Coordination has been identified as a concern in the cross-cutting issues of food security and nutrition (FSN) in Cambodia. Food Security and Nutrition Information System (FSNIS) in Cambodia is the only "entry portal" to support policy formulation and decision-making with regard to FSN. While this knowledge and information management system has earned a respectful reputation, Council for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) faces many challenges in the implementation of the system. This paper will present how FSNIS has been developed and impacts on policy or strategy related to FSN. In addition, sustainability of the system is a key challenge for FSNIS; yet it is interesting to see how it works. Along with a success story, FSNIS is recognized by its stakeholders as the most successful knowledge and information management system in the field of FSN in Cambodia.

In a global market environment with information technology, the textile and apparel industry tries to survive by having competitive power embedded in Supply Chain Management to improve the interrelation among different stages of industries such as fiber, textile, apparel manufacturing, and retailing. The purpose of this empirical study was to investigate performance on Supply Chain Management of textile firms such as 4 textile export firms and 10 collaborate firms which were adopted SCM system. For research methodology, we developed questionnaires based upon interview and literature review. The results of this study were as follows: There were neutral responses or somewhat dissatisfactions on SCM application from CEOs, CMOs, site workers, and collaborators, but over half of respondents indicated 21-40% improvement of affairs. Standard documents and information sharing of SCM system were salient effects. SCM system with standard documents improved receipts/payments and inventory management most.

This paper proposes various measures of reliability, maintainability and availability in information technology service management(ISTM). Global ITSM standards such as ITIL(IT Infrastructure Library) and ISO/IEC 20000 are introduced. Especially availability management of De-facto and De-juire standards is concerned with users and customers of IT service. The study presents seven reliability measures, six maintainability measures and two availability measures. These results can be effectively used with a appropriate IT availability management tools such as CFIA(Component Failure Impact Analysis) and SOA(Service Outage Analysis), etc.

High speed railroad project management has been almost completed by starting operation of Seoul-Busan high speed railroad with the exception of a few constructing blocks currently in April, 2004. After Korea Rail Network Authority was established in 2004, it needs to develop new project management system for both conventional railroad construction and high speed railroad construction for domestic railroad projects, while it plans to invest in overseas railroad project for logistics innovation and improvement in passenger transport services on a large scale. Therefore this paper provides the method that we can adapt the project management system for high speed railroad containing experiences and know-how from construction of high speed railroad for both conventional railroad construction and high speed railroad construction or improve project management system for high speed railroad to use it as project management system for overseas railroad projects.

To respond to global warming and climate change, Korean Government has implemented the GHG Target Management, which leads to a voluntary reduction in greenhouse gases from large businesses. Korean universities have put efforts on reducing GHG emissions and energy consumptions in the campuses, however, because of various activities and its characteristic of non-profit organization, establishing a long-term plan for reducing greenhouse gases is necessary. In this research, the Seoul National University's energy usage is analyzed and applicable technologies for reducing GHG emissions are extracted. Hence, three scenarios for performing the GHG Target Management are established. Proposed scenario is available for GHG Target Management and it would be expected to support decision- makings for reducing GHG emissions.

In 2021, a new chapter on the general management of glomerulonephritis (GN) was added to the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO). It emphasizes the importance of early general management of GN for improving long-term kidney outcomes and prognosis. The chapter introduces the management of glomerular diseases in 18 subchapters. Here, kidney biopsy for the diagnosis and evaluation of kidney function and the management of complications, such as hypertension, infection, and thrombosis, are presented. Moreover, the adverse effects of glucocorticoids and immunosuppressive therapy, which are commonly used drugs for glomerular disease, are mentioned, and a guideline for drug selection is presented. Each subtheme focused on items reflecting the interpretation of the "practice points" of the expert working group are introduced. In this review of the general treatment for GN in the KDIGO guidelines, excluding pregnancy and reproductive health, we focused on and compared various references pertaining to pediatric GN management.

The purpose of SAICM (Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management) is to minimize the health and environmental hazards from the production and the consumption of chemicals by improving the chemicals management capability of developing countries and implementing a system of the risk assessment and the management based on the precautionary principle until 2020. To achieve this purpose, the UN has prescribed the principles, objectives and establishment of an action plan for the chemicals management strategy which must be carried out at international, local, and national levels, and requested the implementation of the Global Plan of Action (GPA) comprising of 273 recommendations in 36 work areas. SAICM is currently based on voluntary participation, but is expected to become the basic framework of international order in relation to chemicals management in the future. This study aims to analyze the practice in the occupational safety and health area relating to implement 273 recommendations of the GPA, and propose complementary measures for the system in order to provide political advices for establishing future plans to manage industrial chemicals. Twenty three areas of total 36 work areas and 161 items of 273 recommendations have relevance to occupational safety and health areas. We have found that, as a national implementation level, 157 of 161 industrial safety and health items are being implemented at a satisfactory level in regard to the implementation of the GPA, while 4 items, including the ratification of the ILO Conventions 170, 174, 184, and support for GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of chemicals) implementation of developing countries, require additional complementary measures for the system and operation.

Samsung, recognized as a global leading company, has huge and complex supply chain structures and has been improving them continuously for its fast-growing global businesses. SCM 6 Sigma is the state-of-the-art methodology developed through a combination of SCM innovation concepts accumulated from SCM Business Group in Samsung SDS and 6 Sigma which has successfully settled down as the management innovation tool for many companies in Samsung. The ultimate goal of SCM 6 Sigma is to train and develop future supply chain leaders who are more capable of leading SCM innovations. By leveraging the established 6 Sigma Belt System, Samsung aims to alleviate a shortage of SCM talents that has been a bottleneck in improving SCM performances at its group companies. This explains why SCM 6 Sigma is created. SCM 6 Sigma is the unique and critical component for Samsung to implement its various strategies for continuous improvement of its operations at a higher level of effectiveness and systematically as well. In return on these efforts, many SCM innovation projects have been successfully executed through SCM 6 Sigma up to today. In this paper, we introduce the methodology and explain the business rationale behind it together with its deployment case.

Emerging global economic growth and increasing demand for energy supply and demand imbalance and the excessive use of fossil fuels existing the rapidly increasing greenhouse gas emissions and resource depletion of global energy crisis is deepening. Accordingly, improvement of living conditions around and through the natural ecological preservation and the need for a comfortable life for the meeting the importance of energy management and consumption are emerging. Many in the field of architecture for energy-saving measures, and conducting research and verify green building energy ratings and low energy for the initial steps that can be verified from the Energy Performance of BIM(Building Information Model) technology development and commercialization of the building energy to predict the performance objectively, leverages technology in an existing building energy performance analysis and possibilities of BIM-based green building process presented. In this study, using BIM for existing building energy performance analysis of data collected through the objective and efficient management of the energy it consumes Mapping and Management Plan is to research on.

An expansion into the global market increasingly becomes a buzz world among Construction Management(CM) firms in Korea. The objective of this study is to identify potential obstacles and investigate their nature and implications to CM firms in Korea. The study identified 25 obstacles under 5 categories. Base on a questionnaire survey and interviews with CM experts who have global CM projects experience, the study discusses that while there exist various types of obstacles, a more attention needs to be paid for a small number of major obstacles to minimine risks in overseas CM projects. It also suggests that improving pre-construction management competency through securing CM experts should be listed as a top agenda for Korean CM firms.
