Shimizu Corporation Tokyo Headquarters, one of the city's leading office buildings, features many pioneering technologies that contribute to a sustainable society through environmental stewardship and a sophisticated disaster management facility. In terms of structural engineering, a seismic isolation system incorporating reinforced concrete core walls and precast concrete perimeter frames create a robust structure in the event of a large earthquake. In addition to the seismic resistance of the structure, several pioneering construction methods and materials are adopted. This office building can serve as a basis for new design and construction approaches and methodologies to ensure safe and economical structures.

A Study on the improvement Method of Domestic Franchise System based on the study through the Dispute cases. Future franchise operating is hard to survive if it has it's own competitive power in the fair trade. So first of all, Headquarter of franchise has the competitive power. Second, it has knowhow, because that knowhow is driving force which can lead a member of franchiser. third, it can supply tableware and materials without a hitch. In the conclusion, franchise operator has the competitive power that are difference and fair trade. Also, when franchiser always cooperate franchise operating, that contributed much to the growth of the foodservice. In the future, the study on foodservice of franchise should be go on more deeply.

This work presents an iterative mesh partitioning approach to improve the efficiency of parallel substructure finite element computations. The proposed approach employs an iterative strategy with a set of empirical rules derived from the results of numerical experiments on a number of different finite element meshes. The proposed approach also utilizes state-of-the-art partitioning techniques in its iterative partitioning kernel, a cost function to estimate the computational cost of each submesh, and a mechanism that adjusts element weights to redistribute elements among submeshes during iterative partitioning to partition a mesh into submeshes (or substructures) with balanced computational workloads. In addition, actual parallel finite element structural analyses on several test examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach proposed herein. The results show that the proposed approach can effectively improve the efficiency of parallel substructure finite element computations.

This research deals with the weapon system RAM which is the reliability, availability and maintainability for weapon systems. This weapon system RAM is one of very important factors because it is related to the life cycle cost and combat readiness of weapon systems. Therefore, in this research we introduce the weapon system RAM and analyze the problems of weapon system RAM management during system life cycle including acquisition period. Finally we suggest an alternative to improve the weapon system RAM in various agencies which are the department of defense and army headquarter level, etc., in the process of defense acquisition.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the sound insulation performance and present fundamental data for sound insulation plan about open and close windows of inner facade and outer facade of Double-skin Facade system applied to multi-story type. The Headquarter of Green Building and the Energy Saving Building in the Korea Institute of Energy Research was selected for experiment. Measurement method which are specified in the Korea Standard 2235 were selected for this study. As the result of this study, 1) Sound insulation performance of Multi-layer type of Double-skin Facades is very excellent about outdoor noise. 2) Vertical level is higher, it shows that more decreases sound pressure level.

When a radial collector well is installed and operated for agricultural purposes, negative impacts may be observed over time due to the clogging of horizontal arms, such as reduced groundwater discharge and water quality deterioration. When radial collector well No. 2 was rehabilitated using the high-pressure impulse generation technique, the specific capacity and transmissivity were increased by 43.1 and 100.6%, respectively. In contrast, according to air surging, the specific capacity and transmissivity increased by 33.8 and 85.8%, respectively, compared to the initial rate before rehabilitation. During the operation of radial collector wells since construction, the time of well rehabilitation can be effectively determined by continuously monitoring the groundwater level and pumping rate of the radial collector wells, thereby preventing a decrease in productivity.

This paper presents a case study using Building Information Modeling (BIM) for planning, simulating, and implementing complex site logistics in a headquarter office building construction project in Silver Spring, MD. As part of the project a prefabricated 92ft structural tube steel pedestrian connector bridge was installed between two adjacent buildings in the city of Silver Spring, MD. There were multiple significant challenges to deliver, offload, prepare, and install the connector bridge safely, on time, and with the minimum disturbances to the neighbors. BIM was of the foremost importance to visualize, simulate, analyze, improve, and communicate the site logistics plan from delivery to installation of the connector bridge. As a result of the effort, GC of the project was able to prepare a highly detailed plan, communicate it effectively to all stakeholders, and flawlessly execute the work as planned. This case study would provide a useful reference for contractors who are seeking a better planning method that enables generation of more accurate, implementable, optimized plans for complex site logistics.

Architectural lighting is an important factor to inform brand image to public for a headquarter building at night The government encourages to clients to apply architectural lighting to their buildings for the nightscape. In these days, variable lightings and lighting designs are applied to a building in the world. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and compare architectural lighting design on the various office buildings in Hongkong, Shanghai and Seoul with measured luminance and photographic images at night-time.

가상 환경 기반의 시험 수요가 군사 무기체계 분야에서 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 가상 환경 기반 기술의 증가 이유는 시험 및 평가에서 낮은 비용과 높은 효율을 달성할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 교전환경을 Modeling & Simulation기법으로 가상환경을 만들어 비용을 최소화하고 공간적 제약도 해결할 수 있다. 계측데이터 모의 소프트웨어는 플러그인 아키텍처에 기반을 두어 실 탄도탄 정보를 모의해 탄도탄 요격미사일 시험에 적합한 환경을 구성하도록 설계되었다. 각 기능을 컴포넌트 별로 분리하여 개발해 특정 모델을 Third party 형태로 개발할 때 유용한 구조임을 설명한다.

The CRM is the process of integrated customer management to increase the profitability of firm as a maximizing the consumer's value and supplying the high quality product or service. The Post Information Service Headquarter was recognizing the importance of CRM and constructed the customer relationship management system that based on CRM, steadily has made an endeavor for operating to improve the job operation such as posting, banking and insurance. This research analysed the impact of service quality on the customer satisfaction in the Korea Post Office. First of all, we review the existing literature on measurement of service quality and management. As a result of this review and survey of the employer in post office, nineteen factors emerged as important to the service management of The Korea Post Office; Postal Services, Banking Services, Insurance Services. The regression analysis was utilized for analyzing the influence of service quality factors upon the customer satisfaction. Results show that service quality factors have a statistically significant impact on the customer satisfaction of the Korea Post Office.
