This Paper Presents a Method for Stitching a Large Number of Images Recorded by a Large Number of Individual Users Through a Cellular Phone Camera at a Venue. In Contrast to 360 Camera Solutions that Use Existing Fixed Rigs, these Conditions must Address New Challenges Such as Time Synchronization, Repeated Transformation Matrix Calculations, and Camera Sensor Mismatch Correction. In this Paper, we Solve this Problem by Updating the Transformation Matrix Using Time Synchronization Method Using Audio, Sensor Mismatch Removal by Color Transfer Method, and Global Operation Stabilization Algorithm. Experimental Results Show that the Proposed Algorithm Shows better Performance in Terms of Computation Speed and Subjective Image Quality than that of Screen Stitching.

In case that limited resources can be mobilized, non-structural countermeasures such as 'monitoring using Information and Communication Technology might be one of solutions to mitigate disaster risks. Having established the monitoring system, operational and maintenance costs to maximize the effectiveness might trouble the authority concerned or duty attendant who is in charge. In this respect, "Guerrilla Sensor" would be very cost effective because of the inherent mobility characteristic. The sensor device with the IRIS camera and GPS (Global Positioning System) equipped, is basically battery-operated and communicates with WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access). It has a strong advantage of capabilities for 'Disaster Response' with immediate and prompt action on the spot, making the best use of IoT (Internet of Things), especially with the mobile web. This paper will explain how the sensor system works in real-time GIS (Geographic Information System) pinpointing the exact location of the abnormal movement/ground displacement and notifying the registered users via SMS (Short Message Service). Real time monitoring with early warning and evaluation of current situations with LBS (Location Based Service), live image and data information can help to reduce the disaster impact. Installation of Guerrilla sensor for a real site application at Gimcheon, South Korea is also reported.
This paper proposes a new IPv6 networking paradigm as a counter answer to the rationale for locator/identifier separation. Instead of involving separate number spaces each for node identifiers and locators, the context of the IP address as a node identifier alone is utilized and no additional locators are incorporated. That is, there are only node addresses and no locators, and location information is indirectly derived from neighbor relations between nodes. In order to accomplish this, no subnet IDs are utilized; the ID value is set to zero for all subnets. The paper details how to construct this paradigm through novel choice of operational policies in various IPv6 protocols and some trivial modifications. Especially, inherent provision of intra-domain node- as well as subnet-mobility by use of standard link-state intra-domain routing protocols is discussed. A number of important advantages of this paradigm over the canonical IPv6 networking and various known solutions of locator/identifier separation are discussed. Tailoring for multi-area domains and IPv4 is left for further study.

This paper proposes a novel swarm intelligence optimization method which integrates bacterial foraging optimization (BFO) with quantum computing, called quantum bacterial foraging optimization (QBFO) algorithm. In QBFO, a multi-qubit which can represent a linear superposition of states in search space probabilistically is used to represent a bacterium, so that the quantum bacteria representation has a better characteristic of population diversity. A quantum rotation gate is designed to simulate the chemotactic step for the sake of driving the bacteria toward better solutions. Several tests are conducted based on benchmark functions including multi-peak function to evaluate optimization performance of the proposed algorithm. Numerical results show that the proposed QBFO has more powerful properties in terms of convergence rate, stability and the ability of searching for the global optimal solution than the original BFO and quantum genetic algorithm. Furthermore, we examine the employment of our proposed QBFO for cognitive radio spectrum allocation. The results indicate that the proposed QBFO based spectrum allocation scheme achieves high efficiency of spectrum usage and improves the transmission performance of secondary users, as compared to color sensitive graph coloring algorithm and quantum genetic algorithm.
With the emergence of integrated global market and increased competition, many companies are interested in sharing the product model data. One of the solutions is to share the product model data over the computer network or the internet using a standard format. CAD/CAM, STEP, and internet technologies make it possible to share the product model data. This paper presents methods to visualize 3D STEP geometry data on the internet. To create an internet-based STEP model visualizer, the programming language Java and 3D scene description language VRML have been experimented. The STEP geometry data can be displayed either by Java applets of by a VRML browser. These visualization technologies are applied to a PDM development. Engineers who have a low cost web browser can share the expensive design information even at a remote site.

The Center for Advanced Meta-Materials (CAMM) was launched in 2014 as a center for Global Frontier Projects supported by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. The center is geared towards developing core technologies in controlling wave energies by incorporating creative artificial structures of sub-wavelength sizes. Furthermore, the center not only investigates novel meta-materials and devices but also builds new design, fabrication and application platforms in order to realize these technologies. The center will create new markets in various industries such as national defense, housing and medical care. In order to accomplish its goals, CAMM is composed of three major divisions: the fabrication/characterization technologies and application division, the advanced metamaterials for electromagnetic wave division and the advanced metamaterials for mechanical wave division. The center will concentrate its efforts in bringing innovations to conventional technologies in sectors such as machinery, ICT, energy and biomedical technology by adopting the use of advanced metamaterial systems. In this talk, we will introduce principles of advanced wave control and describe some advanced metamaterials which can provide new solutions for various social problems in future.

The objectives of this paper were to estimate cell based pollutant loadings for total maximum daily load (TMDL) programs and to evaluate the applicability of the agricultural nonpoint source (AGNPS) model for an intensive agricultural watershed in Korea. The model was calibrated and validated at a watershed of 384.8 ha of drainage area using the observed data from 1996 through 2000 in terms of runoff, suspended solid, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus on a hourly basis. Analysis of spatial variations of pollutant loadings for rainfall frequencies of various intensities and durations were conducted. In addition, the validated model was applied to estimated the TMDL removal efficiency for best management practices (BMPs) scenarios which were selected by taking into account the pollutant characteristics of the study watershed. The model can help to understand the problems and to find solutions through landuse changes and BMPs. Thus, the method used for this study was able to identify TMDL quantitatively as well as qualitatively for various sources pollution that are spatially dispersed. Also it provides an assessment of the impact of BMPs on the water bodies studied, allowing the TMDL programs to be complemented more effectively.

A design-oriented method for analysis of the structural damage due to ship collisions is developed by using the idealized structural unit method(ISUM). The method takes into account yielding, crushing, rupture, the coupling effects between local and global failure of the structure, the influence of strain-rate sensitivity and the gap/contact conditions. The method is verified by a comparison of experimetal and numerical results obtained from test models of double-skin plated structures in collision/grounding situations with the present solutions. As an illustrative example, the method has been used for analyses of a side collision of a double-hull tanker. Several factors affecting ship collision response. namely the collision speed and the scantlings/arrangements of strength members, are discussed.

Recent changes in the dynamics of national economies, market liberalization, changes in technologies and movement of capital have had a major effect on the Asian Pacific region since the early 1990's, as there has been an increasing role for foreign housing developers in those countries that experienced economic liberalization, high urbanization rates and reforms in the housing sectors. Recently the cosmopolitan cities of Indonesia attracted a global interest due to its rapid economic development and great potential of population and natural resources. New town development emerged as one of the solutions to reduce urbanization problems in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the contemporary planning principles of new town developments in representative new town projects supplied by of major housing development companies in Indonesia. We conducted case study on the new town named Kota Baru Parahyangan, which is located in outskirt of Bandung, the third biggest city in Indonesia and supplied by PT. Belaputra Intiland. As a result of this study, we can identify unique characteristics of new town development in Indonesia.
