가족생활주기별 주거소비 및 주거이동 지향성에 관한 연구 (Housing consumption and the propensity of residential mobility over family life cycle)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to identify housing consumption over family life cyle and 2) to analyze the propensity of residential mobility and its contributing factors over family life cycle. For these purposes the 1993 KHPS data was used. The sample in this study consisted of 2,796 couple households. Satistics employed for the analysis were frequencies means and logistic regression analysis. As the number of children and the children's age increased the housing consumption increased. There were many factors such as husband's education satisfaction of health and family relations monthly income wealth debt owning a car home ownership duration of residence and the satisfaction with housing contributing to housing consumption and propensity to move. Those with home ownership higher wealth higher satisfaction with health higher expenditure, longer duration of residence and higher satisfaction with housing tend to move more frequently. However those with low educational attai ment less satisfaction with family relation less income and having no debts were likely to move.

중년여성의 피로와 스트레스 저항력 그리고 정서와의 관계 연구 (The Relationship between Fatigue, Stress resistance and Emotion in Korean middle aged women)

  • 본 연구는 발달적 위기에 놓여있는 중년여성의 피로와 스트레스 저항력 그리고 정서와의 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 뇌신경 생리학적 지표인 뇌파측정을 이용하여 분석해 보고자 하였다. 2005년 3월부터 2009년 6월까지 한국정신과학연구소에 뇌파측정을 의뢰한 우리나라 중년여성 4402명(35세~65세)의 뇌기능 지수(긴장도, 항스트레스지수, 정서지수)를 시계열 선형분석과 상관분석으로 한 결과 중년여성의 피로, 스트레스 저항력 그리고 정서 사이에는 유의한 관계가 있었다. 또한 정서적 성향을 보면 명랑과 우울 성향에서는 명랑 성향이, 긍정과 부정적 성향에서는 긍정적 성향이, 전체적으로는 명랑하면서 긍정적인 성향이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 중년여성들의 피로와 스트레스를 감소시켜 삶의 질을 높이는 것이 개인건강은 물론 원만한 가족의 안녕을 유지, 증진하는데 꼭 필요하다고 본다.

성격유형이 스트레스 저항에 미치는 영향 -노인 대상- (The Effects of Character Pattern on Stress Resistance -of Elderly People-)

  • 이 연구는 노인들의 성격유형이 스트레스 저항에 미치는 영향이 있는지를 개인이 지닌 뇌신경 생리학적 지표인 뇌파 측정을 이용하여 비교하여 보았다. 대상자는 한국정신과학연구소에 2007년 9월에서 2010년 12월까지 뇌파측정을 실시한 노인(만 65세 이상)들을 기준으로 선정한 자료이며, 총 1108명이다. 행동성향의 분포도는 긍정 적극성향이 552명, 부정 소극성향이 556명이었으며, 정서성향의 분포도는 명랑(외향)성향이 735명, 우울(내향)성향이 373명이었다. 분석 결과 노인들의 행동성향과 스트레스 저항과는 무관하였으며, 정서성향과 스트레스 저항과는 (p=.000)으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 즉, 명랑(외향)성향이 우울(내향)성향에 비하여 항 스트레스지수에서 평균이 높게 차이가 났으며, 이는 스트레스를 이겨낼 수 있는 능력이 높다고 할 수 있겠다. 이 연구 결과 정서성향과 스트레스 저항능력이 관련이 있음을 보여주었으며 미치는 영향이나 작용기전을 규명하는 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

싱글 여성의 쇼핑성향과 패션지향성이 외국산 화장품 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effect of Shopping Orientation and Fashion Orientation on Imported Cosmetics Repurchase Intention of Single Women)

  • The purposes of this study were to identity the effects of shopping orientation and fashion propensity on imported cosmetics repurchase intention of single women. Self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection from 310 single women aged 25-34. The results were as follows: 1. The factors of shopping orientation of single women were pleasure, ostentation, economy, individuality, convenience of location, and convenience of service. And the factors of fashion propensity were fashion interest and fashion leadership. 2. Single women with higher pleasure pursuit were younger, spent pocket money and purchased imported cosmetics more. Ostentation pursuiters had higher incomes, but economy pursuiters were younger, spent pocket money and purchased imported cosmetics less. Individuality pursuiters were older, and spent more pocket money and posessed imported cosmetics more. Convenience of location pursuiters posessed more imported cosmetics, but convenience of service pursuiters were highly educated. Single women with higher fashion interest were younger, higher income and education level, and posessed imported cosmetics more. And single women with higher fashion leadership were highly educated and purchased imported cosmetics more. 3. Imported cosmetics repurchase intention were effected by pocket money, purchasing power and amount of imported cosmetics, pleasure pursuit, fashion interest positively, but economy pursuit negatively.

초등영재와 일반학생의 완벽주의 성향과 대인관계 특성 비교 (Comparison of Perfectism, Interpersonal Characteristic between the Gifted & Talented Students and General Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze perfectism, interpersonal characteristic between the gifted & talented students and the general. The subject of this study were 112 the gifted students and 120 the general. They answered the questions about perfectism and interpersonal characteristic. To compare the gifted and general students' tendency, collected data was classified by their gender and grade. And correlation analysis was done in oder to analyze the relation between the gifted students' perfectism and interpersonal characteristic. The important results of this study were as follows. First, the grade gap of perfectism was not meaningful in both groups. Otherwise, the gender gap of perfectism was meaningful in both groups. Female's perfectism was higher than male's. And the gifted students' perfectism was higher than the general students'. Second, Differently, the gender gap of interpersonal characteristic was meaningful in the same group. Female had higher positive social-relationship, expression tendency than male. But female had lower competition-aggressiveness propensity than male. In the general group, the 6th grade students showed more positive role, social-relationship than 5th grade. And male showed more competition-aggressiveness propensity than female. Comparing the gifted and the general, the gifted had more dominant-superior, exhibitionistic-narcissistic propensity. It could be a reason of the gifted students' social problem. Third, among self-oriented perfectism and dominant-superior, independent-responsible propensity had meaningful correlation. Also socially-prescribed perfectism had influenced on dominant-superior, sociability-friendliness, exhibitionistic-narcissistic propensity.

R&D 생산성 제고를 위한 인력관리방안 (R&D Personnel Management for Higher Productivity)

  • This paper aims to find out the R&D personnel management strategies which enhance the productivity of researchers. The R&D personnel management practices are examined focusing on career development and compensation scheme. As proxies for higher motivation and/or productivity, job satisfaction and propensity to leave of researchers are analyzed to evaluate the management practices. Using the survey data from researchers in the Korean automobile industry. this paper suggests the management strategies to raise job satisfaction and thus lower propensity to leave of R&D personnel.

시간과 화폐에 대한 태도가 여가소비행동과 여가만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 구조분석 (Structural Analysis of Time and Money Attitudes, Leisure Consumption Behavior and Leisure Satisfaction)

  • This study compared types of time and money attitudes by respondents' characteristics, and compared leisure consumption behavior and leisure satisfaction among different groups, which are classified by attitudes toward time and money. It also verified a structural model for the relationship of leisure satisfaction and the attitudes toward time and money, and investigated the moderating effects of leisure consumption behavior. Data were obtained from a questionnaire completed by 512 adult consumers. Using factor analyses and cluster analyses, this study classified the types of time and money attitudes. The time attitude was categorized according to four clusters: time-insensibility, future- oriented, present-oriented, and past-oriented. The money attitude was divided into four clusters: future safety, stinginess/anxiety, diversion, and power/prestige. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the propensity of leisure consumption behavior to seek fashion and conspicuousness was higher for time-insensibility group than for the others. However, the propensity of rational consumption behavior for leisure was higher for the future-oriented group. The level of leisure satisfaction was the highest for the time-insensibility group. Second, the propensity of leisure consumption behavior to seek fashion and conspicuousness was higher for those who considered money as tools for diversion and power/prestige. The propensity of rational consumption behavior for leisure was higher for the future safety and stinginess/anxiety groups. The level of leisure satisfaction was significantly higher for the diversion group. Third, from the results of structural analyses, the time-insensibility attitude showed a positive effect on the leisure consumption behavior to seek fashion and conspicuousness. The future-oriented attitude had a positive effect on the propensity of rational consumption behavior for leisure. The money attitudes of diversion and power/prestige had positive impacts on the leisure consumption behavior to seek fashion and conspicuousness, although they had negative effects on the propensity of rational consumption behavior for leisure. The leisure consumption behavior to seek fashion and conspicuousness had a positive effect on leisure satisfaction, although the rational consumption behavior for leisure had a negative effect.

Comparison of Adolescents' Subjective Health Status, Physical Activity Index, and Perceived Stress Rate: Propensity Matching Analysis of Obese and Non-obese Groups

  • Objective: This study aimed to compare the subjective health status, physical activity index, and perceived stress rate of obese children with those of healthy children through propensity matching analysis and to use the results to help manage obese children. Design: Descriptive correlation study. Methods: This study conducted a secondary analysis using raw data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Propensity matching (1:2) was conducted between obese and healthy adolescents. Results: The number of days of physical activity was 1.22 days for the obese adolescent group and 1.01 days for the non-obese adolescent group, which was higher in the obese group (p=0.003). The subjective health status was 3.43 and 3.81 in the obese and non-obese adolescent groups, respectively, showing a higher difference in the normal group (p<0.001). No statistical difference was observed in the perceived stress rate (p=0.871) or strength exercises (p=0.190) between the two groups. Conclusion: This study suggests the need for development measures to effectively improve youth physical activity, muscle-strengthening programs, stress management, and subjective health status in obese and normal groups.

대학생의 과시소비성향과 관련요인 연구 (The Propensity of Conspicuous Consumption of College Students and Its Determinants)

  • This study attempts to identify the level of the propensity of college student's conspicuous consumption and clarify the related variables such as socioeconomic variables, consumption-oriented attitude, and influence of reference groupl Data used in this study were collected from 485 college students in seoul. The samples were analyzed by frequency, mean, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, and regression. The results can be summarized as follows: 1) The average level of the propensity for conspicuous consumption was a little higher than middle point ; 2) the propensity of conspicuous consumption of college students was significantly different according to age, sex, the amount of monthly allowance, and the parents' level of education; 3) the variables with statistically significant effects on college students' conspicuous consumption include the consumption-oriented attitude, the influencing degree of reference group, the amount of monthly allowance, and sex.

청소년의 상징적 소비성향에 관한 연구 (A Study in The Propensity for Symbolic Consumption of Adolescents)

  • The objectives of this study are to examine the degree of propensity for symbolic consumption among adolescents and its factors, and to investigate the effects of demographic variables - sex, grade, father's education, mother's education, father's job, mother's job, monthly allowance, monthly household income - self-esteem, and socialization agents variables - parents, friends, mass media - on the propensity. In this study, the propensity for symbolic consumption is defined as the propensity to consume products through their affective, subjective, and symbolic value rather than through their practical and utility value. The data used in this study were collected from 509 adolescents who are in the 2nd grade of middle or high schools in Pusan. The research results can be summarized as follows: 1. The propensity for symbolic consumption were found to have significant differences according to sex, father's education, mother's education, mother's job, and monthly allowance. 2. It differs significantly according to adolescents' self-esteem. That is, the lower self-esteem adolescents have, the higher propensity for symbolic consumption they show. 3. It also differs significantly according to the degree of communication with parents, the degree of accepting friends' view, the degree of communication with friends, the degree of informative influence from friends, and the degree of taking in mass media.
