신뢰성기법에 의한 굴착지반에서의 3차원 지하수 흐름해석 (3-D Groundwater Flow Analysis of Excavated Ground by Reliability Method)

  • 지하수흐름에 대한 신뢰성 해석을 실시하였으며, 흐름에 관여하는 매개변수들이 목표 값의 파괴확률을 초과하는데 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 본 연구를 위하여 2차원 지하수흐름 프로그램을 3-D 프로그램 DGU-FLOW로 확장하여 제작하고, 이를 1계 및 2계 신뢰성 프로그램에 연계하였다. 3차원 흐름 프로그램의 검증은 지하굴착지반의 지하수 흐름 해석 문제를 풀고 이를 MODFLOW 프로그램과 비교하여 수행하였다. 신뢰성부분 또한 몬테칼로 해석을 수행하여 나타난 파괴확률을 비교함으로써 검증하였으며 지하수 흐름에 대한 1계 및 2계 신뢰성해석을 수행하여 산정된 파괴확률 값은 몬테칼로 해석을 통하여 나온 값과 매우 근접하였다. 토질층의 투수계수에 대한 매개변수 해석결과 투수계수의 평균과 분산의 증가는 목표 수량을 초과하는 파괴확률의 증가를 가져오는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 파괴확률의 민감도는 여러흐름 변수중에서 흐름영역 경계부의 일정 수두에 가장 민감한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 불균질.이방성 대수층에서의 지하수 유동분석을 위하여 지구통계학적 기법을 적용하였다. 연구지역은 대한광업진흥공사의 수문지질조사 사업지구인 전남 함평군 손불면 일대이며, 이 지역 관정의 표고와 지하수위의 선형회귀분석 결과 상관성이 매우 큰 것으로 나타났다. 정규크리깅과 코크리깅을 이용하여 작성된 지하수위 등고선도는 산간지역에서 차이가 크고, 서해에 인접한 구릉이나 평지에서는 큰 차이가 없다. 표고 등 고선도를 기준으로 2개의 지하수위 분포도를 비교해 보면 코크리깅에 의한 것이 정밀성이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 정규크리깅과 코크리깅에 의해 작성된 지하수위 등고선도에서 손불면의 지하수 유동상태를 검토해보면, 지형이 높은 산간지역에서 서해바다에 인접한 평야지역으로 지하수가 유동하고 있다. 불균질 이방성.대수층에서의 지하수 유동분석에 대한 지구통계학적 기법의 실효성을 검토하기 위하여 지하수 유동측정기(model 200 $GeoFlo^{R}$)를 이용해서 2개 지하수공내의 유향을 측정한 결과, 측정된 지하수 유향은 정규크리깅과 코크리깅의 지하수위 등고선도에서 추정된 지하수 유향과 대체로 일치하였다.

암석절리와 균열망내에서의 채널흐름에 관한 이론적 수치해석적 연구 (A Theoretical and Numerical Study on Channel Flow in Rock Joints and Fracture Networks)

  • The study on the flow characteristics and analysis of groundwater in discontinuous rock mass is very important, since the water inflow into the underground opening during excavation induces serious stability and environmental problems. To investigate the flow through single rock joint, the effect of various aperture distribution on the groundwater flow has been analyzed. Observed through the analysis is the "channel flow", the phenomenon that the flow is dominant along the path of large aperture for given joint. The equivalent hydraulic conductivity is estimated and verified through the application of the joint network analysis for 100 joint maps generated statistically. Both the analytic aproach based on isotropic continuum premise and the joint network analysis are tested and compared analyzing the gorundwater inflow for underground openings of different sizes and varying joint density. The joint network analysis is considered better to reflect the geometric properties of joint distribution in analyzing the groundwater flow.ater flow.

분산형 해수침투 모델을 이용한 양적 지표 기반의 해안지하수 취약성 평가연구 (Quantitative Assessment of Coastal Groundwater Vulnerability to Seawater Intrusion using Density-dependent Groundwater Flow Model)

  • Extensive groundwater abstraction has been recognized as one of the major challenges in management of coastal groundwater. The purpose of this study was to assess potential changes of groundwater distribution of northeastern Jeju Island over 10-year duration, where brackish water have been actively developed. To quantitatively estimate the coastal groundwater resources, numerical simulations using three-dimensional finite-difference density-dependent flow models were performed to describe spatial distribution of the groundwater in the aquifer under various pumping and recharge scenarios. The simulation results showed different spatial distribution of freshwater, brackish, and saline groundwater at varying seawater concentration from 10 to 90%. Volumetric analysis was also performed using three-dimensional concentration distribution of groundwater to calculate the volume of fresh, brackish, and saline groundwater below sea level. Based on the volumetric analysis, a quantitative analysis of future seawater intrusion vulnerability was performed using the volume-based vulnerability index adopted from the existing analytical approaches. The result showed that decrease in recharge can exacerbate vulnerability of coastal groundwater resources by inducing broader saline area as well as increasing brackish water volume of unconfined aquifers.

유선 분석법의 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Streamline Analysis Method)

  • In order to properly evaluate the spatio-temporal variations of groundwater flow, the data obtained in field experiments should be corroborated into numerical simulations. Particle tracking method is a simple simulation tool often employed in groundwater simulation to predict groundwater flow paths or solute transport paths. Particle tracking simulations visually show overall the particle flow path along the entire aquifer, but no previous simulation studies has yet described the parameter values at grid nodes around the particle path. Therefore, in this study, a new technical approach was proposed that enables acquisition of parameters associated with particle transport in grid nodes distributed in the center of the particle path in groundwater. Since the particle tracking path is commonly referred to as streamline, the algorithm and codes developed in this works designated streamline analysis method. The streamline analysis method can be applied in two-dimensional and three-dimensional finite element or finite difference grid networks, and can be utilized not only in the groundwater field but also in all fields that perform numerical modeling.

제주도 성산유역의 저투수층 구조에 따른 지하수 흐름 분석 (Analysis on Groundwater Flow According to Low Permeable Layer Structure over Seongsan Watershed of Jeju Island)

  • The depth of low permeable layer in Jeju Island was analyzed using the geologic columnar section data. The highest low permeable layer was found in center of Mt. Halla and the deepest area was in eastern part of Jeju Island. The study area, Seongsan watershed, is located in the eastern part of Jeju where the low permeable layer showing deep in a northward direction. Based on this analysis, the MODFLOW modeling was performed for groundwater flow of Seongsan watershed. The boundary of Seongsan watershed was set up as a no-flow and the modeling result showed the difference -0.26~0.62 m compared to the observed groundwater level. Meanwhile, MODFLOW model results considering low permeable layer showed -0.26~0.36 m differences compared to groundwater level and indicated more accurate than no-flow method result. Therefore, to interpret the groundwater flow over Seongsan watershed, comprehensive consideration including the low permeable layer distribution below the basalt layer is needed.

절리암반내 지하수 및 주입재의 유동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flow Characteristics of Groundwater and Grout in Jointed Rock)

  • 본 논문에서는 유한차분법, 채널망 해석법 및 절리망 해석법 등 다양한 해석기법을 이용하여 개별 암석절리 및 절리암반에서의 지하수 유동과 주입재의 유동거동을 연구하였다. 유동거동은 두개의 상이한 관찰규모, 즉 변화하는 간극분포를 가진 실험실 규모의 거친 절리면과 3개의 절리군에 속한 단절된 절리들을 포함하고 있는 현장 규모의 절리암반에 대해 수행되었다. 단일절리에서의 유동해석결과 물과 주입재 모두 간극분포에 의존하는 채널흐름의 특성을 확인할 수 있었다. 유한차분법과 기존의 이론해에 의한 유량 계산결과를 비교 분석하였다. 절리암반의 경우 절리의 수와 굴착된 원형공동의 직경을 증가시키면서 공동내부로의 지하수 유입량을 분석하였다. 이 분석에는 절리망 해석법과 Goodman의 이론해를 사용하여 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 절리망 해석법의 경계효과, 절리망의 비균질성이 지하수 유동에 미치는 영향 등을 논의하였다.

  • In analysis of pumping test data, generally infinite domain has been assumed. However, in many cases, this assumption was not readily satisfied. Some boundaries conditions and natural heterogeneity of hydrogeologic properties would play critical roles on groundwater flow and contaminant transport. This study examined effects of some boundary conditions and heterogeneity on the groundwater flow and contaminant transport with basic numerical groundwater modeling, which provides implications for remediation of contaminated groundwater.

WINFLOW 모델을 이용한 지하수 유동해석 (Groundwater Movement Analysis Using the WINFLOW Model)

  • This study examines groundwater movement system analysis and movement forecast algorithm using finite element method. The target is Cheongha-myeon area, Bukgu, Pohang-city which has many difficulties in water supply during drought period. From the comparison of the differences between obtained values by WINFlOW model and observed values, it is thought that groundwater head distribution under steady flow is reflected well at the level of reliability Groundwater movement of study area shows stable pattern from western watershed to eastern coastal area while flow path is dense and steep in the center of the coastal area. The results of particle tracing for each well show a comparatively straight line from the western boundary side to the observation position at the upper area of the well, and are analyzed as it diffuses according to getting closer to the coast at the lower area of the well. The result of effect circle examination attendant on pumping amount in study area shows variation tendency that groundwater head decreases at the side and the lower area more than at the upper area of the well when groundwater flows from west to east(coast). As mentioned above, satisfactory results of groundwater movement analysis using WINFlOW model, two dimensional groundwater movement analysis model, are obtained through the great decrease of physical uncertainty of groundwater movement system.
