  • A GUI based pre/post processor program, which is based on the MFC and OpenGL library in the Windows O/S, hee been developed for NUFLEX Using this program, users are able to generate and modify structured or unstructured grid geometries, set all the parameters for the solver, and observe the results of the simulation in graphic view by vector or scalar plots. The mesh geometry data can be imported from or exported to other programs by supporting functions for reading from and writing to CGNS data format files.

  • A storage tube, Tektronix 4010, was added to NOVA 840 system at Korea Advanced Institute of Science in 1974 and efforts were made to develop an interactive graphics system. These include a software library, called TCS(Terminal Control System) [4], algorithms for hidden line and surface eliminations [5. 6], and two single user graphics systems based on different concepts involving graphic languages [2, 11]. A storage tube is a low-cost terminal, which is useful in certain applications, but introduces some problems since partial modification of the screen is not possible without erasing it entirely. Thus it has far reaching effects on the design of an interactive graphics system. The components of an interactive graphics system will be explained in section 2 and their relation ships with the choice of storage tube as the output device will be pointed out.

  • This paper is related to a performance analysis of B-NT system, which is essential compositional equipment of B-ISDN access network. A simulator enabling performance analysis according to the change of network configuration topology and the change of user traffic is developed in this study. The developed B-NT, system simulator consists of graphic user interface module, simulation program automatic generator module, and B-NT system model library module. As examples of the results of performance analysis using the simulator, end-to-end user cell transmission delay time, queueing delay time in each system, and cell loss rate in the head node switch are presented. The simulator developed in this paper can be utilized in determining the network topology of B-NT system.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop an integrated environment system for finite element structural analysis using OOA(Object-Oriented Analysis) and OOD(Object-Oriented Design), with may reduce inconveniencies in use such as file input of macro command and improve lacks of graphic presentation in the established finite element analysis program. This paper is attempted to suggest an easy approach to object-oriented concept and convenient programming. Two languages are used together in this paper instead of single C++ language for the development of object-oriented program. : Visual Basic with CDK(Custom Development Kit), and Borland C++ with OWL(Object Windows Library).

  • In this paper, we will introduce how we utilize 3D design model information at factory automation field with welding robot OLP system which is in using at out shipyard. At this area, so far, most of design information is used in NC data generation for steel cutting, but we can utilize 3D model information at more wide and complex area likes robot welding. Moreover, OpenGL which is a graphic library can be possible to verify robot NC data is correct or not through 3D simulation even if some one is not a expert at robot handling.

  • When we are teaching the programming education, it is very useful if we show that a flow chart generate automatically owing to a written out of the program. In this paper, we introduce the method of a flow chart generating from the simple imperative language for the While program. After the While program is translated by the Flow Chart Language program, it is generated automatically by making use of the java graphic library. Taking advantage of our results of the study, beginners can understand the flow of the program easily.

  • In university of Korea, the computerization of facility management is lower level than other management areas such as educational matters, administration, library, computing center, teaching assistance, and teaching methodology. So we need urgently the blueprint for an information-oriented and integrated facility management system. In this research, It is presented and implemented an FMS(Facility Management System) for efficient management of the ground and underground facilities on a campus. This studies is computerized the drawings, protocols, and ledgers. It is used a GIS(Geographic Information System) to get the geographical information of facilities. The data more efficiently could be search and update on this system. The decision making process understanding the present facility condition, and analyzing the condition of location could be performed easily by the GUI(Graphic User Interface) of the system.

  • 현재 시장의 구매활동은 소비자가 직접 물건을 보고 구매하거나 인터넷을 통해 물품의 대략적인 이미지를 보고 구매하는 방식이다. 특히, 부피가 크거나 무게가 무거운 가구 같은 것은 소비자들이 직접 찾아가서 보는 경우가 많다. 하지만 소비자들이 실제로 보고 구입해도 실제로 가구를 배치 할 때는 주변의 어울림과 맞지 않아 마음에 들지 않는 경우가 많다. 그 이유는 실제로 가구들을 미리 놓아보지 못한다는 점 때문이다. 이에 따라 대중화된 스마트기기에서 가구들을 미리 배치해보고 해당 정보를 미리 볼 수 있도록 함으로써 구매자들의 욕구를 충분히 충족시키고 소비자들이 물품을 구매한 뒤 불만을 없앨 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 증강현실을 이용하여 가구배치 애플리케이션을 개발하여 변화하는 스마트사회에서 소비자들이 좀 더 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 구매 방식을 제안한다.

  • 1. CAD system과 PROPS를 접속하여 CADsystem에서 Design된 surface를 사용할 수 있으며 Robot Kinematics를 graphic library화하여 surface배치 수상 및 path generation 및 animation을 통하여 가공작업을 위한 로보트 운동을 simulation할 수 있게 되었다. 2. Denavit-hartenberg transformation form에 의해 여러 Robot Kinematic을 일반적인 형식으로 library화 하였다. 3. 금형 가공의 공정들을 Menu로 만들어서 Expert system을 도입, 손쉽게 Interactive한 작업을 할 수 있게 하였다. 4. 차후의 연구 목표는 로보트 Calibration S/W의 개발 및 실현 그리고 Expert System을 이용한 Robot Program Generator의 완성을 통한 전체 Off-line programming System을 정립하는데 있다. 이를 위해서 더 실제적인 Tool Path Generation과 Expert System을 이용한 가공 조건의 결정 및 User Interface를 위한 Window가 개발되어야 한다. 5. 1차년도에 개발된 Robotonomic Tool System의 유연성을 확장시킨다. 실험결과를 바탕으로 공정 자동화 시스템을 확장시킨다. 6. 연마공정자동화에 필수적인 공구 및 공구 Tip의 표준화 및 자동교환장치를 개발한다. 7. 금형연마 Cell의 구성요소들간의 Interface 및 System Controller에서의 집적화를 시킨다.

  • In this paper, a real-time multibody vehicle dynamics and control model has been developed for a virtual reality intelligent vehicle simulator. The simulator consists of low PCs for a virtual reality visualization system, vehicle dynamics and control analysis system a control loading system, and a network monitoring system. Virtual environment is created by 3D Studio Max graphic tool and OpenGVS real-time rendering library. A real-time vehicle dynamics and control model consists of a control module based on the sliding mode control for adaptive cruise control and a real-time multibody vehicle dynamics module based on the subsystem synthesis method. To verify the real-time capability of the model, cut-in, cut-out simulations have been carried out.
