especially in securely deploying such RFID-based applications in a smart home environment. Therefore this paper describes some of the RFID-based applications that are applicable to smart home environments. We then identify their related privacy and security threats and security requirements and also propose a secure approach, where RFID-tagged consumer items, RFID-reader enabled appliances (e.g., refrigerators), and RFID-based applications would securely interact among one another. At the moment our approach is just a conceptual idea, but it sheds light on very important security issues related to RFID-based applications that are beneficial for consumers.

중학교 "기술.가정" 교과서의 가정영역에 나타난 Bloom의 인지적 영역 질문 분석 (An Analysis of Bloom's Cognitive Domain Questions in the Home Economics area of the "Technology.Home Economics" Textbooks)

  • 본 연구는 제 7차 교육과정 중학교 "기술.가정" 교과서의 가정 영역에 제시된 질문을 Bloom의 인지적 영역의 수준에 따라 질문의 빈도, 수준, 위치를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 임의로 5개의 출판사의 교과서를 선정해 총 15권을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정 교과서에 포함된 Bloom의 인지적 영역 질문은 1학년(36.9%)이 가장 많았고, 2학년(33.6%), 3학년(29.5%)의 순이었으나 그 비율은 세 개의 학년이 비슷하였다. 가정 교과서에 제시된 질문을 Bloom의 인지적 영역에 따라 분류하였을 때 이해 질문(28.9%)과 적용 질문(28.3%)이 많았고, 지식(21.8%), 분석(8.6%), 종합(6.8%), 평가(5.6%) 수준의 질문은 그 비율이 점차 줄어들었다. 학년별로는 1학년과 3학년은 이해 질문과 적용 질문이 많았고, 2학년은 적용 질문이 가장 많은 비중을 차지했다. 둘째, 중학교 가정교과서에서 Bloom의 인지적 영역 질문의 위치는 읽기 후 질문이 49.2%로 가장 많았고, 읽기 중 질문이 36.7%, 읽기 전 질문은 14.1%를 차지하였다. 읽기 전 질문에서는 학습자들의 흥미를 불러일으키고 사전지식을 조성하고 활성화시키는 목적으로써 지식수준(11.4%), 이해수준(43.2%)의 질문이 주로 나타났고, 읽기 중 질문에서는 학습의 이해와 좀 더 폭 넓은 사고를 할 수 있는 수단으로 적용수준(36.7%)의 질문과 이해수준(25.5%)의 질문이 이용되고 있었다 읽기 후 질문에서는 지금까지 학습한 내용의 점검을 하는 역할로서의 질문인 지식수준(33.4%)과 이해수준(26.8%)의 질문이 많이 나타났다.

  • The main purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development of secondary Home Economics education curriculum and program by investigating the recognition perceived by Home Economics teachers. We have done statistical analyses of 237 questionnaires on the Home Economics teachers' recognition. The results are as follows: 1) The respondents evaluated the necessity of Home Economics education in secondary school, application of aquired knowledge and technical skill and learning by practical experience, highly. 2) As for the contents of Home Economics education curriculum, the respondents place a high value on the field of Meal Management, Child and Family Studies, Home resourse Management and Consumer life, Clothing Management, and House Planning and Management, in the order. 3) The most important educational concepts are knowledges and understanding for the human beings.

The contents and structure according to a development procedure for a computer system were as follows. 1. Accumulated data was classified and designed to search by basic information. drug/injection prescription. examination prescription, treatment prescription. supply. and a record of the nursing process. 3. Various forms of retrieval including graphs were elaborated in terms of diagnosis and intervention aspects.
