The objectives of this study were to classify the contents of clothing image preferences, and to examine how clothing image preferences vary according to extroversion-introversion, gender, and age. Subjects for the study were 627 men and women ranging in ages from teens to forties in Kwangju City, Korea. The results of the study were as follows; 1) Four factors of clothing image preference derived by factor analysis : F. 1 'peculiar image' ; F. 2 'noble image' ; F. 3 'bright image' ; F. 4 'sprightly imagel'. 2) The interaction between extroversion-introversion groups and gender groups was significant for sprigtly images. The men of extroversion group tended to prefer gentle images, while the women of extroversion group preferred sprightly images. 3) The women liked sprightly images more than the men, the liked gentle images more. Women in their 20's liked sprightly image most, but as they grew older they tended to prefer gentle images. 4) The extroversion groups liked peculiar images more than the introversion groups. Teens liked peculiar image more than the others, subjects in their 30's and 40's preferred commonplace images. 5) The extroversion groups liked noble images more than the introversion groups. Women in their 30's and 40's liked popular images more than female subjects in their teens and twenties. Women in their teens and twenties liked popular images more than did the men in the same age group. 6) The extroversion groups liked bright images more than the introversion groups. Men in their teens and 20's liked bright images more than did men in their 30's and 40's. This finding suggests that women liked sprightly and noble clothing images, and men liked commonplace and gentle images. As they grew older, they tended to like commonplace, popular, and gentle clothing images. The extroversion groups liked peculiar, noble, and bright images more than did the introversion groups. The results of this study mean that personality traits such as extroversion-introversion are characteristics that affect clothing preferences, and it is possible to infer people's personality by their attire.

The purpose of this research is to do exploratory analysis on the relationships between demographic characteristics of entrepreneurial candidates and their developmental level of entrepreneurial traits as well as the choice of business field. We analyzed gender, age, and educational level of the entrepreneurial candidates and their developmental level of entrepreneurial traits such as achievement tendencies, degree of awareness, planning skills, sincerity, interpersonal relationship, and problem-solving skills. Industry fields were classified into 4 types: restaurants, retail, services, internet business. Descriptive statistical analyses, logistic regressions, and variance analyses were performed about the sample data gathered from 1,441 persons since the year 2002 to 2014. Males and highly educated above university preferred service industry than restaurant, retail, and internet business. Females preferred internet business, retail, and restaurants than service industry field. The young persons under 20 showed higher probability to choose internet business. The college level and high school graduates preferred retail and restaurants than service industry. The developmental level of entrepreneurial traits were higher in male and highly educated. By this study, we could find the divide between groups with high and low probabilities of failure: restaurants and retail field showed higher failure probability than service industry in the business fields of self-employed. Furthermore, we could identify that entrepreneurial traits also had been developed differently depending on the groups. It is necessary to refrain from entering into the fields with high failure probabilities as well as to provide supporting policies to build the systems and environment to reduce the cases to begin new business without special knowledges and know-hows. The competency development training should be provided in the early stage of start-ups considering their entrepreneurial traits and aptitudes. Not only the assessment of the entrepreneurial traits but also professional counseling from initial stage are necessary.
This study is aimed to reflect non-cognitive traits that should be assessed in admissions interviews for medical school applicants, with the goal being to increase the reliability of the admissions interview. The admissions interview is valued for its ability to assess noncognitive and nonteachable attributes of good doctors, especially which cannot be evaluated with other admission assessment tools. Various characteristics of applicants including age, gender, exam scores, and nonverbal communication were found to have influenced the interview results. Bias from interviewers was a significant factor in the results of the interview. A Structured interview in multiple stations such as the Multiple Mini-Interview showed the highest reliability and validity. To make the interview fair, no information about the applicants was provided to the interviewers and interviewers were recruited from different backgrounds. There have been few research papers on admission interviews in Korea. Active research on the qualities of good doctors and effective and reliable admission interview methods should be encouraged. A strategy should be developed to overcome the philosophical obstacles that medical school professors want to admit academically excellent applicants.
This research is to examine the homogeneity in premarital resources that is exchanged in mate selection and its effect on marital satisfaction among the urban couples in the early period of marriage. Structured questionnaires from 310 urban couples who had been married less than three years were analyzed in this study. First the urban couples tended to seek homogamous selection in age educational level in socioeconomic status of the parents and themselves, Second those who had a spouse from his(her) own religious parental socioeconomic status showed higher level of marital satisfaction than those who had not. The rewards from personal traits such as physical attractiveness gender-role identity personality role-expectation value orientation and perceived reward found to have strong and positive associations with marital satisfaction. Parental approval and semi-arranged marriage were associated with marital satisfaction. Third perceived rewards from these resources and parental approval had significant effects on marital satisfaction; almost half of marital satisfaction was explained by these premarital factors.

The objective of this study was to identify the determinants of digital divide according to the characteristics of the elderly. In order to achieve this objective, this study selected elderly people (${\geq}65$ years old) who used a senior welfare center in Chungcheongbuk-do. The survey was conducted using a self-filling survey method for 12 days. Total 289 copies of questionnaires were used for the analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, gender and age among the demographic characteristics were the factors causing the digital divide of the elderly. Second, education level, economic level, Secondly, education level, economic level, health level, and occupation were factors creating the digital divide of the elderly. This study suggested practical and policy implications based on these results.
The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of gender on meat quality traits and sensory characteristics of pork loin. A total of 90 pork carcasses (180 days old, 45 barrows and 45 gilts, each gender group was consisted of fifteen 1+, 1 and 2 carcass grades) were selected and loin cuts were excised to investigate meat quality, electronic tongue measures and sensory panel test. There were significant differences in drip loss (1.66% vs 1.21%), released water (12.19% vs 10.68%) and cooking loss (23.67% vs 21.04%) between loins from barrow and gilt (p<0.05). However, no significant differences in meat color (CIE L* a* b*) and shear force were observed between gender groups (p>0.05). Umami and richness values of barrow were significantly higher than those of gilt, while barrow had significantly lower sourness value compared to gilt(p<0.05). On the sensory evaluation, barrow scored higher in flavor, juiciness and tenderness both, and as a result, barrow (5.51 points) also scored significantly higher than gilt (4.86 points). These results suggest that the umami intensity and sensory taste of barrow loin are superior to gilt loin due to its high water-holding capacity.

The purpose of this study is to examine high school students' perception of male home economics teachers and identify diverse viewpoints. To this end, the Q method was used, which is useful for operant subjectivity studies in which research participants create their own opinions and viewpoints. Based on the general procedures of the Q method, this study finalized 40 statements comprised of the representational system of high school students on male home economics teachers, which are Q samples, from the Q population. The statements were Q-sorted by P samples comprised of 31 high school seniors and analyzed using the QUANL program. The results showed that there were 4 different viewpoints of high school students on male home economics teachers. The type 1 focused on individual traits, claiming that the 'male' gender of home economics teachers and the 'home economics' subject are merely individual traits of the teachers. The type 2 focused on the subject, perceiving male home economics teachers with focus on the subject of home economics. The type 3 focused on competencies, thinking that male home economics teachers have sufficient skills and competencies to teach home economics. Finally, the type 4 focused on character, valuing the character of the teachers and thinking that male home economics teachers are great teachers who took up the challenge of teaching home economics. This study has significance as it provides the basic data for in-depth understanding of students' perception of male home economics teachers in individual context.
The purpose of this study was to compare college students' emoticon use for positive behavior and to analyze the impact of the factors. This study is consisted of 66 questions based on Social demographic characteristics, personality characteristics factors and both scales of emotional expression. The operational test was administered to 340 college students. In an effort to calibrate emoticon use of positive behavior, the results displayed significance differences depending on the gender and grade of the students. Women used more emoticons than men, and freshman used more emoticons than any other year of students. Women used more emoticons such as texts, images, and flash more than men. Students in their freshman year were shown to use more emoticons than students in other grade levels. Emotional expression was strongly related man with personality traits of integrity. Personality traits of sensitivity, openness, intimacy, and sincerity had a significant influence on the emotional expression. An emoticon is, therefore, be a useful tool to express their emotions. Male and female students with higher levels of congeniality had expressed more emotions that were self-defence ambivalent and concerned-relation ambivalent. However, in the case of the female students, those with higher levels of self-defence ambivalent emotional expressiveness had a lower usage of positive emoticons, while male students with higher levels of self-defence emotional expressiveness used more positive emoticons. Higher levels of congeniality among groups that use mobile emoticons with their parents, whether the frequency of use was high or low, were associated with higher levels of self-defence ambivalence and concerned-relation ambivalence. Those with higher levels of sincerity had low levels of self-defence ambivalence and concerned-relation ambivalence, and those with higher levels of concerned-relation ambivalence had higher levels of positive emoticon usage.

It has been reported that programming education has a positive effect on 'improvement of problem solving skills' within the domain of information subject. Improvement of problem solving skills through education programming was confirmed through various variables, such as gender and programming method. This study aims to investigate the proper programming method of each learner by dividing the characteristics of learners according to their characteristics. To achieve our goal, we chose 62 S high school students enrolled in a programming class as the subjects of our study. The results of this study conveyed that project preference and gender can affect the achievement of the individual, whereas programming experience can affect the achievement of the team. This study provides suggestions of how to pursue a programming class according to learner characteristics as well as indicate which characteristics we should take into account.
This study was performed to determine the influence of pig breed and gender on the ultimate pH and physicochemical properties of pork. The correlations between pH and pork quality traits directly related to carcass grade, and consumer's preference were also evaluated. The pH and meat grading scores for cold carcasses of 215 purebred pigs (Duroc, Landrace, and Yorkshire) from four different farms were obtained. Meat quality parameters of the pork loin were analyzed. Duroc and female animals were more affected compared to other breeds and male pigs. Duroc animals had the highest ultimate pH, carcass back fat thickness, marbling scores, yellowness, and fat content (p<0.05). Landrace pigs had the highest color lightness and cooking loss values (p<0.05). Among all trait parameters, marbling scores showed the highest significant differences when evaluating the impact of breed and gender on meat quality characteristics (p<0.001). Ultimate pH was positively correlated with carcass weight (0.20), back fat thickness (0.19), marbling score (0.17), and color score (0.16) while negatively correlated with cooking loss (-0.24) and shear force (-0.20). Therefore, pork samples with lower ultimate pH had lower cooking loss, higher lightness, and higher shear force values irrespective of breed.
