This paper proposes an elliptical world-modeling mehtrod in order to secure the safety of the mobile robot from the unreliability of ultrasonic sensors and to estimate the lateral orientation of the detected objects. This method is advnatageous because the total amount of data that the robot utilizes is reduced when historical and new data are clusterd during each sensing period and also because the objects in the environment can be almost exactly recognized. This paper also proposes a new local path planning algorithm which is divided into four different situations and gudies the robot through the safe local path using dat acollected in elliptical form. This algorithm can help the AMR navigate by allowing it to sum up the virtual vector forces made form the ellipses in order to select a safe subgoal. This local path plannin gmehtod using the elliptical world model has been proved by several navigation experiments.

Recently our country highly evaluate cultural value of modern construction. Before and after Japanese imperial period, diplomatic equipment, commerce equipment and brand-new modern construction of Japan and Western came into our country coercively. Especially, modern construction placed in center of the city, as previously stated, was a construction field of historical disgrace. So it leaves alone or transforms to high technology because of well located. Selctive reception of the past makes difficult to know about rightful modem, furthermore it is difficult to expect rightful future. Accordingly, I write this. paper for the purpose of presenting the space application blueprint of 'Jung Myung Jeon' of modern construction designated as the cultural properties in Seoul. According to the project, 'Jung Myung Jeon' will do a role as the keyword which is important connects a past and a present time it presents. Then modern construction 'Jung Myung Jeon' which has a culture value will develop continuous with the city.

This study is to understand the emotional tendency through out the history of architecture and interior design. In this process, a broad range of analysis of the period between Romanticism and Post Modernism will be done to collect historical data and the influence of the social situation. A thorough review and close examination of the 90's architectural trend will reveal the foundation of the concept behind GSD not just as the post-structuralism as a value system of digitalism but also makes easy to understand GSD in space design. In particular, the study will reveal how the ideas of post-structural philosophy has effected the formation of its movement as well as its influence to become the theoretical nutrition for digital architecture. The result of the study will be used as the valuable reference to define 'Emotional Design'(So call 'Gam-Sung Design = GSD) and become the foundation for further investigation on GSD space design in the near future.

This study attempts to bibliographic analysis of Sam-Ryak(三略) which is contained one of Mu-Kyung Chil Seo(武經七書). There were many Print and Publication of Sam-Ryak(三略) in Cho-sun(朝鮮) Dynasty. This study collected related records seen at historical materials and systemize each book-edtion. Also an introduction of new Korean-translation Version(諺解本) of Sam-Ryak(三略) printed in 1711 is considered to be a great help in the study of Korean Language especially in the late period of Cho-sun(朝鮮) Dynasty.

The purpose of this study was to analyzes the transition process and architectural characteristics of Naju's old railway station building from 1913 to 2002. It considers measures for the conservation and reuse. It analyzes investigation record of the condition of Naju's station from 1948 to 1993 and standard building design at Japanese colonial period. It analyzes as well, transition of building through the comparison of the results of an investigation in 1993 and those of the present conditions. In addition, it analyzes interviews with the city officials and residents in city.

This thesis focuses on how the dancing suit frequently used in the Korean royal court has been chronologically changed to that of the modern times. It also aims at how the implicit symbols shown in the royal court dancing suit are related to the traditional concepts and thoughts on Lunar-Solar-Five-Natural-Elements(Eum-Yang-Oh-Haeng). The results of this thesis are as follows. In the historical period of Koryo dynasty, the Buddhists religional ceremonies of YeonDueng-Hoi and PalGwan-Hoi favoured a ritual dancing of DangAakJeongJae originated from the old ancient China, and at the same time it also employed HyangAakJeongJae of Sin-la dynasty. Especially, the DangAakJeongJae contained the kinds of SooSeon-Dyo, Soo-YeonJang, PoTae-Aak, OhYa-ng-Seon, and YeonHwaDae-Mu; and the Hyang-AakJeongJae dealt with Moo-Go and Aa-Bak.

Gathering polling items about China and Japan from 1937 to 2011, we examine how Americans think about these two powerful East Asian countries. Our study investigates American attitudes from two perspectives. First, we analyze the content of polling items asked in the US about China and Japan to track changes in salient issues over a period of over 60 years. Second, by tracking repeated items, we show how American attitudes toward China and Japan have changed over time, both in long-term general favorability, and shorter-term perception of geopolitical, ideological, and economic threat in response to historical events.

Ambient vibration techniques are nowadays a very popular tool to assess dynamic properties of buildings. Due to its non destructive character, this method is particularly valuable, especially for health monitoring of historical monuments. The present ambient vibration experiment consists on the evaluation of vibration modes of a Medieval tower. Situated in Soncino (close to Cremona, in the Northern Italian region named Lombardia), the tower of 41.5 meters height has been monitored by seismometers located at different points inside the structure. Spectral ratios of the recorded ambient vibrations clearly identify a fundamental mode at about 1 Hz, with a slight difference in the two horizontal components. A second mode is also evidenced at approx 4-5 Hz, with a moderate degree of uncertainty. The records of a ML 4.4 earthquake, occurred during the monitoring period, confirm the information obtained by microtremor analysis. Daily variations of both 1st and 2nd mode were detected: these variations, of an amount up to 2%, seem to be well related with the temperature.

This study is focusing on anchogongs(按草工) in yeonggeonuigwes(營建儀軌), which were recorded with few details and in unsettled transcriptions. First, the positions and functions of anchogongs in $18^{th}$ censtury are analyzed by comparing to anchogongs in more detailed early $19^{th}$ century yeonggeonuigwes and those in extant buildings. Second, with the result, the historical significances are presumed in changing transcriptions of anchogong terms in those uigwes. In $18^{th}$ century uigwes, most of anchogongs are functioned as matbo-anchogongs and only four anchogongs in a gate building were used as jongryang-anchogongs. It is mainly because the sorts of buildings in $18^{th}$ century yeonggeonuigwes had only several varieties: most of the buildings belonging royal shrines. Transcriptions of anchogong terms had been changed for reflecting functional developments of anchogongs in $18^{th}$ century. However, reflections were much later than changes of actual functions.

We arrange Korean ancient calendar with Solar calendar during Choseon Dynasty(A.D. 1392-1910). In this period, we have one representable history books and several books, and most of information for date are found from them, ChoseonWangjosillok(조선왕조실록) and Jeungbomunheonbigo(증보문헌비고), etc. In those books many astronomical data and calendar information data are contained, so we can make chronological tables. Most of the data are arranged based on those several books, and for doubtable data are identified from eclipse, historical events and lunar phase calculations etc. We find that arranged chronological tables during Choseon Dynasty are similar to that of China and somewhat different from that of Japan. In addition we summarize all misrecorded date data in ChoseonWangjosillok
