This study investigated antioxidation activity through the content of total polyphenol, that of flavonoid and DPPH radical scavenging activity and measured the cytotoxicity against B16F10 melanoma and inhibiting function of melanin biosynthesis to evaluate antioxidation activity and melanocyte effect of pueraria lobata root extract. As the results of study, it was recognized that the toxicity did not show against B16F10 melanoma and the increase of generating melanin was inhibited as the results of measuring the inhibition function of melanin biosynthesis after inducing the generation of melanin by ${\alpha}$-MSH against B16F10 melanoma cell. The high contents of polyphenol and flavonoid was found as the contents of pueraria lobata root extract increases and DPPH radical scavenging activity as the results of antioxidation activity. Through this study, it was recognized that pueraria lobata root extract has the feasibility that can be used as the material of cosmetics as it has the excellent effect of antioxidation activity and inhibiting the generation of melanin against melanocyte, low toxicity against skin cell and its safety against melanocyte of skin was found.

Storing hydrogen in solid state hydride is one of the best promising methods for the future hydrogen economy. The total performance of such systems depends on the rate at which the amount of mass and heat migration is supplied to solid hydride. Therefore, an accurate modeling of the heat and mass transfer is of prime importance in optimizing the design of such systems. In this work, Hydrogen storage in Pt-CNTs hydrogen reactor has been intensively investigated by solving 2 dimensional mathematical models. Using a CFD computer software, systematic studies have been performed to elucidate the effect of heat and mass transfer during hydrogen charging periods. It was revealed that the optimized design of hydrogen storage vessel can prevent the increase of system temperature and the charging time due to the convective cooling effects inside the vessels at even high charging pressure. Because none has reported the critical issues of heat and mass transfer for CNT based hydrogen storage system, this work can support the first insight of the optimal design for solid state hydrogen storage system based on CNT in the near future.
Rehabilitation has emerged in recent years as major topic for the handicaped in industrial accident compensation insurance(IACI). Specially social support helps the handicaped adjust themselves psychosocially to handicap. This study was conducted to examine different contents and perceived social support, and provide guidlines for specific and proper rehabilitation for the handicaped of IACI. This study is a descriptive study which were collected through two phases using structured questionnaire. In the first stage, surveys were performed via telephone interviews. In the second stage, surveys were performed via home-visit subjects in the first stage included the handicaped of IACI. Finally data were collected from 338 subjects and analyzes by SPSS/PC+10. The instruments of this study were the perceived social support scale which developed by Lee(1996). These scales in the form of 5-point Likert type, consists of 20 items, including 3 subscales of emotional support, informational support, instrumental support. The mean score of social support was 57.2, emotional support 21.0, informational support 21.2 and instrumental support 15.2. The mean of depression for psychosocial factors is 37.5. Threre were significant differences in total perceived social support; age, job status, handicaped degree in IACI, post-traumatic complication and use of instrument. Emotional support was significant differences; age, number of dependent family, job status, handicaped degree in IACI, use of instrument and depression. Informational support was significant differences; job status, posttraumatic complication, use of instrument and depression. Instrumental support was significant differences; sex, job status, handicaped degree in IACI, use of instrument, and depression. The current system of the Labor Welfare institute is not appropriate for solving health problems of the handicaped in IACI. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the plan which can provide the handicaped in IACI high-quality rehabilitation services, so that they must use those services in the community without being dependent on hospitals. This study proposes home visit nursing services as the way to provide various health services within community for the handicaped in IACI.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the education needs related to prenatal care program in married immigrant women and to suggest the meaningful data in developing prenatal care programs. Data collection was conducted in a multi-cultural center, D-city from 2014 Mar to 2015 April and a total of 71 subjects participated in this study. Education needs related to prenatal care programs were investigated using a questionnaire including infertility, human reproductive structures, prenatal educations, vaccinations, health problems managements and so on. Scores in education needs related to prenatal care programs were high in newborn baby safety managements, vaccinations, health care managements, newborn baby normal developments and newborn baby care managements. In addition, education needs related to fertility in the married immigrant women from Vietnam were higher than the married immigrant women from China and others (F=5.53, p<.05). Thus, based on the results of this study, the contents of an educational program needs to focus on newborn baby normal developments and nursing care management for them.

As aircrafts are being operated at high altitude, wing structures experience various fatigue loadings under cryogenic environments. As a result, fatigue damage such as a crack could be develop that could eventually lead to a catastrophic failure. For this reason, fatigue damage monitoring is an important process to ensure efficient maintenance and safety of structures. To implement damage detection in real-world flight environments, a special cooling chamber was built. Inside the chamber, the temperature was maintained at the cryogenic temperature, and harmonic fatigue loading was given to a wing structure. In this study, piezoelectric active-sensing based guided waves were used to detect the fatigue damage. In particular, a beamforming technique was applied to efficiently measure the scattering wave caused by the fatigue damage. The system was used for detection, growth monitoring, and localization of a fatigue crack. In addition, a sensor diagnostic process was also applied to ensure the proper operation of piezoelectric sensors. Several experiments were implemented and the results of the experiments demonstrated that this process could efficiently detect damage in such an extreme environment.

With the development of IOT technology and the expansion of ICT services recently, a variety of home network services have been advanced based on wired and wireless high speed telecommunication. Domestic and global companies have been studying on the innovative technology for the users using IOT based technology and the environment for the smart home services has been gradually developed. The users live their lives with more convenience due to the expansions and developments of smart phones. However, the threatening on the security of the smart home network had occurred by various attacks with the connection to the smart environment telecommunication, lack of applications on low powered and light weight telecommunication, and the problems of security guideline. In addition, the solutions are required for the new and variant attacking cases such as data forgery and alteration of the device for disguising approach with ill will. In this article, the safe communication protocol was designed using certification management technique based on AKI which supplemented the weakness of PKI, the existing certification system in the smart environment. Utilizing the signature technique based on ECDSA, the efficiency on the communication performance was improved, and the security and the safety were analyzed on the security threat under the smart home environment.

The Korea Radioactive Waste Agency plans to expand the storage capacity of radioactive waste by constructing a radioactive waste inspecting building to solve the problem of the lack of inspection space and drum-handling space in the radioactive waste receipt and storage building for the first-stage disposal facility. In this study, the exposure doses of radiation workers that handle new disposal containers for decommissioning waste in the storage areas of the radioactive waste inspecting building were calculated using the Monte Carlo N-particle transport code. The annual collective dose was calculated as a total of 84.8 man-mSv for 304 new disposal containers and an estimated annual 306 working hours for the radiation work. When the 304 new disposal containers (small/medium type) were stored in the storage areas, it was found that 25 radiation workers should be involved in acceptance/disposal inspection, and the estimated exposure dose per worker was calculated as an average annual value of 3.39 mSv. When the radiation workers handle the small containers in high-radiation dose areas, the small containers should be shielded further by increasing the concrete liner thickness to improve the work efficiency and radiation safety of the radiation workers. The results of this study will be useful in establishing the optimal radiation working conditions for radiation workers using the source term and characteristics of decommissioning waste based on actual measurements.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of wearing clothes, Level B, and Level C PPE on normal CPR using mannequins. The paramedics who participated in this experiment were 20 paramedics with more than 5 years of experience in firefighting area C. It was found that chest compressions in the process that hand off time was 11.9 seconds in the uniform wearing group, 11.4 seconds in the level C PPE wearing group, and 13.1 seconds in the SCBA wearing group. In other words, wearing personal protective equipment prevents the movement of paramedics and uses compensatory movements, which may increase the difficulty of efficient first aid. If this situation persists, it may cause fatigue and damage to the body of paramedics. Rescue and paramedics should wear level personal protective equipment in case of emergencies and conduct rescue and CPR training.
The purpose of this study was undertaken to determine the health interests by middle school students in Soo-Dong Myun. It was planned that this data would help nursing help students who is under the community health nursing pratice in Soo-Dong, and development of health education programmes. The instrument used which was orginially the Health Interest Inventory by Ramsdell, was modified. This study involed 358 students ranging from 1 st year to 3 rd year and was carried out from September 1 to 30, 1979. The results obtained as follows ; 1. Comparing students health interests by grade, there was a high interested areas were$\ulcorner$Dental health$\lrcorner$,$\ulcorner$Mental health$\lrcorner$, and$\ulcorner$Alcohol, drugs and smoking$\lrcorner$On the other hand the least interested areas were$\ulcorner$Family health$\lrcorner$and$\ulcorner$weight control$\lrcorner$There was a difference between 2 nd and 3 rd year by grade mean score. There was a highest correlation between$\ulcorner$Family health$\lrcorner$area and$\ulcorner$personal grooming$\lrcorner$, the lorvest correlation between$\ulcorner$consumer health$\lrcorner$area and the combined $\ulcorner$Family health$\lrcorner$and$\ulcorner$Weight control$\lrcorner$.
The purpose of this study is to determine potential associations among consumer preference for American beef, consumers' involvement in selection of desired beef, and their intentions to purchase beef. In order to meet the above purpose, this study surveyed the visitors who shopped at 2 big discount stores selected in each of 3 metropolitan cities(Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu) from July 11 to 13, 2008. Total 278 sheets of the questionnaire were collected and used for final data analysis. As a result, it was found that the consumers responded most sensitively to the safety of food when buying beef but didn't care much about the amount of fat and beef brand. In terms of imported beef, it was found that Australian beef was considered reliable by consumers, and their preference for Korean beef was positively correlated with that for Australian beef. In addition, in regard to the attributes of beef selection, it was found that low involvement group had higher intentions to purchase American beef than high involvement group. In order to determine the potential effects of consumers' involvement in the attributes of beef selection on their intentions to purchase American beef, this study conducted data analysis in control of consumer preference for American beef. As a result, it was found that consumers' involvement in the attributes of beef selection had significant effects on their intentions to buy American beef. And sex was found to be one of the demographic characteristics associated with involvement in the attributes of beef selection, particularly associated with low involvement. Depending on sex, it was found that women had lower preference for American beef than men.
