  • ISO 10303-AP241 is an Application Protocol of ISO 10303, which specifies the representation of AEC facility's life cycle information. The Working Draft of AP241 was submitted to the TC184/SC4 of ISO in July, 2007 by Korean team of ISO TC184/SC4/WG3. This paper introduces the currently developed draft Ap241 core model, and describes the life cycle support modules which are required to represent the life cycle information of AEC facilities. The draft core model is developed as a generic data model which is useful as a basis for implementation in a data warehouse. This core model could be used in combination with reference data such as PLCS RDL, Gellish table and RDL of ISO 15926. These concepts already exists in ISO 10303-AP221, AP239 and ISO 15926. In order to support maintenance and feedback of operational information concerning the AEC facilities, the AP241 team re-used many modules from AP239, and developed various STEP Application Modules which are adapted from the ISO 15926.

  • The 2 × 3 crossover design, a modified version of the 3 × 3 crossover design, is considered to compare the bioavailability of two generic candidates with a reference drug. The 2 × 3 crossover design is more economically favorable due to decrease in the number of sequences, rather than conducting a 3×3 crossover trial or two separate 2 × 2 crossover trials. However, when using a higher-order crossover trial, the risk of drop-outs and withdrawals of subjects increases, so the suitable statistical inferences for missing data is needed. The bioequivalence model of a of 2×3 crossover trial with missing data is defined and the statistical procedures of assessing bioequivalence is proposed. An illustrated example of the 2 × 3 trial with missing data is also presented with discussion.

  • This paper presents an IoT platform of common interfaces that are flexible IoT applications and Connect the smart devices. The IoT platform includes automatic collaboration discovery the smart Device. It is different things case with connection each device through IoT Platforms are each device and application service. Due to these heterogeneities, it is quite advantages to develop applications working with derived IoT services. This circumstance needs the generic interface and results in a range of IoT architectures by not only the environments settings and discovery resource but also varied uniqe to implementation services working with IoT applications. Therefore, this suggestion of solve the problems and make it possible independent platforms always alive to connection with each devices based on the generic interface. The generic interface is heterogeneity-driven solve the problems and effectively contributions a platform that could be operated in diverse IoT Platforms.

  • A simulated network protocol provides the capability of distributed simulation to a generic simulator. Through this, full coverage of management of data and service handling among separated simulators is achieved. The distributed simulation environment is much more conducive to handling simulation load balancing and hazard treatment than a standalone computer. According to the simulated network protocol, one simulator takes on the role of server and the other simulators take on the role of client, and client is controlled by server. The purpose of the simulated network protocol is to seamlessly connect multiple simulator instances into a single simulation environment. This paper presents the development of a simulated network (simNetwork) that provides the capability of distributed simulation to a generic simulator (GenSim), which is a software simulator of satellites that has been developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute since 2010, to use as a flight software validation bench for future satellite development.

  • Acquiring context data in a timely and correct way is now regarded as one of the crucial characteristics of the proactive service which runs on ubiquitous computing environment. Moreover, context model should be well designed to provide a solid context-aware system. Since the ubiquitous computing systems aim to provide context-aware services everywhere with any available devices, legacy services which uses context models assuming single or limited domain should be extended enough to be useful even for multi-domain muli-services. This leads us to a motivation to build a generic context model with an appropriate type of model. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a generic context model by assessing a variety of model types with a sort of evaluation measures.

  • Motivated by learning from experience and exploiting existing knowledge in civil nuclear operations, we have developed in-house generic Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) models for pressurized and boiling water reactors. The models are computationally light, handy, transparent, user-friendly, and easily adaptable to account for major plant-specific differences. They cover the common internal initiating events, frontline and support systems reliability and dependencies, human-factors, common-cause failures, and account for new factors typically overlooked in many PSAs. For quantification, the models use generic US reliability data, precursor analysis reports, the ETHZ Curated Nuclear Events Database, and experts' opinions. Moreover, uncertainties in the most influential basic events are addressed. The generated results show good agreement with assessments available in the literature with detailed PSAs. We envision the models as an unbiased framework to measure nuclear operational risk with the same "ruler", and hence support inter-plant risk comparisons that are usually not possible due to differences in plant-specific PSA assumptions and scopes. The models can be used for initial risk screening, order-of-magnitude precursor analysis, and other research/pedagogic applications especially when no plant-specific PSAs are available. Finally, we are using the generic models for large-scale precursor analysis that will generate big picture trends, lessons, and insights.

  • A three-dimensional inviscid flow solver has been developed based on unstructured meshes for the simulation of steady and unsteady flowfields around a generic fighter aircraft and for the investigation of the aerodynamic interference between the external stores and the tail surfaces. The flow solver is based on a vertex-centered finite-volume method and an implicit point Gauss-Seidel relaxation scheme. To validate the flow solver, calculations were made for a steady flow and the computed results were compared with experimental data. An unsteady time-accurate computation of the generic fighter aircraft with external stores at transonic flight conditions showed that the external stores cause undesirable vibration on the horizontal tail surface due to the mutual interference between their wake and the horizontal tail surface. It was shown that downward deflection of the trailing edge flap significantly reduces the undesirable interference effect.

  • The vegetative and reproductive morphology of some parasitic Janczewskia Solms-Laubach species including the type species was examined based on specimens collected from various localities around the world. In J. gardneri Setchell et Guernsey on Osmundea spectabilis (Postels et Ruprecht) Nam from California, secondary pit connections are not found between epidermal cells and vegetative axial cells have two pericentral cells. As its host, J. gardneri also has a typical filament type male structure in an apical urn-shaped pit of branches rather than the trichoblast type in other species including the type J. verruciformis Solms-Laubach and tetrasporangial origin of epidermal cells rather than pericentral cells. These significant differences between the species suggest that J. gardneri should be separated from the genus Janczewskia. Based on this morphological data, the section Heterojanczewskia Setchell including J. gardneri, together with an emendation of the generic delineation of Janczewskia, is elevated to the genus level. Relevant nomenclatural changes for some Janczewskia species are also included here.

  • this paper presents the concept of "mobile ATM', a proposal for third-generation (3G) mobile communication network infrastructure capable of supporting flexible evolution of radio technologies from today's cellular and data services towards future wireless multimedia services. Mobile ATM provides generic mobility management and QoS-based transport capabilities suitable for integration of multiple radio access technologies including cellular voice. wireless data, and future broadband wireless services. The architecture of a mobile ATM network is outlined in terms of the newly-defined "W-UNI" interface at the radio link and "M-UNI"and "M-UNI" interface which supports unified access for WATM and non-ATM mobile terminals through corresponding interworking functions (IWF) is explained. leading to an understanding of how different radio access technologies are supported by the same ATM-based core network infrastructure. Generic mechanisms for handoff and location management within the core mobile network are discussed. and related protocol extensions over the "W-UNI" and "M-UNI/NNI"interfaces are proposed. the issue of "crossover switch (COS)" selection in mobile ATM is considered, and a unified handoff signaling syntax which supports flexibility in COS selection is described. Typical signaling sequences for call connection and handoff using the proposed protocols are outlined. Experimental results form a proof-of-concept mobile ATM network prototype are presented in conclusion.
