The purpose of this study is to develop house caddie uniforms design which reflects the CI and image of 'Golfzon County Sunwoon', a representative golf course in the Honam circle, to enhance a positive image of a golf course and improve house caddies' service quality and their working efficiency. Study methods were as follows. In literature review, the domestic golf industry, golf culture, and house caddie uniforms as one of golf course CI elements were investigated. In empirical study, the formativeness of domestic golf course CI and house caddie uniforms was analyzed. Then, house caddie uniforms were developed using CI which is the symbolic element of a golf course. A concept for uniforms design development was 'Golf & Culture Communication' to symbolically represent an image of IT-based total golf culture club. It was limited to female uniforms design for spring or autumn that is high in application. A symbol and a logo which are symbolic elements of a golf course were freely worn in the form of a brooch. Symbolism and practicality were reinforced using PB(v), R(v), YR(v), and Y(vp) colors only for a golf course. Functionality was improved by using UV protection materials and aesthetics was expressed by reflecting 2014-15 F/W trends.

This study was to examine the physical environment of public golf course for golf popularization. More specifically, this study was try to analyze the effects of physical environment on customer emotional response, golf course's image and recommendation intention of public golf course. This study were analyzed by frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, among the physical environmental variables of public golf course, facilities' convenience, cleanliness, and aesthetics had positive effects on customers' positive emotion. Second, among the physical environmental variables of public golf course, facilities' cleanliness had effects on customers' negative emotion. Third, physical environment of public golf course had positive effects on golf course's image. Fourth, physical environment of public golf course had positive effects on recommendation intention.

Golf has emerged as one of the key leisure activities in Korea. This study examines the characteristics of golf consumption typology. A total of 256 questionnaires were collected from membership and public golf courses in the Incheon and Gyeonggi district. This study explores user satisfaction with and service at the golf course. The results of this research show that there are primary factors in user satisfaction regarding course facility, scores and operational services. Detail responses regarding these golf courses prove that the whole of the golf course, satisfaction with the course layout, landscaping and user gratification with the golf facilities are influenced by contentment with the management of the golf course. Satisfaction with scores were correlated with user contentment with the golf course. Detailed factors regarding operational services cited such aspects as ease of reservations, staff and tee time, all factors related to the smooth arrangements and progress that are influenced by operational services. This research was more concerned with course design and facility operations than marketing operations, which can satisfy users through investment in variety and expansion of the course facilities. Satisfaction in these areas is correlated to revisits and recommendations to others. The types of membership and public golf courses face difficulty in development, operation, and facilities maintenance, among other features. This paper will help separate out each quality in order to formulate difference stratagems for marketing and operation tactics in the future.

This research the impacts of the golf tourism motivation to the golf course selecting character and satisfaction, behavioral intention. Questionnaire was studied by Korean tourists visited China Golf Course. The results of this study are as follows. First, golf tourism motive appeared with the fact that affects in the golf course selecting. Second, golf tourism motive appeared with the fact that affects in the satisfaction and behavioral intention. Through these results, first, we could suggest a new data for the development of the marketing strategy for the golf course selecting of golf tourist visit in China. Second, we can be improved was able to a marketing strategy as golf tourism motivation for satisfaction and behavioral intention.

The purpose of this study is to discovered assessment items for improving athletic efficiency and management of golf courses. Through this, the study intended to provide basic data for creating competitive golf courses and management. Important assessment items were selected by inducing preliminary assessment items and conducting a preliminary survey and a main survey for specialists through a theoretical study. For the survey results studied, reliability and average value for importance were calculated using SPSS/PC Window Release 12.0. As assessment of importance by assessment area, in athletic efficiency assessment, course management level was the highest, followed by fairness of games and operation of games. In management assessment, importance of service level, information management, facility management, management of game assistants, etc. were high. As assessment of importance by assessment item, it was found that 'variety of golf shot' and 'the length of a course' were important in course layout. Also 'start interval among teams' and 'disturbance of play' were assessed as important items in game operation, while 'fair reservation' and 'rounding rotation time' were important in fairness of games. In addition, in information management, 'kind service of golf course staffs' and 'prompt reservation and notification' were found to be important assessment items. In facility management, all assessment indexes were over 4.0, which means all of them are important for quality of golf course and competitiveness. In membership service, 'appropriate price of goods for sale' and 'service for members' were relatively important assessment items. Further, in management of game assistants, 'qualifications and skillfulness of game assistants' was assessed as a very important index. Although the current study only selected important items to assess excellent golf courses, it is necessary to apply the study results to the actual sites and verify them for golf course both at domestic and abroad.

A golf course provides comfortable leisure space, but construction of it demands eco-friendly design which minimizes the environmental spoil and harmonizes its surroundings. Therefore, it is highly recommended that appropriate understanding of existing golf course, accurate estimation of new golf course design and precise construction. In this study, data for golf course design were researched using LiDAR intensity. Consequently, a sectional registration data of a golf course was generated efficiently.

This study is purposed to a ripple effects of development of a golf course in rural area analyzed to site suitability, social impact of public opinions, and economical impact. And for study, it is setting up development model of gamaksan golf course in geochang-gun will be constructed. It is carried out those as follows;(1) it is, first of all, examined site suitability considering act and site factors, opinion of residence's, and development planning of geochang-gun;(2) it is, secondly, suggested to analyzed social-economic impacts in rual area;(3) it is, finally, established an alternative proposal for development of a golf course considering it's merits and faults. The result of study, A appropriateness of development planning in golf course is focused to 'regional planning integrated', 'educational program for It's', and 'development council committee' considering harmony of a specialist, residents, government employee, businessman for a identity of interests.

Recently, there are rapid increases in golf population. People are enjoying play golf not only during the day but also at night as well. Although there are not many golf courses that offer night play, people inquire place where they can play night games due to their busy daily lives. To supply the demand in national golf courses night-lighting has been pushed ahead competitively, however there are few standards of lighting design in golf course. Because it is not clear that the standards of lighting in the world yet, this study aimed at presentation of standard of lighting design for planning golf course. Investigating the cases of golf course, this study suggested illumination standard of golf course to support comfortable visual-environment and measures to prevention glare for visitors.

Nowadays, there are increasing demands of golf courses and it is necessary to make more golf courses than the present. To do this, we need to improve the environmental problems with the regional inhabitants, and it is said that the first thing to be considered in developing any golf course in Korea is to preserve the environment. In this context, the purpose of this study is to set forth several design factors to lessen the negative impacts which are accompanied with the development of golf courses. 1. The present conditions of golf courses in Korea Many new golf courses have come into being, particularly since the late 1980s, and now, in the year of 1997, over one hundred of golf courses are doing their business, yet the number of golf course is still less than required. So far, over a half of them have been made in the vicinity of Seoul on account of various reasons, and this has adversely affected on our natural environment. This unreasonable development of golf courses has caused serious water pollution, landslides and the other problems. Also, the topography of Korea is not good for golf courses. Although the demands of golf courses are increasing, the suitable sites for them are very limited, and therefore it is sometimes unavoidable to make golf courses on steep hills. The relationship between microbial activity and physico-chemical characteristics of golf course soils were investigated in Kyonggi Province with different open years. The increasing tendency of soil PH with depth seemed to the result of mineral leaching. Exchangeable $Ca^2$+ , $Mg^2$+ and K+ showed relatively higher concentration in lower horizon indicating the leaching of minerals. The minerals were heavily leached in older golf course. There was a significant positive correlation between pH and $Ca^2$+.The contents of organic matters, total nitrogen and phosphorus were high in higher horizon.Dehydrogenase activity(DHA) and the content of ATP were determined as an index of soil microbial activity. DHA value was significantly different with golf club as well as golf courses ac-cording todifferent open year. This indicates that DHA was affected by several fertilizertreatments rather than herbicide pesticide treatments. DHA was positively correlated with water holding capacity and total nitrogen. The content of ATP was high in fairway and in golf course with older open year, showing the similar tendency with the results of DHA.
