  • The availability of PMT(Project Management Tool) in the market has been increasing rapidly in recent years and Significant advancements have been made for project managers to use for planning, monitoring, and control. Recently, studies applying the Reinforcement-Learning Based Construction Schedule Simulation algorithm for construction project process planning/management are increasing. When reinforcement learning is applied, the agent recognizes the current state and learns to select the action that maximizes the reward among selectable actions. However, if the action of global optimal points is not selected in simulation selection, the local optimal resource may receive continuous compensation (+), which may result in failure to reach the global optimal point. In addition, there is a limitation that the optimization time can be long as numerous iterations are required to reach the global optimal point. Therefore, this study presented a method to improve optimization performance by increasing the probability that a resource with high productivity and low unit cost is selected, preventing local optimization, and reducing the number of iterations required to reach the global optimal point. In the performance evaluation process, we demonstrated that this method leads to closer approximation to the optimal value with fewer iterations.

  • We examined the effect of parental folate deficiency on the folate content, global DNA methylation, folate receptor-alpha (FR${\alpha}$), insulin-like-growth factor-2 (IGF-2) and -1 receptor (IGF-1R) in the liver and plasma homocysteine in the postnatal rat. Male and female rats were randomly fed a folic acid-deficient (paternal folate-deficient, PD and maternal folate-deficient, MD), or folic acid-supplemented diet (paternal folate-supplemented, PS and maternal-folate-supplemented, MS) for four weeks. They were mated and grouped accordingly: $PS{\times}MS$, $PS{\times}MD$, $PD{\times}MS$, and $PD{\times}MD$. Pups were killed on day 21 of lactation. The hepatic folate content was markedly reduced in the $PD{\times}MD$ and $PS{\times}MD$ and $PD{\times}MS$ as compared with the $PS{\times}MS$ group. The hepatic global DNA methylation was decreased in the $PD{\times}MS$ and $PS{\times}MD$ groups as much as in the $PD{\times}MD$ group, and all the three groups were significantly lower as compared to the $PS{\times}MS$ group. There were no significant differences in the hepatic FR${\alpha}$, IGF-2 and IGF-1R expressions among the groups. Positive correlations were found between the hepatic folate content and global DNA methylation and protein expressions of FR${\alpha}$, IGF-2 and IGF-1R, whereas an inverse correlation was found between hepatic folate content and plasma homocysteine level in the 3-week-old rat pup. The results of this study show that both paternal and maternal folate deficiency at mating can influence the folate content and global DNA methylation in the postnatal rat liver.

  • Background: The purpose of this study is to investigate current status and investigation of government agencies, communities, corporates, hospitals, non-governmental organization, non-profit organization, and so on which performed Corporate Social Responsibility to global health issues. Methods: This paper focuses on analyzing definition and principle of public-private partnership (PPP), types of PPP, challenge of PPP through delphi survey and interview which need to be discussed by professional groups such as private groups, universities and researches, government decision makers, corporates, and hospitals for successful PPP. Results: Based on this analysis on global health issues of 237 groups, the results were shown that main global health issues of many hospitals were aids of the developing countries (48%). Main program was activities of overseas volunteers (30%) and most 152 groups (42%) supported Asia. Also, this paper gives a definition of PPP that is the growth together in PPPs as a way of fulfilling public tasks in partnership between the state administration and private enterprises to apply both strengths behind transparency, accountability. Conclusion: In conclusion, from the results of analysis, we suggest as prior setting of global issues for both demand and supply side and are served as the effective way by PPP on global health issues. Moreover, this study will be expanded on the sections of findings, multiple researches, discussion, and policy recommendations.

  • This study was preformed to analyze the effect of ISO 26000(Global Standard on Social Responsibility(SR)) establishment and implementation on Korean Industries, and to take proper responsive measures as the results. ISO 26000 Global Standard was begun to prepare the establishment from 2003, and now being ended to be implemented as the effective SR Global Standard. If the ISO 26000 is published, almost countries must prepare the suitable process to implement its contents. But, many organizations involving the government and the enterprises in Korea have not the complete informations and knowledges about the ISO 26000 Global Standard and the implementation processes. This is serious problem. So, this study was aimed and performed to cope with this problem. In this study, the effect analysis of the establishment ISO 26000 Global Standard on Korean Economy and the industries will be performed, and the effective measures to prepare for its implementation will be taken. Especially the measures of the individual company to this situation will be discussed.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to select factors affecting the global competitiveness of testing and certification bodies and to develop evaluation indicator. Methods: Considering the industrial characteristics of Korea, the electrical and electronic test and certification field was selected as the research subject. As a research method, various factors were extracted through exploratory research such as theoretical considerations on the competitiveness of testing and certification bodies and analysis of the growth process of global testing and certification bodies, and focused interviews and surveys were conducted with conformity assessment experts. Results: The 16 factors affecting the global competitiveness of testing and certification institutions were identified. Among the 4 PEST factors, the technological factor had the highest importance, followed by the economic factor, the social factor, and the political factor. The average of the 16 factors was 0.0625, and the 8 factors above the average included 4 technological factors, 3 economic factors, and 1 social factor, but did not include political factors. The factor with the greatest weight was Standardization Capability for Testing & Certification 0.105. Conclusion: It can be used to evaluate the global competitiveness level of domestic testing and certification bodies using evaluation indicators and to establish strategies for strengthening global competitiveness.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to propose the product quality satisfaction index based on multiple linear regression using customer reviews. Methods: The proposed framework is composed of four steps. First, we collect online reviews and divide it into insight phrases. The insight phrases are classified using product attribute dictionary and sentiment analysis is conducted. Second, the importance of attributes is calculated in consideration of both regression coefficient and frequency. Third, the positive rate is calculated concerning sentiment analysis result. Therefore, the quality satisfaction index is measured by the weighted sum of importance and positive rate in the last step. Results: We conduct a case study using 2-years(2020, 2021) of Samsung TV reviews to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. As a result, we found that Picture quality is the most crucial attribute in TV evaluation. The importance of Gaming and content has grown up as the positive rate has also increased. Therefore, the overall satisfaction of TV has increased in 2021 compared to 2020. Conclusion: The result of this study shows that the proposed index reveals the customer's mind efficiently and can be explained by the importance and positive rate of each attribute. By using the proposed index, companies are able to improve and the priority of improvement can be determined.

  • The paper examines the determinants factor and business performance of global supply chain management. Precess innovation, information capability and partnership were used as proxy for the characteristics of determinants factor of global supply chain management. Agility of business performance was used as proxy for the business performance of global supply chain management. Overseas expansion were used as proxy for the intermediate factor. Based on the analysis of seventy two global supply chain management cases, the following results are found. Firstly, it was found that the process innovation, information capability and partnership of determinants factor affects agility of improved business performance. Secondly, process innovation, information capability and partnership of determinants factor improved more agility as overseas expansion. However, there are several limitations such as characteristics of process innovation, information capability and partnership, etc.
