Technology Trend of Additive Manufacturing Standardization (적층제조기술의 품질 표준화 동향)

  • Additive manufacturing technology is recognized as an optimal technology for mass-customized distributed production because it can yield products with high design freedom by applying an automated production system. However, the introduction of novel technologies to the additive manufacturing industry is generally delayed, and technology uncertainty has been pointed out as one of the main causes. This paper presents the results of the research and analysis of current standardization trends that are related to additive manufacturing by examining the hierarchical structure of the quality system along with the various industry and evaluation standards. Consequently, it was confirmed that the currently unfolding standardization does not sufficiently reflect the characteristics of additive manufacturing technology, and rather can become a barrier to entry for market participants or an element that suppresses the lateral shearing ability of additive manufacturing technology.

An Experimental Study on Chemiluminescence Characteristics of a Turbulent Flame (난류화염의 화학적 발광 특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The object of this study is a deriving the relations according to the measuring locations between the chemiluminescence and the flame state at commercial burner. In this study, the flame chemiluminescence of the flame of commercial burner is measured using a photomultiplier tube and the optical band-pass filter. In addition, the contour of the chemiluminescence of the flame is measured using the common CCD camera and the optical band-pass filters, and the acquired images is converted by the simple image processing as a matrix form. The results showed that certain relationship between optical data and equivalence ratio exists, and the contour according to the measuring location of the flame chemiluminescence is different by equivalence ratio.

  • TensorFlow와 알파고의 등장으로 인공지능의 높은 성능과 다양한 활용 가능성을 보이면서, 폭 넓은 산업 분야에서 머신러닝 기술에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 반면, 머신러닝 기술은 GPU 기반 고속 병렬처리 기술과 인프라 기술을 기반으로 하고 있기 때문에, 머신러닝 기반 서비스 개발 및 제공에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제를 개선하기 위해서 개발한 고성능 GPU 기반 컨테이너 클라우드 시스템을 소개한다. 해당 시스템은 GPU 기반 고속 병렬처리를 지원하고, Kubernetes 클러스터에서 컨테이너를 기반으로 TensorFlow Serving을 손쉽게 배포할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.

  • In this study, in order to obtain a useful guide line for design and production of automotive heat exchanger components made of 4343/3003/4343 aluminum clad sheets, it was aimed to improve the understanding about the grain refinement effect on brazing characteristic of the clad sheets. Al-10Ti master alloy was used for grain refinement of 3003 core alloy, and the Ti inoculation level was systematically changed up to 0.1 wt%. The three-layer aluminum clad sheets were fabricated by hot roll bonding process. The effect of grain refinement on brazing characteristic of the clad sheets was investigated by evaluating wettability, bonding strength and sagging resistance.

  • 네트워크 기반의 응용 서비스들이 다양하게 개발되고 업무 전산화로 인한 분산 컴퓨팅 환경이 확대됨에 따라 네트워크 트래픽은 증가 일로에 있다. 특히, 많은 트래픽이 집중되는 백본망에서는 제한된 자원을 효율적으로 사용하기 위하여 효과적인 트래픽 관리 방법이 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해서는 우선적으로 네트워크 트래픽의 총 양에 의한 정량적이고 단순 평면적인 정보가 아닌 네트워크 트래픽을 정밀 분석하고 특성을 파악할 수 있는 방법이 필요하며 또한 어느 한 순간의 데이터나 일괄처리 방식에 의한 분석이 아닌 실시간으로 장기적인 트래픽 측정 및 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문은 트래픽 측정방법 및 특성과 한국전력 백본망을 대상으로 네트워크 트래픽의 발원지로부터 목적지까지의 트래픽을 플로우별로 수집, 분석학 수 있는 트래픽 측정 및 분석 시스템에 대하여 기술하였다. 본 시스템은 백본망 전체의 트래픽을 지속적이며 실시간으로 이용자별, 시간대별, 프로토콜별, 응용 서비스별로 정보 추출이 가능하며 그래픽 환경과 웹 기반의 사용자 환경을 제공한다.

  • 유무선 네트워크와 최신 정보처리 기술을 기반으로 한 전자 거래의 활성화는 이미 전 세계적인 추세이다. 그러나 전자 공간에서의 거래는 물류를 이용하여 실제 현실 공간에서의 실물 또는 서비스의 연결이 될 때서야 비로소 완료된다. 전자 물류는 인터넷을 기반으로 한 물류 활동을 지원하기 위한 체계로서 물류 흐름 및 물류 계획과 관련된 서비스를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 전자물류 체계에서 참여 기업들의 물류 거래 프로세스를 관리하기 위한 도구들의 구조 및 개발에 대한 연구 내용을 설명하고 있다.

  • Information superhighway and improvement of computing power result in increase of the requirements for distributed multimedia applications. But, developer of applications needs much time and efforts because of the difficulties of development, enhancement and maintenance of distributed applications. To solve this problem, CORBA is used widely. But, the definitions of CORBA services are required for the brief developments of distributed multimedia applications. Especially, collaboration service is required because multiple users use distributed multimedia service. Collaboration service manages user and group information of applications and makes the interoperability between of multi users. In this paper, we designed collaboration service for CORBA based distributed multimedia applications. Collaboration service is able to maintain group information and to present the ability for collaborative works between of multi users. Application developers can develop the applications easily because the ability of collaborative works is offered by collaboration service.

A Survey about Consensus Algorithms Used in Blockchain

  • Thanks to its potential in many applications, Blockchain has recently been nominated as one of the technologies exciting intense attention. Blockchain has solved the problem of changing the original low-trust centralized ledger held by a single third-party, to a high-trust decentralized form held by different entities, or in other words, verifying nodes. The key contribution of the work of Blockchain is the consensus algorithm, which decides how agreement is made to append a new block between all nodes in the verifying network. Blockchain algorithms can be categorized into two main groups. The first group is proof-based consensus, which requires the nodes joining the verifying network to show that they are more qualified than the others to do the appending work. The second group is voting-based consensus, which requires nodes in the network to exchange their results of verifying a new block or transaction, before making the final decision. In this paper, we present a review of the Blockchain consensus algorithms that have been researched and that are being applied in some well-known applications at this time.

  • Although many tests for stabilization of the software have been done, vulnerability test for a system run by combination of the software of various products has not been conducted enough. This has led to increased threats and vulnerability of system. Especially, web-based software system, which is public, has inherent possibility of exposure to attacks and is likely to be seriously damaged by an accident. Consequently, comprehensive and systematic test plans and techniques are required. Moreover, it is necessary to establish a procedure for managing and handling the results of vulnerability test. This paper proposes vulnerability test plans and designs for implementing automated tools, both of which can be complied with on web-based software systems.

  • 네트워크 기술과 연산 능력을 가진 IC 칩 등의 발전으로 다양한 방식의 원격 사용자 인증 기법이 제안되었다. 기존의 패스워드 기반의 인증 방식은 서버가 사용자를 인증하기 위한 패스워드 테이블을 저장하고 있어야 되는 단점과 해당 테이블이 노출되었을 때 발생할 수 있는 보안 위협 문제점으로 인해 최근에는 스마트카드를 활용하는 인증 방식으로 대체되고 있다. 2013년에 Go와 Lee는 스마트카드를 활용하는 기존 인증 기법들의 취약점들을 분석하고 위장 공격과 패스워드 추측 공격에 대해 안전한 새로운 원격 사용자 인증 방식을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 Go와 Lee가 제안한 사용자 인증 기법을 살펴보고 해당 기법이 가진 취약점을 보인다.
