  • The genus Pseudodryinus Olmi, 1989 belonging to the subfamily Dryininae has been reported for the first time in Korea, base on the discovery Pseudodryinus shihoae Mita, 2009. We have provided a redescription and photographs of the diagnostic characteristics of the species.

  • A new species in the genus Tetilla, Tetilla hwasunensis n. sp. was collected from Hwasun Harbor, Jejudo Island in 2009. This species differs from T. serica its lack of spherules and from T. radiate by having sigmaspires. Description and figures of the new species are provided.

  • A pagurid hermit crab, Pagurixus patiae collected from Hyung-ge Island, Busan, southern Korea is newly recorded into the Korean fauna. Pagurixus patiae is the only species of the genus recorded in Korea. Morphological descriptions of P. patiae are provided.

  • Five species in the genus Thalia of the family Salpidae are described: Thalia cicar van Soest, 1973, Thalia democratica (Forskal, 1775), Thalia orientalis Tokioka, 1937, Thalia rhomboides (Quoy and Gaimard, 1824), and Thalia sibogae van Soest, 1973. All of these species are new to the Korean fauna. A key to the Korean Thalia species is provided.

  • Sri Lanka의 Lecithoceridae 과, Lecithocerinae 아과중 Frisilia 속을 정리한 결과 총 11종이 밝혀졌으며, 그 중 Frisilia thapsina, F. tricrosura, F. trizeugma, F. ancylosana, 그리고 F. neocantha 등 5종을 신종으로 기재, 발표한다.

  • The alpheid shrimps collected from Jejudo Island turned out to be a species belonging to the genus Prionalpheus which is an unreported genus from Korean waters. In this paper, Prionalpheus sulu is reported for the first time from Korean waters with description and illustration.

  • Two new species of the genus Nesodillo Verhoeff, 1926, N. kimi and N. philippinensis, are described from Philippines. For the shape of frontal shield, Nesodillo kimi resembles N. monticola (Vandel, 1973) from New Guinea, but differs from it in the shape of male pleopod 1 exopod. N. philippinensis is distinguished from N. kimi by the shape of frontal shield not depressed in the middle of upper border, and of telson with broadly rounded distal margin.

  • Four species of the genus Atylus belonging to the family Dexaminidae are reported from the eastern and southern coasts of Korea. Three of these species are redescribed as new records of this country: Atylus (Atylus) ekmani (Gurjanova), A. (A.) matsukawaensis Hirayama and Takeuchi and A. (Kamehatylus) japonicus Nagata.

  • A new species of Anaxyrina Meyrick, A. albicostalis sp. novo (Lepidoptera, Lecithoceridae, Torodorinae) is described from Thailand and the Philippines. The genus has been known only by the type species, A. cyanopa Meyrick from N. India. Image of adult, forewing venation and illustrations of the male genitalia with aedeagus for the new species are provided.
