영상궤환을 이용한 이동체의 주적 및 잡기 작업의 구현 (Implementation of tracking and grasping the moving object using visual feedback)

  • Recently, the vision system has the wide and growing' application field on account of the vast information from that visual mechanism. Especially, in the control field, the vision system has been applied to the industrial robot. In this paper, the object tracking and grasping task is accomplished by the robot vision system with a camera in the robot hand. The camera setting method is proposed to implement that task in a simple way. In spite of the calibration error, the stable grasping task is achieved using the tracking control algorithm based on the vision feature.

신경망을 이용한 3차원 잡는 점들의 해석적 결정 (Analytic Determination of 3D Grasping points Using Neural Network)

  • This paper deals with the problem of synthesis of the 3-dimensional Grasp Planning. In previous studies the genetic algorithm has been used to find optimal grasping points, but it had a limitation such as the determination time of grasping points was so long. To overcome this limitation we proposed a new algorithm which employs the Neural Network. In the Neural network we chose input parameters based on the shape of the object and output parameters resulted from optimization with the GA method. In this study the GRNN method is employed, it has been trained by the result value of optimization method and it has been tested by known object. The algorithm is verified by computer simulation.

Design of a Robot's Hand with Two 3-Axis Force Sensor for Grasping an Unknown Object

  • This paper describes the design of a robot's hand with two fingers for stably grasping an unknown object, and the development of a 3-axis force sensor for which is necessary to constructing the robot's fingers. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's fingers, they should measure the forces in the gripping and in the gravity directions, and control the measured forces. The 3-axis force sensor should be used for accurately measuring the weight of an unknown object in the gravity direction. Thus, in this paper, the robot's hand with two fingers for stably grasping an unknown object is designed, and the 3-axis force sensor is newly modeled and fabricated using several parallel-plate beams.

  • In this paper, it was presented to design and analyze the kinematics of grasping a rigid object by means of multi-degrees-of-freedom hand fingers. It is shown firstly that a set of kinematic equation describing dynamics system of the arm and object together with geometric constraint of tight area-contacts is formulated by Lagrange's equation. It has been presented secondly that the problems of controlling both the forces of pressing object and the rotation angle of the object under the geometric constraints are discussed. In this research, the control method for static stable grasping and enhancing dexterity in manipulating things is proposed. It is illustrated by computer simulation that the control system gives the performance improvement in the kinematic grasping of the hand fingers of robot.

Master hand와 slave hand를 이용한 로붓 손의 제어 알고리즘 개발 및 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development and realization of control algorithm for robot hand using master hand and slave hand)

  • We made a master hand which can be used as tool for getting grasping data. By using the data from the master hand, we analyzed grasping patterns of human hands. Based on this analyzed results, we developed an grasping algorithm for some particular hand actions. To develop the above algorithm, we programmed a 3D simulation S/W using Visual C++. And we made a slave hand to prove the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • We implemented a real-time servo system for a manipulator based on Laser Range Finder (LRF). and established algorithms for grasping a moving cylinder. We devised a manipulator mechanism and driving hardware based on a system board equipped with Xscale Processor with real-time operating system RTAI on Linux. The manipulator motor driver is connected to the system board via CAN communication link, and LRF is connected via RS-232C. We implemented real-time software including CAN device driver, RS-232C device driver, manipulator trajectory generator, and LRF control software. A typical application experiment for grasping a cylinder with circle motion demonstrated our system's real-time performance.

  • In this study, the new prosthetic hand which can perform sensory feedback is developed. Although the continuous development of current prosthetic hands, they have some drawbacks. The drawbacks are the low grasping capabilities, the lack of sensory information given to the user, and so on. Despite the improvement of the function of fingers, the sensory information problem still remains undeveloped. By using differential gear and underactuated mechanical design, it can be solved with the minimum additional weight. And it will be applied to all of the prosthetic hands.

복잡 환경에서 가로막힌 물체 잡기를 위한 작업-모션 계획의 연계 (Task and Motion Planning for Grasping Obstructed Object in Cluttered Environment)

  • Object manipulation in cluttered environments remains an open hard problem. In cluttered environments, grasping objects often fails for various reasons. This paper proposes a novel task and motion planning scheme to grasp objects obstructed by other objects in cluttered environments. Task and motion planning (TAMP) aims to generate a sequence of task-level actions where its feasibility is verified in the motion space. The proposed scheme contains an open-loop consisting of three distinct phases: 1) Generation of a task-level skeleton plan with pose references, 2) Instantiation of pose references by motion-level search, and 3) Re-planning task based on the updated state description. By conducting experiments with simulated robots, we show the high efficiency of our scheme.

손목 스트레칭이 파악력과 근골격계질환에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Wrist Stretching on Grasping Power and Musculoskeletal Disorders)

  • In order to conduct a study on the importance of the wrist joint, which causes a lot of pain among middle-aged people, in relation to work related to musculoskeletal disorders, the effect of stretching on grasping power was studied. In order to compare the grasping power of the wrist for middle-aged people in their 50s, the experiment was conducted by comparing before and after the wrist joint motion stretching. According to the experimental results of wrist gripping power for the control group and the experiment group on wrist gripping power, it was investigated that stretching did not change much in increasing wrist gripping power, but stretching application had an effect on wrist gripping power. In terms of preventing musculoskeletal accidents, reducing pain due to degenerative diseases, and preventing accidents, stretching seems to have an effect when approaching, so it is considered that continuous stretching before and after work is necessary. Therefore, it is suggested that stretching time secured quantitatively through safety and health education before work is necessary.

  • This paper is concerned with the estimation of a wafer part in grasping system. The estimation of a wafer size in grasping system is very important because a wafer must be placed in accurate position. The accurate information of a wafer size should be forward to Robot in order to place a wafer in accurate position. So in this paper, we decide the size of a wafer with Fuzzy Logic and consider the possibility of this method by simulation.
