  • Residents under hazard and disaster conditions should be evacuating to the pre-assigned nearest safety facilities, community hall, local schools, friend's houses, etc. in a safety zone, quickly as soon as possible. The small percentage of evacuees shows serious economy class syndrome after the quake, because those people are forced to a stressful dairy evacuee-life in scattered homes and/or in-vehicle, for instance. Then, we consider on supporting evacuees using heart rate variability, Geospatial Positioning System (GPS) and WiFi functions of a smartphone, and Web-server on the Internet to keep their health in good conditions.

This study was conducted with a sample of 751 fifth-grade elementary school children and 49 nutritionists working in elementary schools. Nutritionists felt the need to develop new recipes, and were taking note of leftovers in an effort to increase namul consumption. 47% of the students reported liking namul, and the majority of students who disliked namul reported that its taste was the reason that they disliked it. Nutritionists believed that the students avoided namul due to a lack in familiarity, as well as taste. However, students answered that they disliked namul not only due to its taste, but also due to its texture.

Methods : Of the 16,664 subjects who responded to the 10th Korean Welfare Panel Survey, 2,246 respondents who answered that they were currently smoking were included in this study. Results : The variables that affected smoking cessation plans were female, low education level, low level of smoking per day, and more than 24 hours of smoking cessation experience. Conclusions : Expanding the smoking cessation program for women, preventing smoking in schools and providing smoking cessation education will likely have a positive effect on smoking cessation plans. In addition, it would be helpful to increase the amount of smoking cessation support aimed at reducing the amount of cigarettes smoked per day and continuing smoking cessation for more than 24 hours.
