  • Electricity living body formation operation appliance is using most imports until present. And, because electricity living body formation operation appliance is too expensive, it becomes burden to buy in small scale hospital. Also, problem that economical damage by income is added follows. Therefore, this treatise developed electricity living body formation operation appliance by home production. Ultra high frequency eruption circuit used LC circuit. and output frequency is possible to 8 [MHz], and output voltage amplified maximum 800 [V]. This operation appliance could display size of fixed current. This developed product could microscopic operation fewer than 1 [mm]. This development technology is considered by do metallic surface heat treatment, melting, welding, induction heating device and that can apply to domestic animals surgical operation and so on.

  • In this experimental report, We introduce an idea of thermal corrosion in sandwich panel. In brief, Because the structures of sandwich panel are easily collapsed by thermal damage caused by a fire, it is very difficult to investigate a point and origin of fire. Therefore, If the shapes of thermal corrosion are reconstructed according to change of temperature and lapse time by experiment in sandwich panel, it is very simple task that fire scene investigators search for a point and origin of fire. As a result, we present the difference of thermal corrosion between samples which are applied heat by many-sided variable, such as temperature, heating time, lapse time, humidity, and others.

  • Since the natural disasters such as floods, droughts, heat wave and cold wave are increasing, the need for risk management is necessary to minimize the damage with utilizing IT technology. Also, the monitoring services of disaster response type have been developed and applied. Recently, the open source hardware based on the signal of the sensor, or the monitoring studies have been carried. In this paper, by analyzing a low-cost open source hardware platform such as Beagle board, we examine the utilization of the hardware-based module for sensor monitoring.

  • Radio frequency identification(RFID) combined with wireless technology has good potential for structural health monitoring(SHM). We describe several advantages of RFID and wireless technologies for SHM, and review SHM examples with working principles, design and technical details for damage detection, heat exposure monitoring, force/strain sensing, and corrosion detection in concrete, steel, carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP), and other materials. Various sensors combined with wireless communication are also discussed. These methodologies can be readily developed, implemented, and customized. There are some technical difficulties, but solutions are being addressed. Lastly, a surface acoustic wave-based RFID system is presented, and possible future trends of SHM based on RFID and wireless technology are presented.

  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an advanced diagnostic tool used in both medicine and dentistry. Since it functions based on a strong uniform static magnetic field and radiofrequency pulses, it is advantageous over imaging techniques that rely on ionizing radiation. Unfortunately, the magnetic field and radiofrequency pulses generated within the magnetic resonance imager interact unfavorably with dental materials that have magnetic properties. This leads to unwanted effects such as artifact formation, heat generation, and mechanical displacement. These are a potential source of damage to the oral tissue surrounding the affected dental materials. This review aims to compile, based on the current available evidence, recommendations for dentists and radiologists regarding the safety and appropriate management of dental materials during MRI in patients with orthodontic appliances, maxillofacial prostheses, dental implants, direct and indirect restorative materials, and endodontic materials.

  • A novel nonlocal model with one thermal relaxation time is presented to investigates the thermal damages and the temperature in biological tissues generated by laser irradiations. To obtain these models, we used the theory of the non-local continuum proposed by Eringen. The thermal damages to the tissues are assessed completely by the denatured protein ranges using the formulations of Arrhenius. Numerical results for temperature and the thermal damage are graphically presented. The effects nonlocal parameters and the relaxation time on the distributions of physical fields for biological tissues are shown graphically and discussed.

  • The cladding temperatures and axial mass distribution computed by MAAP5 were compared with their measured values in the test bundle of the Phebus Test FPT0. The computed cladding temperatures were in good agreed with the measured values in the pre-transient phase. In the transient heat-up phase, the computed temperatures were overestimated by the Baker-Just correlation in MAAP5, but the computed temperatures could simulate the subsequently measured values. The computed mass distribution in the axial direction was in qualitative agreement with the measured one for post-test fuel damage observations. The calculated flow areas of inner and outer regions in the test bundle were compared with the photographic observations. MAAP5 computed them at the height of 0.2 m where the molten pool formed was in qualitative agreement with the photographic observations. It was found that the remaining steam flow paths might be caused by the gas-liquid two-phase flow counter-current flow limitation.

  • This paper aims to examine the farmers' perceptions of the importance and feasibility of climate change awareness and adaptive measures in agriculture, utilizing paired sample t-tests and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Significant differences were found in farmers' views on the importance and urgency of climate change issues, with specific factors standing out. The IPA analysis identified key issues requiring sustained attention, including climate change magnitude, extreme weather events, livestock damage scale, pest fluctuations, and variability in flowering periods. Additionally, the study revealed significant disparities in farmers' perceptions of the importance and feasibility of adaptive measures, except for specific items related to heat indices.

  • The technology for hydrogen production from by-product gases generated in steel mills has recently garnered significant attention, with commercialization gradually progressing. Hydrogen production based on by-product gases presents a critical technological breakthrough, enabling the reduction of carbon emissions in steel production while promoting sustainable energy generation. In this study, a consequence analysis of potential accidents was conducted by analyzing the components of a newly proposed membrane-PSA hybrid process aimed at reducing the cost of hydrogen production from the PSA-only process. The findings indicate that the extent of pipeline damage and weather conditions significantly influence the range of hydrogen leakage, the radiative heat from jet fires, and the overpressure range in vapor cloud explosions. These results provide essential foundational data for evaluating the risks associated with hydrogen leakage accidents and for establishing safety design and preventive measures.

  • Recently, to consider financial and constructive aspect usage of Admixture such as Blast-Furnace Slag and Fly-Ash, are increased. Also the use of cold-weather-concrete is increased. Blast-Furnace Slag, a by-product of steel industry, have many advantage to reduce the heat of hydration, increase in ultimate strength and etc. But it also reduces early-age strength, so it is prevented from using of Blast-Furnace Slag at cold-weather-concrete. In this study, for the purpose of increasing usage of Blast-Furnace Slag at cold-weather-concrete, it is investigated the strength properties of concrete subjected to frost damage for the cause of early age curing. The factors of this experience to give early frost damaged were Freezing temperature(-1, -10, $-15^{\circ}C$), Early curing age(0, 12, 24, 48hour), Freezing times(0, 12, 24, 48hour). According to this study, if early curing is carried out before haying frost damage, the strength of concrete used admixture, subjected to frost damage, is recovered. And that properties are considered, the effect of using admixture like blast-furnace-slag, is very high
