Background: Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women in Cambodia, a low income country in South-East Asia. The Sihanouk Hospital Centre of Hope (SHCH) is a charity hospital set up by an international non-governmental organisation, HOPE Worldwide. In 2008, SHCH partnered with AmeriCares, a global health organisation to set up and deliver a breast cancer programme to provide education, diagnosis and treatment for women with breast cancer. The objective of this study is to characterise the presentation, diagnosis, treatment and outcomes of women treated under this program. Materials and Methods: A total of 215 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer from 1 March 2008 until 31 March 2011 were studied. Age at diagnosis, tumour size, histological type, tumour grade, ER, lymph node involvement, treatment modalities (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy) were recorded. Data on mortality at 3 years were obtained whenever possible. Results: The median age was 47 years old. Some 77.8% were diagnosed with stage 3 and 4 lesions, and 78.5% underwent mastectomy, of which 28.4% the intent was palliative. Of those whose ER status were known, only 48.3% were ER positive. Only 6 patients could afford chemotherapy while only 1 patient had radiotherapy. Hormone therapy was provided free for those who were ER positive. The overall survival rate at 3 years was 39.1%. Conclusions: Breast cancer presents at a late stage, and because treatment is suboptimal, survival is poor in Cambodia. A more aggressive approach to early detection and treatment needs to be developed to improve outcome from this potentially curable disease.

In cooperative multi-relay networks, the relay nodes which are selected are very important to the system performance. How to choose the best cooperative relay nodes is an optimization problem. In this paper, multi-relay selection schemes which consider either single objective or multi-objective are proposed based on evolutionary algorithms. Firstly, the single objective optimization problems of multi-relay selection considering signal to noise ratio (SNR) or power efficiency maximization are solved based on the quantum bee colony optimization (QBCO). Then the multi-objective optimization problems of multi-relay selection considering SNR maximization and power consumption minimization (two contradictive objectives) or SNR maximization and power efficiency maximization (also two contradictive objectives) are solved based on non-dominated sorting quantum bee colony optimization (NSQBCO), which can obtain the Pareto front solutions considering two contradictive objectives simultaneously. Simulation results show that QBCO based multi-relay selection schemes have the ability to search global optimal solution compared with other multi-relay selection schemes in literature, while NSQBCO based multi-relay selection schemes can obtain the same Pareto front solutions as exhaustive search when the number of relays is not very large. When the number of relays is very large, exhaustive search cannot be used due to complexity but NSQBCO based multi-relay selection schemes can still be used to solve the problems. All simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.
The ‘Ecosystem St Environment’ subject is included in the 7th revised curriculum for high schools in Korea, which ‘Environmental Science’ subject in the 6th curriculum was changed to. The 6th curriculum was announced in 1992 and has been applied till now, and the 7th revised curriculum was announced in the late of 1997 and will start to be applied in school education from 2001. The ‘Ecosystem & Environment’ subject is an integrated subject for liberal arts and science, which deals with environmental problems with approaches of natural science and social science. Its significance lies in understanding and solving environmental problems, and thus improving the quality of human life. And it is aimed to achieve the goal of environmental education in connection with ‘Environment’ subject in middle schools, which is one of the three optional subjects. This subject consists of six domains: human being and environment, ecosystem and environment, environmental pollution, global environmental problems & their measures, environment and society, and environmental preservation. Compared with ‘Environmental Science’ in the 6th curriculum, in this subject less emphasis is put on environmental technological approach and more emphasis is put on environmental ethics and environmental social approach. On the contrary, one unsatisfactory point is as the following: locally integrated solutions of environmental problems are omitted: the organization of the textbook is more or less sporadical and sometimes overlapping; practical solutions are not concrete in writing the textbook and teaching it. The ‘Ecosystem & Environment’ subject which has been organized with new contents according to the 7th revised curriculum for high schools will be successful in achieving the given goal only when a lot of high schools select this subject and are taught effectively.
Deterministic optimization, commonly used to find the geophysical inverse solutions, have its limitation that it cannot find the proper solution since it might converge into the local minimum. One of the solutions to this problem is to use global optimization based on a stochastic approach, among which a large number of particle swarm optimization (PSO) applications have been introduced. In this paper, I developed a geophysical inversion algorithm applying PSO method for the layered-earth resistivity inversion of the small-loop electromagnetic (EM) survey data and carried out numerical inversion experiments on synthetic datasets. From the results, it is confirmed that the PSO inversion algorithm could increase the inversion success rate even when attempting the inversion of small-loop EM survey data from which it might be difficult to find a best solution by applying the Gauss-Newton inversion algorithm.

K-means algorithm is one of the most popular and widely used clustering method because it is easy to implement and very efficient. However, this method has the limitation to be used with fixed number of clusters because of only considering the intra-cluster distance to evaluate the data clustering solutions. Silhouette is useful and stable valid index to decide the data clustering solution with number of clusters to consider the intra and inter cluster distance for unsupervised data. However, this valid index has high computational burden because of considering quality measure for each data object. The objective of this paper is to propose the fast and simple speed-up method to overcome this limitation to use silhouette for the effective large-scale data clustering. In the first step, the proposed method calculates and saves the distance for each data once. In the second step, this distance matrix is used to calculate the relative distance rate ($V_j$) of each data j and this rate is used to choose the suitable number of clusters without much computation time. In the third step, the proposed efficient heuristic algorithm (Group search optimization, GSO, in this paper) can search the global optimum with saving computational capacity with good initial solutions using $V_j$ probabilistically for the data clustering. The performance of our proposed method is validated to save significantly computation time against the original silhouette only using Ruspini, Iris, Wine and Breast cancer in UCI machine learning repository datasets by experiment and analysis. Especially, the performance of our proposed method is much better than previous method for the larger size of data.
The interfacial polymerization method has been applied to various fields as a reaction in which reactive monomers dissolved in two immiscible solutions cause polymerization at the interface. In the case of water treatment membranes, m-phenylene diamine and trimesoyl chloride are used as reactants. The performance of the membrane is affected by various polymerization factors. In this study, we investigated how the spreading rate of the organic solution influences the surface and structure of the membrane. Spreading rate of organic solutions was adjusted to 7.6 and 25 mm/sec. The solution volume of the organic phase was adjusted to 1~3 drops. The observed results showed that cracks were not found in the polyamide membrane when dropping at a drop of 7.6 mm/sec and dropping two drops at 25 mm/sec. On the other hand, cracks occurred in all cases. Therefore, the spreading rate of the initial organic solvent is expected to greatly affect the performance of the polyamide membrane.
In order to make reliable ground shock predictions in saturated geological media, it is necessary to use multi -phase material models and numerical codes. This paper presents the results of theoretical study of the fundamental behavior of multi-phase porous media subjected to high dynanlic loadings, and deals with the development of numerical code MPDAP with JWL(Jones-Wilkins-Lee) model, which is capable of considering the kinds and characters of explosives. To check the global equilhorium equations of the numerical code, we carried out some verifications. In the cases of the elastic spherical wave propagation in a single phase medium, one-dimensional linear ronsolidation, and one timensional wave propagation in saturated linear elastic soils and rocks, the results calculated by MPDAP show close agreement with closed-form solutions or numerical solutions generated with two phase code.

Global cyber threats to industrial control systems are increasing. As a result, related research and cooperation are actively underway. However, we are focusing on strengthening security for physical network separation and perimeter. Internal threats are still vulnerable. This is because the easiest and strongest countermeasure is to enhance border security, and solutions for enhancing internal security are not easy to apply due to system availability problems. In particular, there are many vulnerabilities due to the large number of legacy systems remaining throughout industrial control systems. Unless these vulnerable systems are newly built according to the security framework, it is necessary to respond to these vulnerable systems, and therefore, a security solution considering availability has been verified and suggested. Using Sysmon and ELK, security solutions can detect Cyber-threat that are difficult to detect in unstructured ICS.
The importance of uranium metal is growing day by day in light of its increasing global demand for fulfilling societal needs through atomic power programs. Considering the high demand for uranium, it is necessary to find innovative hydrometallurgical techniques to separate uranium from other associated elements, especially vanadium. This study deals with the separation of uranium(VI) and vanadium(V) from sulfuric acid solutions using commercial amine-based extractants diluted in kerosene. The concentrations of the sulfuric acid solutions ranged from 0.005 to 5.0 mol/L. The effect of extractant concentration ranging from 0.005 to 0.2 mol/L was studied. The temperature was maintained at 25℃ and the experiment was performed for 30 min at an aqueous: organic phase ratio of 1 (A:O = 1:1). The calculated separation factors (SFs) are presented and comparisons are made among all the experiments.

Cloud computing has emerged to be the most effective headway for investigating crime especially cybercrime in this modern world. Even as we move towards an information technology-controlled world, it is important to note that when innovations are made, some negative implications also come with it, and an example of this is these criminal activities that involve technology, network devices, and networking that have emerged as a result of web improvements. These criminal activities are the ones that have been termed cybercrime. It is because of these increased criminal activities that organizations have come up with different strategies that they use to counter these crimes, and one of them is carrying out investigations using the cloud environment. A cloud environment has been defined as the use of web-based applications that are used for software installation and data stored in computers. This paper examines problems that are a result of cybercrime investigation in the cloud environment. Through analysis of the two components in play; cybercrime and cloud environment, we will be able to understand what are the problems that are encountered when carrying out investigations in cloud forensics. Through the use of secondary research, this paper found out that most problems are associated with technical and legal channels that are involved in carrying out these investigations. Investigator's mistakes when extracting pieces of evidence form the most crucial problems that take a lead when it comes to cybercrime investigation in the cloud environment. This paper not only flags out the challenges that are associated with cybercrime investigation in cloud environments but also offer recommendations and suggested solutions that can be used to counter the problems in question here. Through a proposed model to perform forensics investigations, this paper discusses new methodologies solutions, and developments for performing cybercrime investigations in the cloud environment.
