  • The purpose of this research is to create a polyester sample book that serves as a point of reference that exporters in the Taegu area can allude to when exporting to the U.S. By getting this project off the ground, we can expect to make a worthy contribution to the manufacture of high-quality, value-added fashion & textile goods. The research was conducted as follows. First, a study was carried out in the local market ensued by consumer surveys with regards to consumer attitude on man-made fibers, market researches, and interviews with experts, all in conjunction with the Color Association of the U.S. Also, a diverse array of fabric swatches were collected from Manhattans fabric wholesalers and then classified by color and fabric type fur the sample book. In short, this research found that man-made fibers have full marketability in the U.S. Thus, in order for Taegus synthetic textile firms to be successful in exporting to the US, it is essential that they come up with fabrics that have properties resembling natural fibers such as having a soft hand, natural sheen, smooth draping, and diverse textures as well as being in line with the current trends. In addition, it is also necessary to develop fabrications that are versatile and functional. Thus, by developing innovative fabrications, the synthetic textile business will turn toward the production of high-quality synthetics and will also provide a platfrom for strengthening the competitive edge of Koreas textile & fashion business.

벤조산염을 전자공여체로 이용한 PCE의 환원성 탈염소화 특성 (Characteristics of PCE Reductive Dechlorination using Benzoate as an Electron Donor)

  • 전자공여체로 벤조산염을 이용한 perchloroethene(PCE)의 환원성 탈염소화 과정에서 전자공여체의 첨가량 및 초기 미생물 식종량이 탈염소화에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위하여 회분식 실험을 수행하였다. 벤조산염이 탈염소화를 위한 양론비 이하(전자공여체/수용체 비=0.5와 1)로 첨가된 경우 탈염소화 효율은 벤조산염 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 71%에서 94.3%로 증가하였으나, 탈염소화에 이용된 전자공여체의 분율은 92.7%에서 79.6%로 감소하였다. 메탄생성은 PCE와 trichloroethene(TCE)가 모두 cis-1,2-dichloroethene(cDCE)으로 전환된 후 문턱농도(threshold value, 10 nM) 이상으로 수소농도가 유지되는 동안 진행되었다. 벤조산염이 양론비 이상으로 첨가된 경우 탈염소화 완료 후 잔존하는 수소는 메탄생성량을 증가시켰다. 식종 미생물량의 증가는 지체기를 감소시켰지만 최대 탈염소화 속도는 벤조산염 분해 속도에 의해 결정되어 식종 미생물량에 큰 영향을 받지 않았다. 식종 미생물 농도가 높은 경우 초기 활발한 탈염소화로 인하여 메탄생성량은 감소하고, 탈염소화 효율은 증가하였다.

나노섬유 분리막의 최근 연구개발동향 (Current R&D Trend of Nanofiber Membranes)

  • 분리막에 대한 지속적인 성장과 더불어 나노섬유 분리막은 현재 기체, 수처리, 에너지 등 다양한 분야에서 활발히 연구가 진행되고 있다. 나노섬유를 제조하는 방법에는 연신(drawing), 템플레이트 합성(template synthesis), 상분리(phase separation), 자가조립(self-assembly), 전기방사(electrospinning)법이 있으며, 특히, 전기방사법은 다른 제법들에 비해 높은 생산성과 생산비용이 낮은 장점이 있다. 또한, 재료의 선택성이 용이하며, 높은 비표면적과 기능기 추가가 용이하다. 분리막에 있어서 나노섬유의 적용은, 이차전지분야에서 기존의 PP, PE 혹은 PE/PP 격리막 위에 나노섬유를 도포함으로써 고온에서 안정성과 고출력을 가진 분리막을 개발할 수 있으며, 수처리 분야에서는 나노섬유 사이에 항균성 물질 등 다양한 첨가제를 추가하여 고기능성 분리막을 개발할 수 있다. 따라서 나노섬유 분리막은 에너지 분야에서 수처리 분야에 이르기까지 다양한 용도에 활용가능하며, 다양한 기능성의 발현으로 고부가 가치가 기대된다.

다양한 납기일 형태에 따른 다제품 생산용 회분식 공정의 최적 생산계획 (Optimal scheduling of multiproduct batch processes with various due date)

  • In this paper, scheduling problem is dealt for the minimization of due date penalty for the customer order. Multiproduct batch processes have been dealt with for their suitability for high value added low volume products. Their scheduling problems take minimization of process operation for objective function, which is not enough to meet the customer satisfaction and the process efficiency simultaneously because of increasing requirement of fast adaptation for rapid changing market condition. So new target function has been suggested by other researches to meet two goals. Penalty function minimization is one of them. To present more precisely production scheduling, we develop new scheduling model with penalty function of earliness and tardiness We can find many real cases that penalty parameters are divergent by the difference between the completion time of operation and due date. That is to say, the penalty parameter values for the product change by the customer demand condition. If the order charges different value for due date, we can solve it with the due date period. The period means the time scope where penalty parameter value is 0. If we make use of the due date period, the optimal sequence of our model is not always same with that of fixed due date point. And if every product have due date period, due date of them are overlapped which needs optimization for the maximum profit and minimum penalty. Due date period extension can be enlarged to makespan minimization if every product has the same abundant due date period and same penalty parameter. We solve this new scheduling model by simulated annealing method. We also develop the program, which can calculate the optimal sequence and display the Gantt chart showing the unit progress and time allocation only with processing data.

한국 제조업의 기술적 효율성 국제 비교 분석 (International Comparative Analysis of Technical efficiency in Korean Manufacturing Industry)

  • 본 연구는 한중일과 OECD 가입국을 포함한 총 18개국의 제조업을 11개 부문으로 구분하여 각 국의 산업별 기술적 효율성을 추정하고 비교 분석하였다. 생산성의 전통적인 관점은 기술혁신이나 공정혁신 등을 통해 생산능력을 높이는 것이지만 생산과정의 기술적 효율성에 의해서 가장 큰 영향을 받게 되는데 이러한 생산의 기술적 효율성을 추정하는 대표적인 방법이 확률적 프런티어 생산모형(Stochastic Frontier Production Model: SFM)을 이용한 분석 방법이다. 먼저 산출변수를 총산출 또는 부가가치로 각각 설정하여 확률적 프런티어 생산함수를 추정한 결과, 둘 다 노동, 자본, 중간재 투입의 경우 모든 제조업 부문에서 투입량이 늘어날수록 산출량이 유의하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 연구개발 투자는 화학, 전자, 기계 산업 등에서 산출량에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이어서 생산함수를 통해 기술적 효율성을 추정한 결과를 보면, 산출변수를 총산출로 설정한 경우 부문별 전체 평균이 0.8이상의 값을 보이면서 대부분 높은 수준의 효율성을 나타내었다. 하지만 부가가치로 설정한 경우에는 일본이 대부분의 제조업 부문에서 가장 높은 수준을 나타내었으며, 다른 국가들은 총산출 기준의 효율성보다 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 한중일 3개국을 비교해보면, 대부분의 제조업 부문에서 일본이 가장 높은 효율성을 나타내었으며 우리나라는 일본의 절반이나 3분의 1 수준, 중국은 우리나라 보다 낮은 수준으로 나타났다. 하지만 식품과 전자 부문에서는 중국이 우리나라보다 높게 나타나 이들 부문에서는 중국의 생산 효율성이 크게 향상되었음을 알 수 있다. 이처럼 우리나라는 중국의 빠른 성장에 비해 상대적으로 일본과의 격차를 좁히지 못하고 있으므로 산업별로 기술개발을 촉진하는 다양한 정책적 지원이 요구된다. 이와 함께 제조업 생산성 향상을 위해서는 기술개발뿐만 아니라 기술적 효율성을 제고할 수 있는 경제구조로의 전환도 필요하다고 할 수 있다.

LED 칩 제조용 사파이어 웨이퍼 절단을 위한 내부 레이저 스크라이빙 시스템 개발 (Development of Internal Laser Scribing System for Cutting of Sapphire Wafer in LED Chip Fabrication Processes)

  • LED has added value as a lighting source in the illuminating industry because of its high efficiency and low power consumption. In LED production processes, the chip cutting process, which mainly uses a scribing process with a laser has an effect on quality and productivity of LED. This scribing process causes problems like heat deformation, decreasing strength. The inner laser method, which makes a void in wafer and induces self-cracking, can overcome these problems. In this paper, cutting sapphire wafer for fabricating LED chip using the inner laser scribing process is proposed and evaluated. The aim is to settle basic experiment conditions, determine parameters of cutting, and analyze the characteristics of cutting by means of experimentation.

Fermentation and Metabolic Pathway Optimization to De Novo Synthesize (2S)-Naringenin in Escherichia coli

  • Flavonoids have diverse biological functions in human health. All flavonoids contain a common 2-phenyl chromone structure (C6-C3-C6) as a scaffold. Hence, in using such a scaffold, plenty of high-value-added flavonoids can be synthesized by chemical or biological catalyzation approaches. (2S)-Naringenin is one of the most commonly used flavonoid scaffolds. However, biosynthesizing (2S)-naringenin has been restricted not only by low production but also by the expensive precursors and inducers that are used. Herein, we established an induction-free system to de novo biosynthesize (2S)-naringenin in Escherichia coli. The tyrosine synthesis pathway was enhanced by overexpressing feedback inhibition-resistant genes (aroGfbr and tyrAfbr) and knocking out a repressor gene (tyrR). After optimizing the fermentation medium and conditions, we found that glycerol, glucose, fatty acids, potassium acetate, temperature, and initial pH are important for producing (2S)-naringenin. Using the optimum fermentation medium and conditions, our best strain, Nar-17LM1, could produce 588 mg/l (2S)-naringenin from glucose in a 5-L bioreactor, the highest titer reported to date in E. coli.

Feeding Value of Ammoniated Rice Straw Supplemented with Rice Bran in Sheep : I. Effects on Digestibility, Nitrogen Retention and Microbial Protein Yield

  • In vivo digestibility, nitrogen retention and microbial protein yield from diets of 100% ammonia treated rice straw (ARS) ($D_1$); 65% untreated rice straw (URS)+30% rice bran (RB)+5% SBM ($D_2$) and 85% ARS+15% RB ($D_3$) were determined using three Japanese Corriedale wethers in a $3{\times}3$ Latin Square Design. Results showed that DM consumption and organic matter digestibility were highest in $D_3$; but did not promote high protein digestibility, which RB+SBM had effected in URS based-diet. Dry matter intake and OM digestibility were the same for $D_1$ and $D_3$. Solubility of fiber bonds was increased by ammoniation, resulting in higher NDF digestibility. Nitrogen retention and microbial protein yield of rice bran supplemented groups was higher than ARS, but supplementation did not significantly increase efficiency of microbial protein synthesis from ARS which did occur when RB+SBM was added to untreated straw. The quality of ammoniated rice straw could be improved through RB supplementation because of its positive effects on DM digestibility, nitrogen retention and microbial protein yield. However, the addition of RB+SBM to URS resulted to more efficient N utilization.

주름에 의한 패션 디자인 -2000년대 이후 여성패션을 중심으로 - (Fashion Design with folds - Focusing on Women's Fashion after 2000-)

  • Creative application in elaborate techniques can not only make design constructs productive but also can widen designers' figurative perspectives. There are many techniques applied in fashion design such as folds, patchworks, embroidery, dyeing, industrial treatment, etc. In particular, folds play a significant part in enlightening clothes uniqueness in contemporary fashion design. The primary purpose of this study was to make new suggestion for the production of high value-added fashion goods by reviewing and synthesizing fold expressions. Diverse fold designs were retrieved through a comprehensive literature review on topic-related books, fashion dictionaries, and fashion encyclopedias. Significant cases of fashion designs using folds were retrieved from fashion magazines uploaded from 2000. There are three types of folds applied in fashion design. (1) The folds by needlework like tucks, smocking, shirring, and trimming type folds(ruffle, frill, flounce, and ruche). (2) The folds by chemical or mechanical treatment like permanent pleats and crinkle. (3) The folds of formative dress like drape. From a comprehensive review of the folds design cases after 2000, the following characteristics of folds design were identified: (1) a highlighted role in the whole, (2) mixture and deformation of techniques and materials, (3) 3-D surface effect, (4) creation of a unique figurative beauty, and (5) expression of diverse fashion image.

친환경양식어업육성 민간보조사업비 집행효율 증대 방안 (A Study on the Efficiency of Execution of the Private Subsidy for Environmentally Friendly Aquaculture)

  • The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is supporting the "Environmentally Friendly Fisheries Promotion and Private Assistance Project" to increase production of eco-friendly, high-value-added foods. Private-backed operators selected for the project will have an economic opportunity to build, expand or refurbish eco-friendly fishing grounds. To facilitate this, the scope of project support was expanded after 2015 and an opportunity was prepared for private subsidy projects to grow to a new level in terms of quality and quantity by switching to a public offering project. However, starting in 2017, demand from the private sector will plunge and selected projects will be delayed or the project implementation rate will be lowered. It was a time for subsidy-related laws and systems to be reinforced but private subsidy projects do not temporarily shrink simply due to the increased administrative burden on private subsidy operators on subsidy management. It plans to review the correlation between laws and systems related to the construction of fish farms and suggest ways to enhance the efficiency of implementation so that economic advantages, the biggest advantage of the private subsidy project, can be recovered within the current legal system.
