FORMULAS DEDUCIBLE FROM A GENERALIZATION OF GOTTLIEB POLYNOMIALS IN SEVERAL VARIABLES

  • Gottlieb polynomials were introduced and investigated in 1938, and then have been cited in several articles. Very recently Khan and Akhlaq introduced and investigated Gottlieb polynomials in two and three variables to give their generating functions. Subsequently, Khan and Asif investigated the generating functions for the $q$-analogue of Gottlieb polynomials. In this sequel, by modifying Khan and Akhlaq's method, Choi presented a generalization of the Gottlieb polynomials in $m$ variables to present two generating functions of the generalized Gottlieb polynomials ${\varphi}^m_n({\cdot})$. Here, we show that many formulas regarding the Gottlieb polynomials in m variables and their reducible cases can easily be obtained by using one of two generating functions for Choi's generalization of the Gottlieb polynomials in m variables expressed in terms of well-developed Lauricella series $F^{(m)}_D[{\cdot}]$.

  • In this paper, for n = 2m and odd prime p, new generalized bent functions from the finite field F$\_$p$^n$/ to the prime field F$\_$p/ are constructed from the partial spreads for F$\_$p$^n$/. Closed form expressions for the proposed generalized bent functions and their trace transform are derived in the form of the trace functions. The trace expressions for the bent functions and their trace transforms defined on F(equation omitted) constructed by using PS- are also derived.

  • The aim of this paper is to investigate the Fekete $Szeg{\ddot{o}}$ inequality for subclass of analytic functions defined by convolution between generalized Al-Oboudi differential operator and Srivastava-Attiya integral operator. Further, application to fractional derivatives are also given.

  • 참고문헌 [4, 12]에서 지성택외 2인은 새로운 암호 기본 논리로서 semi-bent 함수를 정의하였는데, semi-bent 함수는 우수한 암호학적 특성을 가지는 반면 홀수차 벡터 공간에만 존재하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 홀수차 뿐만 아니라 짝수차에도 존재하는 generalized semi-bent 함수를 정의하고, 이를 생성하는 체계적인 방법을 제안하며, 암호학적 주요 특성을 분석한다. 또한, SUC를 만족하는 부울함수들을 홀수차뿐만 아니라 짝수차에서도 찾을 수 있음을 보인다.

  • Recently, Liu et al. [Bilateral generating functions for the Chan-Chyan-Srivastava polynomials and the generalized Lauricella function, Integral Transform Spec. Funct. 23 (2012), no. 7, 539-549] investigated, in several interesting papers, some various families of bilateral generating functions involving the Chan-Chyan-Srivastava polynomials. The aim of this present paper is to obtain some bilateral generating functions involving the Chan-Chyan-Sriavastava polynomials and three general classes of multivariable polynomials introduced earlier by Srivastava in [A contour integral involving Fox's H-function, Indian J. Math. 14 (1972), 1-6], [A multilinear generating function for the Konhauser sets of biorthogonal polynomials suggested by the Laguerre polynomials, Pacific J. Math. 117 (1985), 183-191] and by Kaano$\breve{g}$lu and $\ddot{O}$zarslan in [Two-sided generating functions for certain class of r-variable polynomials, Mathematical and Computer Modelling 54 (2011), 625-631]. Special cases involving the (Srivastava-Daoust) generalized Lauricella functions are also given.

The Incomplete Lauricella Functions of Several Variables and Associated Properties and Formulas

  • Motivated mainly by certain interesting recent extensions of the generalized hypergeometric function [30] and the second Appell function [6], we introduce here the incomplete Lauricella functions ${\gamma}^{(n)}_A$ and ${\Gamma}^{(n)}_A$ of n variables. We then systematically investigate several properties of each of these incomplete Lauricella functions including, for example, their various integral representations, finite summation formulas, transformation and derivative formulas, and so on. We provide relevant connections of some of the special cases of the main results presented here with known identities. Several potential areas of application of the incomplete hypergeometric functions in one and more variables are also pointed out.

  • We introduce and investigate the notions of super (g,g')-continuous functions and strongly $\theta$(g,g')-continuous functions on generalized topological spaces, which are strong forms of (g,g')-continuous functions. We also investigate relationships among such the functions, (g,g')-continuity and (${\delta},{\delta}'$)-continuity.

A Method of Obtaning Least Squares Estimators of Estimable Functions in Classification Linear Models

  • In the problem of estimating estimable functions in classification linear models, we propose a method of obtaining least squares estimators of estimable functions. This method is based on the hierarchical Bayesian approach for estimating a vector of unknown parameters. Also, we verify that estimators obtained by our method are identical to least squares estimators of estimable functions obtained by using either generalized inverses or full rank reparametrization of the models. Some examples are given which illustrate our results.
