Adaptive Bit Loading (ABL) in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is often used to achieve the desired Bit Error Rate (BER) performance in wireless systems. In this paper, we discuss some of the bit loading algorithms, compare them in terms of the BER performance, and present an effective and concise Adaptive Grouped Loading (AGL) algorithm. Furthermore, we propose a "weight factor" for loading algorithm to converge rapidly to the final solution for various data rate with variable Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) gaps. In particular, we consider the bit loading in near optimal Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) based MIMO-OFDM system. While using SVD based system, the system requires perfect Channel State Information (CSI) of channel transfer function at the transmitter. This scenario of SVD based system is taken as an ideal case for the comparison of loading algorithms and to show the actual enhancement achievable by our AGL algorithm. Irrespective of the CSI requirement imposed by the mode of the system itself, ABL demands high level of feedback. Grouped Loading (GL) would reduce the feedback requirement depending upon the group size. However, this also leads to considerable degradation in BER performance. In our AGL algorithm, groups are formed with a number of consecutive sub-channels belonging to the same transmit antenna, with individual gains satisfying predefined criteria. Simulation results show that the proposed "weight factor" leads a loading algorithm to rapid convergence for various data rates with variable SNR gap values and AGL requires much lesser CSI compared to GL for the same BER performance.
The purpose of this study was to identify patients' perceptions of health professionals' unkind behavior and the effects of this unkind behavior using a Phenomenological research methodology. Understanding of this phenomena should enlighten nurses to interaction and relationship problems between patient and health professionals and thus lead to further research toward enhancing these interaction and relationships. The subjects were 40 adult patients hospitalized in a university hospital in Seoul. They were from 20 to 65 yews old and hospitalized at IM, GS, OS, NS, OB /GY ward. Their hospital days were from 4 to 72. Data were collected from July 29 to August 9, 1991 and from January 6 to 17, 1992. The research questions were “What behavior on the part of health professionals you perceive as unkind and what effect does such behavior have in you\ulcorner”. Responses to the non-structured open-ended questions were audio-recorded during the interviews done by two nurses researchers. Data were analyzed using the phenomenological method of Colazzi. The validity was enhanced by confirmation of the analysis by two nursing clinical researchers, and professor of psychology, and philosophy, all knowledgable of phenomenological research. From the protocols, 146 significant statements about unkind behavior were organized into 38 formulating meanings which were then grouped into six clusters of themes. Patients' Perceived health professional' unkind behavior as being cold, insincere, unconcerned, disregardful, lacking in technical skill, and failing to provide a therapeutic environment. From the protocols, 65 significant statements about the influence of such behavior on patient care were organized into 18 formulating meanings which were then grouped into four clusters of themes. Patients perceived these unkind behavior influencing then emotionally, physically and having negative effects on their compliance with medical and nursing care. The study points to the need for health professionals to understand how their behavior may be perceived by their patients as unkind behavior. Patients perceptions of health professionals' unkind behavior may suggest the opposite desire, that professionals have exellent medical knowledge and skill and that they be sincere, concerned, respectful and warm emotionally toward their patients.
In this study, homogeneous regions for regional frequency analysis were identified using rainfall data from 61 observation points in Korea. The used data were gathered from 1980 to 2010. Self organizing map and K-means clustering based on Davies-Bouldin Index were used to make clusters showing similar rainfall patterns and to decide the optimum number of the homogeneous regions. The results from this analysis showed that the 61 observation points can be optimally grouped into 6 geographical clusters. Finally, the 61 observations points grouped into 6 clusters were mapped regionally using Thiessen polygon method.
Background: Consumers and patients in the last two decades have increasingly turned to various internet search engines including Google for information. Google Trends records searches done using the Google search engine. Google Trends is free and provides data on search terms and related queries. One recent study found a large public interest in "dental anesthesia". In this paper, we further explore this interest in "dental anesthesia" and assess if any patterns emerge. Methods: In this study, Google Trends and the search term "dental pain" was used to record the consumer's interest over a five-year period. Additionally, using the search term "Dental anesthesia," a top ten related query list was generated. Queries are grouped into two sections, a "top" category and a "rising" category. We then added additional search term such as: wisdom tooth anesthesia, wisdom tooth general anesthesia, dental anesthetics, local anesthetic, dental numbing, anesthesia dentist, and dental pain. From the related queries generated from each search term, repeated themes were grouped together and ranked according to the total sum of their relative search frequency (RSF) values. Results: Over the five-year time period, Google Trends data show that there was a 1.5% increase in the search term "dental pain". Results of the related queries for dental anesthesia show that there seems to be a large public interest in how long local anesthetics last (Total RSF = 231) - even more so than potential side effects or toxicities (Total RSF = 83). Conclusion: Based on these results it is recommended that clinicians clearly advice their patients on how long local anesthetics last to better manage patient expectations.

Introduction. In this study, purpose is to analize the types of golf tourism, inbound or outbound, by using big data and see how movement of industry is being changed and what changes have been made during and after Covid-19 in golf industry. Method Using Textom, a big data analysis tool, "golf tourism" and "Covid-19" were selected as keywords, and search frequency information of Naver and Daum was collected for a year from 1 st January, 2023 to 31st December, 2023, and data preprocessing was conducted based on this. For the suitability of the study and more accurate data, data not related to "golf tourism" was removed through the refining process, and similar keywords were grouped into the same keyword to perform analysis. As a result of the word refining process, top 36 keywords with the highest relevance and search frequency were selected and applied to this study. The top 36 keywords derived through word purification were subjected to TF-IDF analysis, visualization analysis using Ucinet6 and NetDraw programs, network analysis between keywords, and cluster analysis between each keyword through Concor analysis. Results By using big data analysis, it was found out option of oversea golf tourism is affecting on inbound golf travel. "Golf", "Tourism", "Vietnam", "Thailand" showed high frequencies, which proves that oversea golf tour is now the re-coming trends.

This article investigates the general characteristics and developments of the MARC format for holdings data. It also analyzes the record structure, content designation, and the content of it, mainly based on USMARC and KORMARC formats. Structure and content designation of them are almost same with those of the bibliographic and authority formats. The data fields divided into functional blocks based on their functions, but only 0XX, 5XX, 8XX fields are used in the holdings formats. Record contents of the data in the 008 fields include more elements related to the holdings and acquisition information. Variable fields can be grouped into several blocks, including those for numbers and codes; for notes fields, for location , and for holdings data. Holdings data fields include caption and pattern fields, enumeration and chronology fields, textual holdings fields, and item information fields. This article analyzes the content in each data fields in detail.
Decision Tree is one of analysis techniques which conducts grouping and prediction into several sub-groups from interested groups. Researcher can easily understand this progress and explain than other techniques. Because Decision Tree is easy technique to see results. This paper uses CART algorithm which is one of data mining technique. It used 273 variables and 70094 data(2010-2011) of working environment survey conducted by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency(KOSHA). And then refines this data, uses final 12 variables and 35447 data. To find satisfaction factor in working environment, this page has grouped employee to 3 types (under 30 age, 30 ~ 49age, over 50 age) and analyzed factor. Using CART algorithm, finds the best grouping variables in 155 data. It appeared that 'comfortable in organization' and 'proper reward' is the best grouping factor.

A method is described for ideally reconstructing the profile from a surface profiling measurement containing a reasonable amount of null measurement data. The proposed method can conjecture lost information and rectify irregular data that result due to bad measuring environments, signal transmission noise, or instrument-induced errors, The method adopts the concept of computer graphics and consists of several processing steps. First, a search for valid data in the neighborhood of the null data is performed. The valid data are then grouped and their contours are extracted. By analyzing these contours, a bounding box can be obtained and the general distribution of the entire area encompassing the valid and null data is determined Finally, an ideal surface model is overlaid onto the measurement results based on the bounding box, generating a complete reconstruction of the calculations, A surface-profiling task on a liquid crystal display photo spacer is used to verify the proposed method. The results are compared to those obtained through the use of a scanning electron microscope to demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed method.

Speech homomorphic encryption has become one of the key components in secure speech storing in the public cloud computing. The major problem of speech homomorphic encryption is the huge data expansion of speech cipher-text. To address the issue, this paper presents a speech homomorphic encryption scheme with less data expansion, which is a probabilistic statistics and addition homomorphic cryptosystem. In the proposed scheme, the original digital speech with some random numbers selected is firstly grouped to form a series of speech matrix. Then, a proposed matrix encryption method is employed to encrypt that speech matrix. After that, mutual information in sample speech cipher-texts is reduced to limit the data expansion. Performance analysis and experimental results show that the proposed scheme is addition homomorphic, and it not only resists statistical analysis attacks but also eliminates some signal characteristics of original speech. In addition, comparing with Paillier homomorphic cryptosystem, the proposed scheme has less data expansion and lower computational complexity. Furthermore, the time consumption of the proposed scheme is almost the same on the smartphone and the PC. Thus, the proposed scheme is extremely suitable for secure speech storing in public cloud computing.

DNA sequencing provides fundamental data in genomics, bioinformatics, biology and many other research areas. With the emergent evolution in DNA sequencing technology, a massive amount of genomic data is produced every day, mainly DNA sequences, craving for more storage and bandwidth. Unfortunately, managing, analyzing and specifically storing these large amounts of data become a major scientific challenge for bioinformatics. Those large volumes of data also require a fast transmission, effective storage, superior functionality and provision of quick access to any record. Data storage costs have a considerable proportion of total cost in the formation and analysis of DNA sequences. In particular, there is a need of highly control of disk storage capacity of DNA sequences but the standard compression techniques unsuccessful to compress these sequences. Several specialized techniques were introduced for this purpose. Therefore, to overcome all these above challenges, lossless compression techniques have become necessary. In this paper, it is described a new DNA compression mechanism of pattern matching extended Compression algorithm that read the input sequence as segments and find the matching pattern and store it in a permanent or temporary table based on number of bases. The remaining unmatched sequence is been converted into the binary form and then it is been grouped into binary bits i.e. of seven bits and gain these bits are been converted into an ASCII form. Finally, the proposed algorithm dynamically calculates the compression ratio. Thus the results show that pattern matching extended Compression algorithm outperforms cutting-edge compressors and proves its efficiency in terms of compression ratio regardless of the file size of the data.
