  • The use of data analysis on large volumes of data constitutes a challenge for deducting knowledge and new information. Data can be heterogeneous and complex: Semi-structured data (Example: XML), Data from social networks (Example: Tweets) and Factual data (Example: Spreading of Covid-19). In this paper, we propose a generic multidimensional model in order to analyze complex data, according to several dimensions.

  • In the present study, we investigate generic lightlike submanifolds of indefinite nearly Kaehler manifolds. After proving the existence of generic lightlike submanifolds in an indefinite generalized complex space form, a non-trivial example of this class of submanifolds is discussed. Then, we find a characterization theorem enabling the induced connection on a generic lightlike submanifold to be a metric connection. We also derive some conditions for the integrability of distributions defined on generic lightlike submanifolds. Further, we discuss the non-existence of mixed geodesic generic lightlike submanifolds in a generalized complex space form. Finally, we investigate totally umbilical generic lightlike submanifolds and minimal generic lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite nearly Kaehler manifold.

  • To develop a sailing yacht successfully, systematic engineering information is required including technologies from various companies and know-how about sailing yacht. The engineering information about sailing yacht has a complex and extensive structure. Therefore, a robust and high-level of management system is needed to manage the information. In this paper, we design and propose Generic-YWBS (Generic-Yacht Work Breakdown Structure), a work breakdown structure for sailing yachts. The Generic-YWBS is aimed at constructing sailing yachts and contains contents about product- and process-oriented information of sailing yachts. In addition, the Generic-YWBS plays an important role in managing the engineering information as a basic schema of database and system architecture. The Generic-YWBS is derived from fundamental WBS design processes and various rules about sailing yachts, for example, ISAF (International Sailing Federation) equipment rule and IRC rating rule, and a generic structure concept is applied for flexibility. The Generic-YWBS is applicable for various purposes. We designed a detailed code system in order to apply the Generic-YWBS to contents management system. The series of activities are realized through a web-based RIA(Rich Internet Application) program. This program manages the YWBS structure in an XML schema, and the Generic-YWBS management application offers a customizing function to be adapted in the field.

  • We give an explicit formula for the Mordell-Weil rank of an abelian fibered variety and some of its applications for an abelian fibered $hyperk{\ddot{a}}hler$ manifold. As a byproduct, we also give an explicit example of an abelian fibered variety in which the Picard number of the generic fiber in the sense of scheme is different from the Picard number of generic closed fibers.

  • A lot of researches state mathematical justification is important. Specially, NCTM (2000) mentions that mathematical reasoning and proof should be taught every student from pre-primary school to 12 grades. Some of researches say elementary school students are also able to prove and justify their own solution(Lester, 1975; King, 1970, 1973; Reid, 2002). Balacheff(1987), Tall(1995), Harel & Sowder(1998, 2007), Simon & Blume(1996) categorize the level or the types of mathematical justification. We re-categorize the 4 types of mathematical justification basis on their studies; external conviction justification, empirical-inductive justification, generic justification, deductive justification. External conviction justification consists of authoritarian justification, ritual justification, non-referential symbolic justification. empirical-inductive justification consists of naive examples justification and crucial example justification. Generic justification consists of generic example and visual example. The results of this research are following. First, elementary school teachers in Korea respectively understand mathematical justification well. Second, elementary school teachers in Korea prefer deductive justification when they justify by themselves, while they prefer empirical-inductive justification when they teach students.

  • Machine learning models are vulnerable to adversarial examples generated by adding a deliberately designed perturbation to a benign sample. Particularly, for automatic speech recognition (ASR) system, a benign audio which sounds normal could be decoded as a harmful command due to potential adversarial attacks. In this paper, we focus on the countermeasures against audio adversarial examples. By analyzing the characteristics of ASR systems, we find that frame offsets with silence clip appended at the beginning of an audio can degenerate adversarial perturbations to normal noise. For various scenarios, we exploit frame offsets by different strategies such as defending, detecting and hybrid strategy. Compared with the previous methods, our proposed method can defense audio adversarial example in a simpler, more generic and efficient way. Evaluated on three state-of-the-arts adversarial attacks against different ASR systems respectively, the experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively improve the robustness of ASR systems.

  • This paper revisited the key advances on System Dynamics modeling about traditional macro-economic models and economic growth structures, and then tries to elaborate a new model based on the endogenous growth theory that incorporates new growth factors, relevant to knowledge/technology as well as the Environment, into traditional growth models. Accordingly, the new model augments the acceleration and multiplier loops and the balancing ones representing market clearing mechanism with a simple numerical example. The authors thus provides macroeconomic System Dynamics analysts with a milestone to model macro-economic structures reflecting on traditional and cutting-edge theories on sustainable economic growth and general equilibrium modeling.

  • A new control scheme s proposed for the control of reactive batch distillation (RBD) column. A nonlinear wave model captures the essential dynamic behavior of the RBD process. The proposed control scheme is based on both Generic Model Control(GNC) and nonlinear wave model. The control scheme uses a profile position of the column as a controlled variable. Ethanol esterification process using RBD is chosen as an example process. Tight control of the distillate purity is obtained with the use of the proposed control scheme.

  • The 2 × 3 crossover design, a modified version of the 3 × 3 crossover design, is considered to compare the bioavailability of two generic candidates with a reference drug. The 2 × 3 crossover design is more economically favorable due to decrease in the number of sequences, rather than conducting a 3×3 crossover trial or two separate 2 × 2 crossover trials. However, when using a higher-order crossover trial, the risk of drop-outs and withdrawals of subjects increases, so the suitable statistical inferences for missing data is needed. The bioequivalence model of a of 2×3 crossover trial with missing data is defined and the statistical procedures of assessing bioequivalence is proposed. An illustrated example of the 2 × 3 trial with missing data is also presented with discussion.

  • Singular stress fields around three-dimensional wedges are examined, and the near-tip intensity is calculated via the two-state M-integral with the aid of the domain integral representation. A numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness and accuracy of the present scheme for computing the stress intensities of singular stresses near the generic three-dimensional wedges.
