윈도 마스킹 기법과 Soft-core Processor 기반 TDD 스위칭 제어 SoC 시스템 FPGA 구현 (Implementation of a Window-Masking Method and the Soft-core Processor based TDD Switching Control SoC FPGA System)

  • 본 논문에서는 시분할 이중화 방식의 MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network)망 동기화 시스템의 성능개선 및 경량화를 위해 윈도 마스킹 기법(Window-Masking Method)과 HAT(Hardware Attached Top) CPU SoM(System on Module)을 On-Device 화하여 RISC-V 기반의 Soft-core MCU로 하드웨어 가속기(Hardware Accelerator)인 FPGA에 탑재하는 것을 제안한다. 또한 실험을 통해 검증하였다. 실험 결과 성능 면에서는 제안한 기법을 적용하여 동기획득 범위는 -50dBm~+10dBm에서 -60dBm~+10dBm으로 동기 획득 최저 입력 레벨이 -50dBm에서 -60dBm으로 20% 증가, 검출 지연(Latency)은 220ns에서 125ns로 43% 감소하였다. 경량화 면에서는 Soft-core MCU로 대체 함으로써 컴퓨팅 자원(Resource, 48%), 크기(Size, 33%) 및 무게(Weight, 27%)가 평균 36% 경량화하였다.

  • In this paper, we consider the simple redundant structures with the function of hardware based active/standby control. The system includes two switch modules. The switch module is connected to a data bus, but only the active switch module has control of the data bus. The standby unit takes over the function of the active unit when the active unit failure or mode command are asserted. And this paper illustrate the high-speed router system and the overall redundant system architecture. The proposed redundant architecture for 80G Router system is verified and implemented with experiment.

  • The Field Robot means the machinery applied for outdoor tasks in construction, agriculture and undersea etc. In this study, to field-robotize a hydraulic excavator that is mostly used in construction working, we developed an interfacing hardware part of stroke sensing cylinder using magnetic sensor and estimated its performance. It is illustrated by experiment that the proposed control system by stroke sensing cylinder gives good performances in the position control

  • In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller(FLC) is designed for the pointing loop of the spin-stabilized platform. For the fuzzy inference, a fuzzy accelerator board using the Togai InfraLogic software and digital fuzzy processor(DFP110FC) is designed, and a validation of an algorithm for fuzzy logic control is also presented. The pointing loop of the spin-stabilized platform using FLC has better performance of step responses than a proportional controller in case of same loop hain through the software simulation and the experiment of implemented hardware.

  • Borehole radar is one kind of GPR, but it can be used in deep boreholes, and it has many advantages compared with low frequency borehole EM tools, and surface GPR. We have developed various techniques on borehole radar for environment study. The hardware development includes broadband radar system with the functions of polarimetry and inteferometry. By using these systems, we tested the measurements to applications such as subsurface fracture characterization, subsurface cavity detections. In this paper, we will describe the advantages of the advanced radar technology for environment studies, and show some experiment results.

  • This paper proposes wireless fan system as noise measurement system. It is easy to combine measurement system(Hardware) and analytic system(software) to the Wireless tan system.   • Real-time adaptive lattice predictor was implemented on the TMS32020 DSP chip for digital signal processing. The implemented system was composed of Input-Output units and centrla processing-control unit and its supporting assembly soft ware. The performance of hardware realization was verified by comparing input signal and one-step prediction signal which are calcualted by the real-time adaptive lattice predictor. As a result, for 4 stage lattice structure, the maximum running frequency was obtained as 6.41 KHz in this experiment.

  • In this paper, we propose a new a new EOST by using the optical JTC(joint transform correlator) as the feature extraction park, because the JTC can adaptively detect the relative displacements of moving targest. Firstly, we derive the BPEJCT(binary phase extraction JTC) which is a phase type JTC and can remove the intracless correlation peaks of the conventional JTC. Then, especially we hardware construction for driving the BPEJTC in real, and with the Kalman target estimation alogorithm, we carried out a target tracking experiment only to show the possibility of real-time implementation of the EOST.
